It truly feels like they treat each child as if they are their own. They also take them on adventures all around North Beach everyday so they get to experience so much than just a play room. Our kids come home content with big smiles every day. They are also wizards and effortlessly get our little ones to take long naps and eat their vegetables (whereas we struggle with both so much at home!!!). I'm always surprised by all the things my kids have learned from Diana, from using utensils to learning how to write letters--they clearly are on top of things!!! Diana is also really easy to communicate with and is super responsive. We trust them so much and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving environment for their babies and toddlers.

Our first meeting with Diana answered all of our "nervous new-parent" questions and concerns. We left that meeting certain that we had found the right fit for our five-month-old. It was obvious to us that Diana and her team created a loving, caring and safe environment for the children to enjoy. Diana also demonstrated enormous flexibility when it came to dealing with the sometimes unpredictable schedules of working parents. Diana gets it, and sometimes really went the extra mile. Most importantly, Diana saw our daughter (and, I believe, each child) for the individual she is. She ensured age-appropriate development: from tummy time to walking to running to group play to drawing to reading and writing. We felt both safe and fortunate dropping her off with Diana every day. Perhaps most telling, our daughter is now a "graduate" of Diana's Family Daycare, but she and Diana continue their friendship after school and on weekends. As parents, we love the continuing positive influence Diana has on her. If you're looking for a daycare, I highly recommend a chat with Diana.

They go above and beyond every day, from sharing daily photos of the kids to keeping us updated on activities and their milestones. The meals are a huge bonus, they are provided and diverse, helping our little one get exposed to new foods and gets to learn by seeing others eat too. Our little one is constantly engaged with fun, creative activities that make every day exciting. We find ourselves proactively recommending Hungry Caterpillars to friends because it truly feels like a second home for our child, she looks forward to going every day. If you're looking for a nurturing, professional, and fun environment, we can't speak more highly of our experience.

Our child, Benjamin, was initially shy there but Bianca and Bryan has opened up his personality. He loves going there now! What's amazing is the social development our child developed over the past year with them. We do feel it's truly supplemental learning outside of our home. They created an environment that allows our child to thrive over time. We believe this will help transition him smoothly to kindergarten. Overall, Bryan and Bianca is VERY intuitive with monitoring the children. We would always get a detailed conversation with them during pick up time. As a first-time parent, we really appreciate their 110% effort to care for our kiddo.

The location is near Laurel Village, USF, and 1/2 block from Laurel Hill playground. I can't say enough wonderful things about Tia Silvia and her daycare. My best friend's son also went there and introduce us. At first I was nervous about a home daycare, but the setup is perfect and the property is spotless. All the kids have an absolute blast and develop a special bond. There is an fantastic backyard, delicious homemade food is provided, days are filled with thoughtful arts and crafts, incredible birthday parties for every child, holiday party for all the families. My son had extreme separation anxiety and she supported both of us through the process, helped him ween off the pacifier, and potty train when kids are ready. You will get daily pictures and so many thoughtful crafts, hand and fingerprints. We also loved that she communicated in both Spanish and English. Tia Silvia goes above and beyond to love your child. What a relief it was to find a daycare in a great location, at a fair price, that included yummy meals, with good hours, very few scheduled closures, and decades of experience loving on and teaching kiddos. Silvia and her team take exceptional care of each child and we could see how genuine it was everyday by how our daughter responded to each of them. She regularly talked about missing them when she was home for the weekend or holidays. She loved doing the educational craft projects at Silvia's and I loved hanging in them in the house when she brought them home. Silvia also has a way of making every holiday and birthday special for the kids and I always love getting the photos she shares with us throughout the day. In fall of 2022 my daughter moved on to preschool and our 4 month old son took her place. Our daughter was so sad to leave and even a year later everyday at pick-up asks to come to the door to say hello to Silvia and her team. Both our kids have been incredibly happy there and we are grateful to have found such a loving place to watch over them. Very much recommend Silvia's to anyone looking for childcare in the area!

We had our son in the thick of COVID and were nervous about sending him to daycare. His interaction with people outside our home was limited, not to mention the fear of illness at the time. Jiali and her staff made sure we were totally comfortable with their practices, and they are super clean in general. It is a safe and clean space for kids to learn, explore, and remain healthy. When it came time to send our daughter to daycare, it was a no-brainer. We jumped at the available slot and she has been happy and thriving for the last 9 months. She is in her own class with kids in her age group and has made her own friends. The school does a good job of having the siblings find one another at select points in the day but she also has a strong independence which is important as we prepare for our son to leave RHA. If we could keep our son at RHA we 100% would but alas it is time for him to move on so we will hold onto the remaining time our daughter has there, dearly. The friends we've made will be with us for a lifetime, and we give so much credit to Jiali and her staff for all the heart (and sweat) they pour into creating a community for kids and parents alike.

Our daughter started there at 15 months (before the recent upgrade) and just graduated last year. I credit Jiali and the teachers for teaching our daughter how to walk, potty training her, and giving her both discipline and love in a learning environment. We saw huge differences in her manners, social skills and language skills while she was at RHA. We still can't believe how fluent she is in Mandarin given that we don't speak at home. Jiali and the teachers are wonderful and work hard to develop an educational, safe, friendly and clean environment. RHA's community is also amazing. All the families we met were fantastic and some will be our life long friends. We never expected to have such a wonderful community and develop friendships of our own but that is the type of welcoming and healthy environment Jiali and Randy developed over decades of doing this. When I first met Jiali I knew she had a special touch. As a first time mom I was nervous to leave my child anywhere, but the moment I saw Jiali's calm, reassuring, and encouraging energy, I knew it was the perfect place. RHA is also a great place for parents who have two demanding jobs. They have a full time program and provide snacks lunch and early dinner. They do their best to take the kids to the nearby park, have lots of activities, and practice language, writing and even math. My daughter's TK teacher is regularly impressed with how high she can count and clearly spell her name. Being at RHA really set her up for success already. Overall, we can't say enough amazing things about RHA and highly recommend it if you're looking for a safe and loving place to teach your kids about culture, social skills, manners, and prepare for a bright future ahead. Thank you Jiali!! We miss you!!

Her nanny had a baby and we were ready to put our little one in a preschool. We started her at another school and for a month we went through tears (hers and mine), the shrill "mommy mommy mommy" and even nightmares. We assumed this was one of the growing pains that comes when your child starts school. Then we got a call from MCC that they could get her in (off the wait list). MCC was significantly more convenient to our home and was our preferred school so we made the leap. Within days the nightmares stopped, the "mommy mommy" lessened and the crying significantly subsided. Now she actually LIKES going to school and there are days we have to drag her out of there at night saying "Okay, the school is now closing, you have to come home". I think what worked for our kid was that there were more adults to children than her previous school, it's small enough for a kid not to feel overwhelmed, and the teachers are amazing and loving. Since our enrollment several months ago, we feel like we have been welcomed into a family. One that's been around the neighborhood for a long long time, one that cares about the kids and the parents, and one that our child is very comfortable in. Now if only MCC could make my child a morning person so the 7am wakeups are a little more smooth... Thanks MCC!
