This morning was the last straw for me as they had me come in at 730 am after fasting for blood work only to have a nurse tell me they cancelled my appointment and handed me a " DISMISSAL LETTER " after going to them for over 20 years because I tested positive for marijuana that I use medicinally for my PTSD ..... yes you read that right . I had a medical problem and made an appointment on Thursday for the following week. It got worse on Saturday, so I went to the emergency room, was admitted to the hospital and missed the appointment. Now, they want to charge me for missing the appointment. I explained my situation to the front desk attendant. I got no follow-up. I called the business office. A machine answered the phone. They call you back. Hasn't happened yet. The customer service is terrible. They should be ashamed of the way they treat people. I don't recommend them.

I decide to get an X-ray, with a referral from Erramilli. Her office calls to let me know they don't like what they see and want me to get a CT scan. That comes back, again they don't like. After visiting a pulmonologist and having a biopsy I am told that I have Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Her negligence in diagnosing my ailment is one thing, along with the lost time, they never once followed up after my CT scan. This Dr was negligent with my care and the office doesn't seem to care once you leave. I am now done with my 7th chemo treatment and if I survive it will be in spite of Dr Erramilli.

The Doctor called after 2 weeks and asked me to come to the hospital to collect the reports. I alone went and collected the reports for me and my wife. After a month we see a surprise multiple bills from this provider 1. Bill for Annual physicals for both me and my wife 2. Billed me and my wife for my office visit for collecting the reports. Issues: The Annual Physicals are paid by Insurance. Upon inquiring found that the hospital has used wrong Tax ID and found they were out of out network. Infact, if they have used the right tax id. This would have been resolved. But there billing department never listens and always ask us to the pay the bill but never tried to resolve this issue with the insurance. 2. The doctor called herself and when I alone visited the hsptl to collect reports., Why am i being charged? Why My wife who didn't even come to the hospital was charged? The billing department just asks for payment and isn't trying to listen or resolves the issue. I wouldn't encourage this provider at all.

He was right and I saved a TON on medicines I'd been prescribed by other doctors before that just did not work, so I left them. I've been seeing Dr. Deutsch for years now, and I am absolutely delighted with his on-target diagnosis for this, and for other things. His staff is delightful! Don't be turned off because the office is not beautiful; the service and TOP NOTCH medicine and bedside manner practiced here MORE than make up for it. He also volunteers his vacation time to treat poor folks living on indian reservations. Good man, excellent doctor, knowledgeable and kind staff. Lucky me to find them. Had to share!

Did not recognize dramatic increase in patient's PSA within a short period of time. Did not repeat PSA in timely fashion, did not offer prescription for medication of any type, did not provide a referral to urologist. Negligence resulted in patient's diagnosis of advanced Stage 4 prostate cancer, ending in premature death. More upsetting was the manner in which Dr. Stovall skirted the issue and saw no wrong-doing on his part.

Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. I had been sick for a couple of weeks with the Flu then a head cold and bronchitis. I thought I could beat it on my own, but a sinus infection finally got the best of me. Their excellent staff was as efficient as ever and I was shown into an exam room right at my appointment time. Dr. Sharpe did a through exam, and best of all, he listened to my story of fighting the cold/flu and ALL my symptoms. One thing that really bugs me are doctors who are too busy to listen to their patients. It may be simple to them, but it's not so simple to the suffering. As I said, Dr. Sharpe did a great job, and now two days later, I am well on the road to recovery. I give Dr. Sharpe two thumbs up. If you are looking for family healthcare that is efficient, knowledgeable, and best of all, caring, then I highly recommend Eastside Family Medicine. They are simply the best.
