It appears the entire staff has changed and with it the warm vibe. The last few weeks my kids have just been swimming back and forth across the lane without much demonstration or apparent guidance from the staff, whether it has been one or two trainers in their lane. The trainers also used to interact warmly with the kids while in the water (or out), now the trainers look bored and interact with the kids minimally and without the same enthusiasm. It is the same facility, but the staff that made it such a wonderful place are gone. My children have always loved their trainers and now have nothing to say about them. I think it is time for us to start looking for a new place for swim lessons.

It was a complete refresher course without missing anything. The products in stock were substantial. I needed a new mask and snorkel. I was amazed that when he saw my goggles were not good, he just said that I should replace them. Not once did he mention buying from them. I did check prices on the internet. I could not find a lower price for the mask and snorkel. Looking forward to scuba diving, again.

Management has changed recently, and the front office seems to be running more smoothly now (although I wasn't unhappy before). Teacher turnover is probably typical for daycare centers. My children's teachers have changed a few times in the last year. But I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, since they will have numerous different teachers once they start elementary school. If I had one complaint it would be location. I like that they aren't located right on a busy road, but there is an auto repair center right next door, which creates some environmental/air quality concerns. No fluffy pretense, just straightforward and positive attitudes across the board. Effective leadership + excellent teachers = outstanding program. Despite all this, we were nervous our first few weeks as we were leaving our nearly 2-year-old son with strangers for the first time. We called on the first day and Paul (owner) answered the phone and put us at ease. He offered to walk down and take a look for us, and said that our son was playing - laughing, even. He said to call whenever we were concerned. We did, and each time our boy was either having fun or napping. (Incredible!) Once, getting the feeling that maybe Paul was exaggerating a little to make us feel better, I came early to pick up our boy. It was no exaggeration - he was having a ball.
