I cannot say enough good things about this agency and Robin. She has been such an incredible person to work with and has made such a positive difference in my experience finding nanny work. From the very beginning, Robin has been kind, professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. What stands out to me most is that she actually takes the time to get to understand what you're looking for, and find opportunities that are a good fit rather than simply trying to place you anywhere. She listens to your preferences, your experience, your goals, and what is important to you when it comes to finding the right family. I have worked with other people and organizations where finding work can feel very impersonal, but that has never been my experience with Robin. She makes you feel like she actually cares about how things work out for you. She has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and I always feel comfortable reaching out when I have questions or need guidance. Her communication is wonderful, and she has consistently been quick to respond, helpful, and reassuring. I also really appreciate how much she advocates for the nannies she works with. It is clear that she wants both the families and the nannies to have a positive experience, and she puts real effort into making sure the positions are a good match. That makes such a huge difference when you are looking for work that is not only financially worthwhile, but also somewhere you can feel comfortable, respected, and valued. The opportunities this agency has helped me find have been such a blessing, and I am genuinely grateful for the work Robin has put into helping me. She has helped make the process of finding nanny positions feel much less stressful and has given me confidence in knowing that I have someone knowledgeable and supportive in my corner. Robin is truly one of those people who goes above and beyond what you would expect. She is compassionate, reliable, hardworking, and incredibly good at what she does. You can tell that she takes pride in her work and genuinely wants the people she works with to succeed. If you are a nanny looking for work, I would wholeheartedly recommend them and I feel very lucky to have found a who has been so supportive throughout my journey. Thank you, Robin, for everything you do and for all of the opportunities and support you have given me. I truly appreciate you read more

We had a very disappointing experience with this nanny agency. The business practices felt extremely unprofessional from the start -- we were never asked to sign a clear agreement outlining fees, guarantees, or policies before the search began. Terms discussed verbally (including a 6-month guarantee and a placement fee equivalent to 6 weeks of the nanny's pay) did not match the contract posted online, which stated no guarantees/refunds and a different fee structure for part-time placements. Communication was rushed and disorganized, consisting mostly of hastily written emails with little clarity around timelines, process, or next steps. Candidate quality was also highly questionable and often far outside the criteria we provided. One candidate was a no-show to the interview and had full voicemail/email inboxes with extremely poor communication. Another lived 1.5 hours away each direction in traffic, making the role unrealistic. Another openly described wanting "something easy" after being out of work and had no meaningful nanny experience. Out of four candidates, only one was a strong fit. When I raised concerns about inconsistencies between the verbal terms and the online contract, instead of discussing it professionally over the phone as requested, the agency responded with multiple hostile emails accusing me of trying to take advantage of them. I also noticed that many of the agency's positive reviews appear to be written by nannies rather than families who actually paid for placement services, which in hindsight feels somewhat misleading. Ultimately, we found an excellent nanny ourselves through Facebook groups. For the $6k+ fee, the experience was simply not worth the stress and lack of professionalism. read more

My brother found his nanny through A Nanny Connection and she stayed with their family for 10 years, becoming part of their extended family. When we had our newborn, we immediately called Robin at A Nanny Connection. Robin thoroughly explained the entire process and clearly outlined all placement fees and expectations upfront. Communication was easy, responsive, and professional, and she always took the time to answer our questions. Each candidate fit the exact description of what we were looking for - she really listened to our family's needs. The only difficult part was choosing who to hire because every candidate presented was high caliber and impressive. We highly recommend A Nanny Connection. read more

I've been working with Robin at A Nanny Connection for over 20 years, and it has always been a wonderful experience. She's professional, supportive, and has connected me with excellent families throughout the years. I highly recommend Nanny Connection! read more

Robin is amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable, walked us through the selection and placement processes and answered all our questions. She was super kind and easy to get a hold of at any time of day. Highly recommend. We love A Nanny Connection! read more

