Mimi genuinely cares for every child like her own and has decades of experience. Her daughter Mahdis occasionally helps out and the kids adore her; she's just as caring as Mimi. We get daily photos and videos that brighten our whole day. Meals and snacks are healthy and delicious. Our daughter comes home happy every evening. On nice days the kids play in her backyard. Mimi is incredibly flexible, quick to respond, and teaches manners with the perfect mix of warmth and consistency. The holiday decorations are always a huge hit with the little ones. We couldn't ask for better care. Highly recommend Mimi!

She has so much experience and knowledge on babies/kids and sends us updates throughout the day. You can tell that Mimi truly loves all of the kids SO much, and it is definitely reciprocated - all the babies/kids LOVE her! Mimi's daughter, Mahdis, also helps with the little ones occasionally, and she also just loves them all so much. My daughter has grown so much socially & emotionally in the time she has been with Mimi. Her home is clean, organized, and provides a safe and loving environment for the babies and kids to learn, grow, and thrive. Mimi also provides healthy home-cooked meals for the kids, and goes above and beyond to puree some of the food she makes for the older kids for my daughter. I would recommend Mimi to any parent looking for a caring, dependable, and exceptional daycare provider who will make your child feel so loved. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her!

Our 4 year old son started at LAPMS last summer and the transition was extremely smooth for him…read more He had gone to another montessori school before we moved to Danville so he adjusted well due to this but his three teachers at LAPMS were all so warm, loving, and caring. Academically, they had them work on a simple book report every week in order to start introducing the concept of homework to them, they also used Kindergarten-level math books so my son was already doing addition and subtraction problems in the 12s and 13s by the end of the year. Additionally, my son's reading skills drastically improved while at LAPMS due to the teachers adjusting the reading materials and worksheets to match each child's different reading level. Now, my son has graduated from LAPMS and attends Kindergarten at one of the SRVUSD elementary schools and he whips through the homework assignments and continues to excel in reading. I truly feel that my son's teachers set him up for success for Kindergarten and I am truly grateful for the school. When my son recently ran into his former LAPMS teacher, the teacher embraced my son and was so genuinely happy to see him again. You could just see how much they care about each child. We now have our 2 year old enrolled at LAPMS and after about a month of some tears and a transitioning phase, he also now loves going to school. His 3 teachers also are always so loving, extremely patient and warm individuals. I have never seen them lose their patience even with a room full of toddlers! I also have asked them to adjust our son's napping schedule and they have always been very accommodating and willing to make changes as needed. They also diligently provide updates on diaper changes, nap times and photos of activities throughout the day. Something I also noticed about the LAPMS staff is that I see teachers from other classrooms help in other classrooms as needed even if it's just for a short amount of time and they always do it with a smile. I feel this shows the camaraderie between the staff where they have the same goal to support and care for all students at LAPMS and they do it as a united team. I usually don't post reviews on Yelp but felt compelled to do so for LAPMS because of the very positive experience we've had. Thank you LAPMS Danville staff!

I had the chance to visit their classroom this morning during Parent Observation Week, and it was such a meaningful experience. Watching the children engaged in their Montessori work firsthand really highlighted how thoughtfully the environment is prepared. The classroom felt calm, organized, and full of purpose, and it was wonderful to see how much independence and confidence the children are encouraged to develop. A big thank you to Ms. Esra and the entire team at LAPMS. Your patience, dedication, and care truly make a lasting impact. We're so grateful!

The school itself is small and the facility may look a bit older, but what truly makes it special is the people. Ms. Asmita and Ms. Brogan run the school with so much care and dedication. Ms. Brogan is especially impressive -- thoughtful, efficient, and incredibly professional. She has such a strong presence that you can't help but notice her. Honestly, she could shine anywhere! Our son is in the Honey Bear class, and we couldn't have asked for better teachers -- Ms. Susmita, Ms. Stacy, and Ms. Preetha. They are warm, patient, and genuinely attentive to each child. As parents, we always felt heard and supported, and the communication has been consistently great. The growth we've seen in our son has been amazing. Not just academically, but also in confidence, social skills, and independence. He truly thrived here. As he moves on to TK next semester, it's bittersweet -- we're excited for his next step, but we know he will deeply miss this school and his teachers. Thank you for giving him such a happy and loving start Highly, highly recommend!

With sadness, will have to take away the star. I still love this place. Staff are super nice and…read moreeasy to work with. There are two reasons for the loss of the star: 1) Their schedule isn't the best out of all the daycare options in the area. They don't have quite as many breaks as a normal school, but it comes pretty close. They have several instances where they are closed for several days for teacher training etc. Kindercare, by contrast, is only closed on major work holidays. 2) I have my son here for before and after school care. Or I should say now it is only after school care because he was brought late to school on multiple occasions. I now drop my son off at school personally so he won't be late and had to shift my work schedule to do so. Now, the latter sounds pretty bad, but the people at Acorn really tried hard to get my son to school on time. The issue is that they drop kids off at two different elementary schools in the morning. They can't drop kids off too early for liability reasons and the traffic is bad in the morning around the schools. Hence the late drop-offs (which were only 5 minutes or so). Unfortunately, my school has zero tolerance for tardiness.

At 18 months, my daughters exposure to adults have all been family, however Ms. Mau is the exception at this amazing facility with great teachers. Ms. Mau is very patient, professional, kind, and experienced. Before making a decision to join the Building Kidz family, it put my mind at ease seeing their 18 month teacher Ms.Mau interact and lead the toddlers during a facilities tour. She really embodies the mission and importance of early childhood education. It as only been a week in the classroom but I can see the change a classroom with structured lesson plans make on my daughter. We went from high chair feeding and assisted naps to solo feeds and self soothing nap times. My daughter now looks forward to seeing her teacher Ms. Mau at school. Thank you Ms. Mau for taking this first time worried parent and making the transition painless for my daughter and I. Because of job relocations, we've moved around quite a bit, and this is our fourth daycare. I can say without hesitation that this center has been the most meaningful and reassuring experience we've had. From the moment my children started here at age 3, the sincerity and genuine care shown to them every single day has been nothing short of a gift. Mom guilt is very real, and trusting someone else with your children's hearts, growth, and well-being is no small thing. Knowing my kids are loved, supported, and truly seen when they're here has been a huge stress relief for me. What stands out most is the way the staff partners with parents. Whenever one of my children has needed a little extra encouragement or a gentle push in a certain area, it has never felt one-sided. Instead, we collaborate--sharing strategies, tools, and resources--to support them together. That level of communication, care, and intentionality is rare and incredibly appreciated. My twins are growing not just academically, but emotionally and socially, and I truly believe that's because of the environment this center creates. They feel safe, confident, and excited to learn--and as a parent, that means everything. We are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and love poured into our children every day. Building Kidz of San Ramon has been a constant for our family during a life full of transitions, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to any parent searching for a place where their children will be genuinely cared for.

She learned not only her letters and numbers, but also how to ask questions, express her thoughts clearly, and approach new tasks with confidence and curiosity. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed to make learning fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. Just as important, the school created a nurturing environment that helped her blossom socially. She learned how to make friends, resolve conflicts, share, and work together with others--all key skills she continues to work on and will carry with her for years to come. The administration is well-organized and runs the school very well. One of the things we appreciate most is the emphasis on early learning. The class sizes are small, so he gets a lot of individual attention, which we've really valued. We love the daily updates through their app. It's great to get photos and notes throughout the day, so we know what he's doing and how he's doing.
