We have seen his brother for one visit. Both are good. Dr. Neil Groff has a more lighthearted, chummier bedside manner than his brother. That isn't to say that one style or personality is "better" necessarily - I just mention this so you will know which is better for you or your patient. Dr. Groff and his office have always been very accommodating to questions and concerns. The office accepts Medicare. The waiting room is pleasant and has patients from childhood through geriatric. There is not a 'Sick Child' section of the waiting room. There is a child's table but no toys, so bring your own or a coloring book & crayons. There is a large flat screen TV that usually has a Disney animated movie showing. On some days, Dr Marc Unterman, a cardiologist whose office is in Lawrenceville-sees patients at Dr Groff's Loganville office. This is very convenient! The office is also easy to find. Going east on 78, turn left on Lee Byrd Road, and turn into the small office complex on your right, just after the credit union. The doctor's office is on the right. If you need to drop off a FedEx package, there is a drop-off box in the rear of the parking lot.

If you are in a hurry to breeze in and out, this is not the place for you. Go to one of those other doctors who barely looks at you and spends a very minimal amount of time assessing your symptoms. If you want quality care with a truly wonderful doctor, go see Neil Groff. I now have ALL of my family members going to him, and all are very pleased with him. So sad that some people complain about his practice and the wait time. He has a vested interest in each of his patients. He calls back with lab results as soon as they are in. He is a rare treasure!

Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. I had been sick for a couple of weeks with the Flu then a head cold and bronchitis. I thought I could beat it on my own, but a sinus infection finally got the best of me. Their excellent staff was as efficient as ever and I was shown into an exam room right at my appointment time. Dr. Sharpe did a through exam, and best of all, he listened to my story of fighting the cold/flu and ALL my symptoms. One thing that really bugs me are doctors who are too busy to listen to their patients. It may be simple to them, but it's not so simple to the suffering. As I said, Dr. Sharpe did a great job, and now two days later, I am well on the road to recovery. I give Dr. Sharpe two thumbs up. If you are looking for family healthcare that is efficient, knowledgeable, and best of all, caring, then I highly recommend Eastside Family Medicine. They are simply the best.

While in the waiting room, I over heard that Melissa only had a few weeks left at this practice, I went to the receptionist to ask for contact info so we could follow Melissa she said "we just ran out" i then became suspicious and found out that she was no longer working with Dr Fields office and they're not letting any of her clients know. They are making it seem like she's just out sick or something not that seems moved on. A Doctors office without integrity is no doctor I would want to see! I have been a patient of Dr. Gupta's for a couple consecutive years, and had no issues until I had…read morea lapse in insurance coverage. I had an appointment for a med review, for a medication she'd been prescribing me for 2yrs (again- being a patient of 2-3yrs), and I wasn't seen because I wasn't able to cover the office visit. Fair enough, but I needed a refill on my Rx (the one that I'd been on for at least 2yrs), and she would only authorize a refill for 1/2 month. I wasn't able to get my meds afterwards, because I couldn't pay for an office visit, and she wouldn't prescribe them. I'm not referring to a controlled substance. Just regular antidepressants. Fast forward almost a year later, when I have insurance; I contacted her office for an appointment, and was advised that I had to go online to complete documentation to determine whether she would take me as a patient. Her primary concern is her copay, not the well-being of her patients. I'm so disgusted by and frustrated with her. Today, I contacted her office, to see if I could return (because finding a mental health professional is difficult, once you've developed a relationship). She proceeded to argue with me about why I'd stopped seeing her. I began seeing another provider just over a month ago. Prior to then, I wasn't being treated at all. Gupta insisted that I'd been under another doctor's care, when that wasn't true, until I was informed that she wouldn't take me as a patient, just recently. I wasn't being treated at all, for almost a year. Being a mental health professional, I would think that she would be concerned with the psychological state of her patients. Instead, I was so frustrated, and brought to tears, after talking with her. She's a pill- pusher who doesn't give a damn about the mental health of her patients (current or past). I would discourage anyone from seeking services from her. If you are in need, you may not be able to rely on any assistance from her.

All I ever got from neurologists was "why? it's cheap and it works" or "it's already the lowest dose, you can't taper off". And I needed blood work done. He took me seriously, acknowledged what I wanted to do with my own body (this is not fatal, annoying more than anything else). He helped me taper off the drug and sent me to a hematologist (who also was wonderful). If you have RLS or PLMD and need help managing it, he's the expert to go to.