Being a first-time parent in the age of COVID19... We made an early decision to hire a night nanny/Newborn Care Specialist, since we were first-time parents without easy access to parents or relatives who can provide effective childcare support. We also have concerns over a smooth recovery period after giving birth, which requires sleep and rest for her. As for me, I value sleep too! The first few months for an infant is a critical time, so we wanted some professional help. After talking to several agencies, I decided to go with Robin to help us find a night nanny for 3 months. Robin was responsive to our questions (before and during COVID) and was transparent with her fees. The placement fee for a 3 month contract was very reasonable compared to other agencies. Best of all, she found us the perfect night nanny, G.G. G.G. worked for us 40 hrs/week on weekdays and did all the usual night nanny duties of feeding, burping, changing, cleaning, etc. while we were able to get uninterrupted sleep. G.G. managed to get our son (now 3 months old) able to sleep through the night, 6pm to 7:30am. Yes, you can learn to feed and burp a baby while he's half asleep! A good night nanny also serves as a friend and mentor - we learned so much childcare tips from G.G. that there is hope we can be decent parents, LOL! Although she works only at night for us, G.G. gives great suggestions for daytime care, what baby supplies to buy, feeding schedules, and suggested play activities. Hiring a nanny is risky during COVID19, but not having adequate child care (we are amateurs!) and not getting sufficient time to recover is also risky to our health. It was a calculated risk on our part, and I believe everything worked out. I highly recommend Robin for your specific nanny needs, especially if you're looking for a night nanny. read more

Robin is extremely hard working and compassionate. She helped my family through a difficult life transition with a lot of grace and patience. The onboarding process is a breeze and candidates are sent immediately. All nannies are screened very thoroughly and many of them have worked with Robin for years. You can reach out to previous families, interview several candidates, and even trial a nanny to find the perfect fit. There's so much peace of mind throughout the selection process. Our nanny has been with us for almost a year and is apart of our family. I don't know what I would do without her. I feel really blessed to have found her. I'm forever grateful for Robin and the Nanny Connection. read more

I have known Robin for 25+ years now. Robin provided an amazing experience helping our family find a nanny. Finding a nanny is very hard and time consuming. A Nanny Connection streamlines everything for you and narrows the search down to only a few options that are specifically tailored to your needs. When we began our search for a nanny it was overwhelming, but A Nanny Connection helped provide us with 5 amazing candidates in a matter of days. We loved each of them. I think the only problem we had with the company is that we could not figure out who to hire! Each candidate Robin provided to us was high qualified with all the requisite immunizations, drivers licenses, background checks etc. Robin really does an amazing job at taking all of the stress away from trying to find the perfect person to care for your child. Highly recommend. read more

Robin is fantastic. She's been able to find me two incredible Nannies both within 24 hours. Our first nanny was incredible and became part of our family but had to leave due to a family emergency. Robin was able to line up great candidates for me to chat with within hours and I had 3 trials the next day. I found another nanny who also has become part of the family. She treats our baby with so much love, cooks meals, helps around the house, just like our first one. It is extremely hard to trust others with the most precious thing in your life but Robin finds people who are compatible with your needs and who you can trust fully. This is the best agency to find a nanny, I'm so glad I found Robin! read more

We have continued to work with Robin and A Nanny Connection over the last five years to help us find the right person for my family's evolving needs. We remain very impressed by Robin and the service she provides. She finds great candidates, people she has worked with for 10-20+ years, fully vetted with the right background checks, recommendations, and key details relevant to the placement. Robin streamlines the process so you don't have to waste time and energy finding the right person. It is of great value, and I highly recommend the company and its service. read more

Robin runs an outstanding, professional nanny agency. I have worked with her for the past 7 years. She goes above and beyond. She's even happy to get an after hours text if you have any questions. She has both the nanny and the families best interest at heart and will try to match accordingly. I highly recommend using her if you are a parent needing help or a nanny looking for your next position. Thank you Robin for all your help!! read more

Our experience with Robin and A Nanny Connection was amazing. Robin was empathetic and thoughtful about our childcare needs, promptly connecting us with very professional leads. She encouraged us to strike our individual rapports in meet and greets, setting us to build trusted relationships early in with our now current nanny. She empowered us with the knowledge of contractual arrangements, while giving us the autonomy to drive discussions on our own. Overall, we drew such great comfort and confidence in meeting with our current childcare provider with her robust references, thoughtfulness and groundwork. We strongly recommend her to any family looking for a nanny. read more

