The food is so unique and fresh! I had the ahi tuna and the veggies were so savory. My friend had the tempera veggie roll with spicy mayo and it was mouth watering. They also have an extensive martini list for those that like fun little drinks It has a really romantic vibe with the low lighting and cushy seating - definitely great for dates and special occasions. The service is always really friendly and vigilant. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy an evening in the central Johnson City area. Plus, you could also do some bowling or shop at Target across the street after. Can't miss it!!

Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and our food came out promptly. The highlight of the meal was the Sakura sushi roll special, featuring vibrant pink rice wrapped in rice paper with tempura shrimp, crab, caviar, asparagus, and carrots. It was as delicious as it was beautiful! We also tried the miso soup with salmon, which was flavorful, hearty, and surprisingly filling. I would especially recommend it as an appetizer if you're only ordering a sushi roll for your entrée. The sweet and sour chicken with mango and pineapple was less impressive. Although I enjoyed the combination of fruit and vegetables, the dish was overly oily, which detracted from the flavors. Overall, Cafe One 11 offers a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and some creative sushi options. I'd happily return to try more of their rolls!

I ordered the chicken biscuit with goat cheese and pepper jelly and it was delicious. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and he said the gravy was some of the best he's ever had. The biscuits are so tender and flaky. My daughter ordered chocolate chip waffles with strawberries and said they were really good but she regretted not ordering some kind of biscuit. An employee was circulating with full-sized, free cinnamon biscuits to try too! We'll definitely be back.

The workers have always been pleasant and efficient (and I quite prefer the new owners, as Mrs. Bunn was rude to me). Perfect coffee every time I order it. Also, such a neat, eclectic space with an impressive variety of coffee-related gift choices. I'm so happy they have stayed open (and consistent) for so many years.

Our order totaling $48.00 was anticipated to meet expectations; however, Brandon's pizza was not gluten-free as we ordered. Although Luigi's noted a potential discrepancy with an additional $2.00 charge, which we accepted given the value, their refusal to correct the issue was unsatisfactory. We had already arrived at home with our grandchildren and ask them to deliver it. Located further down south Roan St., it's in a strip mall filled with thrift shops, bookstores, and a couple ministries. There is plenty of paved parking, all across a traffic lane adjacent to the building. There is a handicapped space close to the door. For those familiar with the area, this is the old La Perla site. The interior is bright and clean. The seating is a mix of tables and booths, with booths against the wall as well as free-standing. There is also a small grocery area on the left as you enter, just after the cashier station. We were told to sit anywhere on entering and our server (owner) came by in a minute with chips and salsa and menus. She also took our drink order. She brought the drinks back quickly and gave us additional time to make our selections. The menu is rather large and has typical items as well as uniquely Oaxacan items. The descriptions are generally detailed and our server readily answered any questions we had. Once we made our selections we waited no more than 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The fresh made salsa is very good. There is a slight amount of heat and the flavors are wonderful. The Tacos Dorados are similar to full size taquenos, filled with chicken and topped with cabbage and cheese. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. The overall dish was quite good and adding the salsa made it spectacular. The Torta Cubana is huge. The sandwich is at least three inches thick. All the components were fresh and very flavorful on their own and when combined in the torta made for a very good meal. I was only able to finish half and cannot wait to have the rest. My dining partner and I were very impressed and will definitely be back. This is a great addition to the south Roan St. area.
