They have charged me for a full on Endoscopy procedure at my first visit/initial consult, which was about 5-7 minutes in the room with the doctor. I've filed a dispute with my insurance and Northeast Atlanta ENT and after asking to speak to "Dr." Carmichael directly there has been no return call and I just received a letter from a collection agency. I'm curious if anyone else out there has been charged fraudulently by this practice like me. I hope this brings awareness to save someone else a major headache and it's very doubtful that i'm the only one they've done this to.

After this charge was acknowledged by your claim specialist the next day, I never heard back from, her as she said that she would call me. I left 9 voice-mails and never heard back. In the mean time I do receive bills and a final notice that they are sending to collections. Note: I had paid $375 on my appointment day. I was also more than happy to pay what I had agreed to. Not this arbitrary amount. I am very very upset that I had no choice but to pay this in order to protect my excellent credit. I will continue to find as many social media outlets as possible to share my experience. This behavior and unacceptable business practice must stop.