I would give zero stars, if I could. DO NOT USE the nanny agency Nanny Connection or work with its owner Robin LeGrand.  They didn't refund the fee we paid after the nanny they placed for us didn't show up for work after coming for less than three weeks. The nanny was a flat out no show on a Monday morning. Gave zero notice. Of the three weeks she was with us, she only came half the time because she was out sick -  we even paid this nanny during her sick days. Nanny Connection/Robin LeGrand say they don't give any refunds. So they are penalizing me - their client - for this nanny's irresponsibility even though we have not hired a nanny successfully using their agency.  I'm literally paying for someone else's actions and coming out of it without childcare from this agency. But, if you'd like to: 1) Pay a hefty finder's fee 2) Get an unprofessional nanny 3) Have her quit with no notice, and 4) Not be provided a refund Then, hire Nanny Connection and work with its owner Robin LeGrand - who by the way has ZERO accountability and is unresponsive after several attempts at trying to come to an understanding. Her focus is pocketing the finder's fee and walking away from any accountability. read more

Where can I start with a Robin? She is just simply amazing. I've been a nanny for a long time and I am so happy and grateful I found her. She helped through the whole process of finding a perfect family. She is professional and on her GAME! There is not one time she didn't answer a question or helped through getting my paperwork ready. She is honest when needed to be and always encouraging. She was more interested in finding the right fit than just placing me where ever. She really took the time to get to know me and the needs I have as a caregiver. If I could give her 10000 stars I would! Thanks Robin! read more

I highly recommend A Nanny Connection if you are looking to find an excellent Family & Nanny connection! They do a fantastic job of matching both the needs of the family as well as the Nanny! I'm currently nannying for an amazing family I've been with for 2.5 yrs. I have been really impressed with how thoroughly I was screened, and A Nanny Connection did a great job assessing each family's wants & needs in order to find a great match. The family as a result has their needs met, and I feel like I've been able to make a huge difference for them because A Nanny Connection takes the time to get to know the families & potential nannies well enough that the Family/Nanny matches are a win for everyone. I have nothing but GREAT things about A Nanny Connection and if you need help finding a great fit in a nanny and feel great about your potential new nanny I highly recommend you call A Nanny Connection!! read more

I am a career nanny with a decade of experience. After years of relying on 'word of mouth', finding Robin changed my life for the better! She thoroughly interviewed me to understand 1) what I have to offer and 2) what I am looking for. Thanks to her agency, I was connected to an incredible family of whom I had the pleasure of working with for many years. Caregivers and parents seeking quality and compatibility would do well to reach out to Nanny Connection! read more

Robin is knowledgeable, available and upfront about her fees. What you don't know until you start working with her is that she is super responsive and always happy to answer questions or navigate difficult situations as they arise, even after placement. That to me is the mark of professionalism and demonstrates that she actually cares about the placements. Robin has worked with our family for almost 2 years now. We had one nanny that didn't work out and one emergency backup who was a total miss. I write this because even through those issues, we continued to work with Robin. Why? She does all the heavy lifting for you. She vets the candidates, speaks to or emails with the references directly, pulls the trust line and DMV records, stays on top of her candidates for vaccinations and flu shots. She also completely understood our concerns with those two nannies and worked with us to make it right. For first time parents who had zero experience with childcare providers, this was such an immense relief. We have had three successful placements with Robin and could not be happier with those nannies. Thank you, Robin. We so appreciate all your help and thank you for helping us find our "unicorn" nannies! read more

from this business's website: every prospective nanny is interviewed and screened personally to ensure you find the nanny that is right for your family absolutely not true. she found the worst nanny for our family. a person who the business owner had worked with in the past, which shows how questionable the owners judgement is. note: just to be clear, this review is not about the "nanny" who was selected for us. we set no time limit for your selection of a nanny. we will continue to arrange erviews until you feel you have found the nanny that meets your family's needs. nope! not at all, not even close replacement guarantee how could we want a replacement from this business when it is run by someone with poor ethical standards? accountability before and after your placement accountability??? not at all. zero. read more

I totally agree with the prior review given my M.H. who states that Robin was rude and unprofessional. I had the same experience while trying to work with her in finding a Nanny. Will never use this agency again. read more

