One of the most basic things is guest service - the beginning interaction, the overall continued guest service while they're in your shop and the lasting impression that will be the deciding factor if someone will come back or not. I brought my family in and on a slower evening, mind you there were only (2) tables with (2) ppl at each table already painting their pottery. We walk in and the two girls at the register didn't bother to make eye contact, greet us, get up off their bums and ask us how our evening was... let alone helping us get started. They were more concerned about their personal conversation than working for the money the owners are paying them. Then basically they had to pry themselves out of their seats to get us paint... still no smiles, advice or anything. While we were painting they stopped at NO tables to ask if We needed anything or had questions. They just continued their personal conversations. Correct me if I'm wrong but they're there for the guests, not themselves. I can only hope they're better than that otherwise ownership really needs to take a closer look at who they let run their business. This is the first time and last time we will come back after spending almost $200 that night. It has a lot of potential to be a fun place to come and hangout but with employees like that, it was a turnoff immediately. I would've immediately turned around and walked out if it wasn't for me coming into town for a week to specifically spend time with my family while I was in town for a short time. But I was embarrassed I brought them there and we were treated or should I say ignored almost the entire Time we were there. When they wrapped up our session, again there was no smiling, zero personality and no cause to want to come back and spend more money. Debating if 2 stars is too much. Disappointing...

Love this place! I have been to a few different painting places and I have to say this one has the…read moremost pieces to choose from to paint which I love! It's very nicely set up, the staff is friendly and welcoming and it's overall a great vibe! We walked in and were given a table but soon enough they had to start turning people away so I would suggest a reservation on the weekends! It is pretty pricey but I'm okay with that for the experience and atmosphere there :) I painted a vase and my daughter painted a corgi and it was $100 before tax. There is a sitting fee for each person painting and then you choose your piece you want to paint which has its own price tag. There is so much to choose from I am sure anyone can find something in their budget! I personally really like the way they provide paint cups of the 5 colors you choose ( I think if you asked nicely they might let you have another color if you started painting and realized you needed another color). So it's not like we need painting trays or anything like at other paint studios! I can't wait to pick up our pieces after the glazing! We will be back to paint more treasures!

After weeks of going thru this my granddaughter finally got her piece they also said that if you don't pick up your piece by seven days, they throw it out . Their pottery is more unusual and the results are stunning. We painted a plate, a tile and some Halloween decorations and it was a good enough price. We went before the new owners began and it was fine but I like the chill vibe of the current ones even more. Also a shop next store where I found some wonderful earrings.
