I'm 30 and still enjoyed it very much! It's not very big but they have a nice set up. They have food and drinks. They have a game section. They keep their floor nice. They have nice employees. Some of their skates seem outdated, we have been missing insoles and laces too short. You can take them back up to the counter and they will happily replace them though. They can sometimes do "glow skate" for a little longer than my family enjoys. It hasn't been like that every time, so I'm not sure how long it's supposed to be. I don't mind skating in the dark a little but for an hour is too long for me. Even my kids were complaining that particular visit. Overall it's a pleasant family oriented place.

Ok, I have a very mixed review of this business…read more First, I haven't been here for years! What I remember from my previous visit was that it was dark, dirty and smelled bad. THAT has all changed. The new owners have cleaned it up, lightened it up and really done a nice job of renewing what once was a very tired skate rink. To me that gives it five stars. So, here is what took away stars for me. - one star for price. You have to pay $4.00 just to enter the door. Doesn't matter if you are not going to skate or not. However, I do at least understand that this policy keeps people (teens and kids especially) from just coming in to "hang out" with friends without having any real direction or purpose which could easily dissolve into unruly behavior. This policy has a logical reason for being in place. - two stars for a very illogical policy. Families with young children beware. No matter your child's age, if they can walk, they MUST pay for and wear skates while in the building. Seriously! My three year old had to pay $6.00 ($4.00 to enter and $2.00 for skates) just to be in the building. While I was there I talked with another mother whose sister-in-law's ONE YEAR OLD had to pay for and wear skates while in the building. That is so completely illogical I can only sit here and shake my head. I would love to give this business four stars for the great job they have done on their improvements, but I just can't consider them family friendly. I really hope they will reconsider their policy and make a change.

The parking lot is gravel with enough space for 3-4 cars. The drive goes around the building and has grass growing on it. We get there at 6:50, one kid is already waiting outside. We wait til 7. By 7, a few kids are dropped off and a few parents are waiting in their cars with the kids. One of the parents message the owner on Facebook (I think). A few minutes later, she gets a response of "we decided to go to baconfest instead". No note on the door, not update on Facebook (which hadn't been updated in almost a year either, btw) no post on their website, nothing. Obviously they hadn't told anyone besides employees because the kids that were waiting seemed like regulars for the rink. We had drove 45 minutes and paid for dinner out to come to this rink so I was a little pissed.