This is review is way overdue as Robin has found us the best nanny ever. She listens very well and picks up excatly what you want in a few minutes of talking to you. No bureaucracy, no lngthy paperwork, no weird phone calls and reviews and back adn forth. I was in an urgent need of a nanny and as someone who never had a nanny, this was very tough and overhwlming for me. Robin showed up like an angel! She heard the urgency, started sending me resumes RIGHT AWAY. She doesnt have any upfront charge which tells you how confident she is in her work. and the nanny we have now... God sent! Martha has become a family member already. My little daughter already adds her in every conversation we have regarding family members. There are so many dollls named after her. and my son won't stop talking about her cooking and the yummy food and snack she makes. Not only she takes care of my chilren, she is a full on family assistant that helps with everything. Punctual, trustworthy, VERY easy to tlak to and ask for things, VERy open to my way of things and adapting, super good with teaching kids manners and respect, very good with boundaries, and just a true blessing in all of our lives. I was not really looking to join an agency seeing I had not had any success many times over my 10 year career as a nanny BUT Robin came highly recommended by my current family at the time so I decided to give it a shot! If you are considering using a nanny placement service do yourself a favor and call Robin! Every morning I watch my 8-month old daughter drum her feet happily on the floor and reach out her arms to our nanny with a huge grin plastered on her face. This image keeps my heart full as I depart for my commute, relaxed in knowing that she is getting a full dose of love and attention from a person I trust completely in my absence. Making the decision to return to work was not an easy one, but, once it was decided, Robin from A Nanny Connection made finding the right caregiver a pain-free experience. My family was not in a position to pay at the top of the pay grade, but Robin was still able to send us several candidates with a wide range of skills and experience. There is an art to this match-making process, and Robin is quick, efficient, and supremely responsive. We had a call with her on a Thursday and were able to start interviewing candidates by that weekend. We talked to several, but we ended up hiring the very first one we interviewed, and she has been a truly wonderful addition to our household. As first-timers, we had tons of questions about best practices, and Robin was always prompt in getting back to us with direct responses or the appropriate resources to get those answers. I adore our nanny and hope that we don't part ways for many years, but, if she should need to move on for any reason, my next call will be to Robin. read more

I have been working as a nanny for a nanny connection, for years. Robin, is great. She really cares about the nannies, and families. Most recently, she placed me with an amazing family. I told her exactly what I was looking for, and she found it! It's so much better then going on a website. She takes the hassle out of looking online. Parents, please remember, you are paying for the service, to find a quality nanny. She is very picky about the nannies that apply. It will save you a lot of time, who has the time , to conduct a very extensive check on potential nannies? Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad people, pretending to be nannies. I'm sure you have heard on the news. Robin is very intuitive, and can tell who will be a good match. read more

I truly do not have enough good things to say about Robin and her phenomenal talent. She is one of those people that words can not do her justice. If you spent five minutes chatting with her, you would know exactly what I'm referring to. She is attentive to your questions and concerns, then she reassuringly provides advice and insight based on her years of experience. That is a quality you want from an advisor and employer (from the nanny perspective) and of someone who is finding the perfect match to care for your pride and joy (from the parent perspective). I have been a nanny for A Nanny Connection for about a year, and have been with the same amazing family Robin placed me with from the beginning. I appreciate all of the checks I went through to be one of her nannies. I knew that since she was thoroughly collecting reference information, background checks, driving records, and safety certifications, she would also be thoroughly understanding the profile of a family to best match with a nanny. After hearing some horror stories from people using alternative ways of finding nannying jobs, I was comforted to be in the hands of someone who genuinely wants to create healthy nanny-family relationships. One of the most extraordinary aspects of having Robin in the mix is whenever I have a question on how to handle a situation, with parents or with a child, she takes the time to guide me in the right direction and follows up to make sure it has been resolved. She is invested in her nannies and families, even after they have been matched. I am so appreciative to have met her and been able to work with her because she has taught me how to be a better nanny, communicate in new ways, and been a fantastic example of someone who has a passion for what she does and it shows in every way. read more

