    I contacted Quality Blind and Awning spoke to answering…read moreservice She said she would have Alan call me Received call from Alan He said he would be at his office at 10AM next day. My wife and l struggled to get canopy frame that we wanted removed in to my handicapped van we then Drove to Asheboro to meet with Alan we introduced ourselves. The meeting went a expected basally a nice experience. We showed him canopy and explained that the original valance was ripe off by wind we then gave Alan a picture of the valance we wanted.  We also wanted the existing canvas recovered because of some slate fading plus being stained from over hanging trees. After 20 years being outside in sun ,rain and other elements. Alan committed it was amazing that canvas was still in place and tight as it was. Alan gave us a price which we thought was high but did not complain or ague.  Alan said it would take 3 weeks because his sewer was on vacation.  We waited over a month and place many calls and much text with no response. Finally Alan texted me and said he bringing  the canopy when he got there the first thing I notice was no valance  the work was very poor to say the lest there was wrinkles  in canvas and the green drive lacing was standing up  on all four corners.  Alan  could see it was not right and he assured me that he would send his crew out to fix all issues he ask to be paid and I paid him the agreed on price.  I made a Big Mistake!! Made many call to Alan no response from Alan. So then I left a message with answering service for to give to Alan telling him I was tired of you look back at the number of weeks that has passed with no explanation you are business I just what you to answer by the phone or respond to my text is that too much to ask. If this job was above your capacities and not your normal making awnings then you should have said so and told us to find someone else. I not being unreasonable but this is getting old. A business man would be glad to answer the phone after all it could be a sunroom or a big job that big money's could be made.  Alan finally came he said there was nothing he could do about the wrinkle in the fabric or lasing. I said to Alan If thisis the best you can do I will find someone else, I didn't ask for my money backjust told him the work was unacceptable. I then you know the original canopy was tight as a drum and he know that was true because he took canvas off it was tight as a drum and he know that was true because he took canvas off. Alan said he was third of the hull deal.  So in a mad huff he asks what do want me to do give it to for free. I said you know this poor work I'm tired of it also. He pulled out wallet and he gave money back but ripped the canvas off leaving staple exposed the frame in a mess.     This is my new awning. It was installed by Alan Pugh of Quality Blind and Awning of Asheboro, NC…read more It was supposed to be installed at the latest June 9. It wasn't and Alan didn't call about the delay. I called him. He put me off several more weeks. Then I had to fight to get an installation date. This is what was installed. I was waiting for Alan to come for final payment to show him and never heard from him. So I texted pics and explained I'm unhappy. He said he had to call the installer. I messaged him the next day and he still hadn't spoken to the installer. Then he says he will relace this week. He will call me the night before he comes. So essentially I was to keep my week clear or cancel when he decided to come. Well didn't matter because that week is this week and today is Thursday and I never heard from Alan. So I text him my displeasure this morning and told him I was going public and getting help from the BBB. He immediately called ( ) and I said I am a very mad customer and his treatment of us is not okay. He said "Dont be an ass". So I hung up on him. I was shocked that after all the extensions and all his poor communication that he'd call and cuss me. Then he text he's giving me my deposit back and taking the awning. Except he can't replace the awning that was already here AND they caulked it to my freshly painted house. I am at my wits end with this guy.