I would like to sing the praises of Robin LeGrand of A Nanny Connection! I have been one of her nannies for four years and have found hers to be the most fabulous, professional nanny agency out there. Not only has she paired me with great families, she has always done her very best to accommodate my employment needs. She has an in ate ability to match wonderful families with, dare I say, equally wonderful nannies! I am also acquainted with families that have worked with her, and they just can't say enough about how priceless her service has been to them. I would, and already have, recommend prospective nannies as well as any family looking to find the perfect fit for their child care needs to Robin. read more

WARNING- DON'T USE THIS SERVICE. Their integrity is questionable at best. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR CHILDREN We were in need of a nanny and reached out to her. She was super responsive which impressed us. However we started noticing some alarming issues that called her ethics and integrity into question. She will send you misleading background check documents that you think you're hiring someone meeting your standards when it couldnt be further from the truth. She manipulated info. RUN! 1.) We clearly set out expectations that we didn't want to interview anyone without a clean driving record. Part of the exorbitantly expensive fee (and yes its outrageously expensive) she charges is to ensure all Nannys are pre-screened for the basics(clean driving record, criminal background checks etc.) She recommended a nanny who she claimed had a clean record and checked all our boxes. She sends us all the prior family referrals and their driving records which seem to meet our expectations. We interview the nanny and she tells us that she had a stop sign violation in the past few months. We thought that's not good but at least she was honest. But then we were confused how that didn't show up on the driving background check sent to us by Robyn prior to the meeting. Checked again and noticed she sent us records from 2-3 years back however they're supposed to have records from no later than 6 months prior. We tell her you sent old records, she then sends the up to date ones. What's really alarming is those records showed the nanny recently had a use of cell phone driving violation in the last 12 months. Nanny didn't mention that to us and neither did Robyn. Had she sent the correct version and not said anything, we would maybe think that was just an oversight (which is still unacceptable when you're trusting your child in this person's hands) but not nefarious. The fact that the correct one showed a serious violation that she knew was a deal breaker for us and either didn't vet it or tried to mislead us really freaked us out but sadly it got worse. 2.) We noticed that the referral letters dates didn't match the fax dates at the bottom of the letter. Like the date of the referral would be 2015-2018 but the fax date that gets automatically printed at the bottom of faxes documents would have a date in the past like 2010-2012. How can a review from 2018 have a fax date of almost a decade in the past? Also all the referrals sounds very much as if the same person was writing them (same type of articulation of thoughts etc.). We asked her about that and then she reveals that those were HER WORDS & SHE WAS THE ONE WRITING THOSE REFERRALS based on her interpretation of the feedback she was getting from the prior families. Im not sure how that's legal especially if you are not disclosing that to the families upfront before sending the "referrals". This was the straw that broke the camels back for us. 3.) Serious conflicts of interests as she charges a percentage of the nanny's annual salary so she is financially motivated to get the most expensive Nanny as it nets her a higher commission. She was sending us Nannies that were substantially more expensive than all our friends were paying and what the market research we pulled showed. Ultimately we went our own way and sure enough found that her Nanny's were far more expensive and didn't even check the boxes in most cases. I struggled with being so candid about this review but by not being transparent, this could put other families and their children in harms way and that is not something I can sleep with knowing even if the owner can. She was very responsive and seemed professional but sadly, she lacked integrity and ethics which negates all benefits of other positive traits when she has such a mission critical role in children's safety. She shouldn't be authorized to run this type of work. read more

As a mother, as many moms know, it is an incredibly difficult decision to let another person be the caretaker of your children. However, with Robins thorough guidelines & policies for her nannies, she does an incredible job placing the right nanny with the right family. I have worked with two other nanny agencies while living in San Francisco, after moving to the East Bay, I honestly cannot say enough good things about Robin & A Nanny Connection. We were sent a number of amazing qualified candidates for the position, they were up to date on all their shots & screenings, we had proof of their previous positions with feedback from previous families, as well as the candidates driving record & their background check. Robin follows up immediately to any questions you may have via email or by phone. She is prompt, precise & incredibly easy to work with. She does an incredible job in finding the perfect match for both the nanny & the family, I highly recommend A Nanny Connection to any mom searching for the perfect agency to work with! read more

I simply cannot say enough good things about Robin LeGrand and her company, A Nanny Connection. I have worked with Robin from the beginning of my career as a nanny. That was over ten years ago, and as a result of Robin's expertise, professionalism, and hard efforts, I have had much success in my line of work. In my experience working with families throughout the east bay, there is one thing that I have learned, and that is that each family has needs that differ so greatly from the other. Finding the right match can be really tricky, especially since work schedules come in a wide variety these days. This is where Robin comes in. She screens all of her nanny and family applicants prior to placement, to ensure that all mandatory requirements have been met, before completing the application process. Using an agency instead of taking on the task of finding a nanny/nanny job on your own, is reassurance that each of your specific needs will be addressed during the entire process. Robin takes the time to inform all of her nannies and families of the "industry standard" so everyone understands what is fair for both parties, preventing any confusion when it comes to handling contracts, wages, etc. In the case you should have a question, or a situation should arise, don't hesitate to give her a call. Robin has shown me nothing but support and encouragement anytime I have called on her. I am proud to call Robin LeGrand, not only my awesome nanny agent, but also my friend. I highly recommend A Nanny Connection to help assist any individual or family looking to find a nanny/nanny job. read more

Robin is very nice. She has placed me with a family years ago. This time around I went on an interview and she told me she has tons of jobs for me and that she would e-mail me the jobs the day after. As a nanny I have been working with this agency for 10 years. Let me tell you this job is NOT for everyone. You need to be a selfless, caring person to work in the privacy of someones home with someone else children. You also need to be a working professional who is responsible and maintains a excellent work ethic no matter how relaxed and comfortable you may feel-the dress code for a nanny is yoga pants and sneakers! Robin really ensures this quality of nanny for her clients. she is professional as well as personable. She really understands the process in placing the right nanny with the right family. It is not easy and does not always happen over night. There has to be a real, honest connection there on both ends. After all this not a corporate office or retail store position. This is someones home and they are putting the most important thing in their life in your hands-their children. I also love that I am never pressured to take a position because she is desperate to make a placement. She is so human when it comes to this and I can't say that about other agency's. I trust Robin and have been nothing but happy with the placements I have had through this agency. whether your a parent or a nanny I highly recommend A Nanny Connection. Robin will take care of you. read more

Robin, the owner and operator of A Nanny Connection is by far one of the best humans I know. I have been a nanny for 15 years (on and off), I've experienced many nanny agencies all over the Bay Area from San Francisco all the way to Oakland and in between. I have never come across an agency that is so real and comfortable. Robin is an extremely hard worker and truly knows her business and the world around her. She is an excellent communicator and is on her game at all times. Not only is she attentive with the nanny and family needs as a business, but she truly cares for people. My dad passed away pretty soon after she found me a family to work for, and she sent me her sentiments. That right there is gold! If you parents are searching for a nanny, pay this lady to find you the right fit! She will!! And you nannies looking for the right family to work for, trust that Robin will do just that and so much more. Thank you Robin for all your hard work and most importantly, thank you for being a beautiful, kind hearted human! We need more people like you in this world! read more

Robin is a star - in fact, 5 stars! I called her in a bind, feeling so sad after our nanny of 5 years left with just 2 weeks notice. She sent me candidates within the same day, and we interviewed candidates that same weekend. More importantly, I felt like she was right there with me in the bunker and felt my pain as a mom and trying to get me the right fit! As an HR executive for over 30 years and having hired thousands of people myself, I was so impressed by how comprehensive her hiring practices are, including all of the background and safety checks any family would want! Robin's energy is amazing, answering emails during the weekends, or evenings, and responding within minutes! I absolutely loved working with Robin, and told her after COVID is over, i had to take her out to a nice dinner to thank her for her help! Robin, you're an amazing lady and business person and I'm so thrilled to have worked with you. Use A Nanny Connection -you will be impressed! read more

I used Robin twice and I am 50-50 hence the three star rating. The first time I used her was for a FT position-she found me a great candidate who I used until my daughter started school. The second time I needed FT temporary (for two months). I found a candidate I liked-worked with her for a week on a "working interview" and on my first two days back to work after maternity leave she called in sick. When she showed up for work later that week she was late everyday and asked to change her hours. My husband also got nervous when she took my daughter to the park and wouldn't answer her phone after being asked to return home in a half hour and not showing up. We decided that we needed to find someone else-after meeting another person (keep in mind I was in a bind b/c I was ALREADY back to work) and not liking her Robin lost her patience with me over the phone-making me feel like I was being too picky. She was starting to give up b/c my position was "only temporary". When we ultimately found someone she showed up to work with a hacking phlegmy cough and insisted it was her asthma. I had to send her home b/c she was feeding my 3 month old and hacking in her face. My daugher woke up a day later with bronchiolitis and had to be put on a nebulizer. I told the nanny not to come back to work-I thought that this nanny acted irresponsibly by showing up to work in her condition.....ultimately after reporting all of this back to Robin I got a "sorry, bad luck" response. I paid all fees in full. read more

I contacted Nanny Connection (Robin) when I was pregnant with my first child because we knew we wanted to hire a nanny for our baby. She responded promptly and went through the process and fees. However, while I was on maternity leave, I decided to post on the Care (dot com) website. I spoke to and interviewed about 15-20 nannies from Care. I even conducted background checks and did "practice days" with a few nannies. Not one of the nannies were of a high caliber and I didn't feel safe at all leaving my 3 month old baby with any of them. So, I sought Nanny Connection out again after not having ANY luck with Care website or Sittercity. I had emailed her the night before and by morning, she had sent me about 4-5 nannies who were searching for jobs and could accommodate my work schedule. She also sent over the entire application packet, which includes a 10 year plus employment history, their Driving Record, several refererences from past employers, Trustline Registry certification and other miscallenous information about the prospective Nanny. She also offers to schedule the interviews for you, but I chose to reach out to the nannies myself. Each Nanny had a lot of experience caring for various ages of children and a long history of nurturing and developing young minds. We chose a nanny and we could not be happier. She is wonderful and really spends time with my baby doing various activities to build both his physical and mental side. Even though Robin is not the actual person providing care for my child, she sent over high-quality candidates who can be trusted with your child. I had contacted other agencies, as well. Their fees were much higher than Robin's and they certainly didn't have a "can do" attitude. When I told those other agencies that I needed a part-time nanny and provided them the specific days/times, they basically told me they couldn't find anybody to meet my needs. Robin never once indicated to me that she was unable to accommodate my schedule. Finally, Robin is very responsive over emails and phone calls. She also will accommodate you if you have special requests. Nanny Connection obviously charges a fee, but in comparison to other agencies, Robin's fees are the least expensive PLUS you are getting exceptional service. Even though there is a fee associated with Nanny Connection, it was worth every penny! read more

First off I would just like to start by saying ROBIN IS AMAZING! Not only is she super nice but she is extremely good at what she does! One of my friends recommended I call her so that I could find a full time family to nanny for. She was not only friendly but extremely motivated to help find a family that was a good fit for me. Almost everyday she sent me different opportunities and because of her I am now with a wonderful family that I already love. I highly recommend using Robin if you are looking to be placed or looking for a nanny. She was so efficient, organized, and good at her job that I did not even have to consider trying to go through another agency other than hers. She truly is as good as it gets. read more

A Nanny Connection is a great place to find a family to work for. I have been placed with different families in the past 9 years of Nannying. Robin LeGrande is so dedicated in finding a match for both parties. She will work with you and the family to find a perfect fit. She will help you negotiate wages and hours and she really is there for your best interest. I have tried working with other agencies, but I keep returning to Robin. I highly recommend A Nanny Connection if you are looking for a Nanny or want to be a Nanny. Sometimes I even call her when I am having an issue with a family and she is always there to give advise and to help work it out. I have sent many fellow Nannies and families her way! Thanks Robin! read more

My whole experience with Nanny Connection has been more than outstanding. Our current nanny decided to switch careers and so the panic set in! I connected Nanny Connection over a weekend and right away Robin was back to me. She has always made herself available to answer any questions I had or simply help me think through things - such amazing service. Right away she sent over some great candidates and her approach was not pushy or aggressive - she would provide what I needed and then wait for me to decide yet be very available if I had questions. We found an amazing nanny and very quickly. Its such a big decision who we leave our little ones with and it can be stressful in that time when you are looking and you just don't know who that new nanny is - but Robin had a way of connecting authentically and honestly. She also cares for her nannies and that showed from they way they spoke about her in interviews and my own conversations with Robin. What more could one ask for :) I would highly recommend ! read more
