Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this school!! The first day that my 4 year-old son…read moreattended the school, he came home happy, cheerful, and proud to be a student of "Montessori school." He felt safe, included, and confident as a new little learner in his classroom. His enthusiasm and interest to learn and explore new things grows everyday. I cannot thank enough his teachers for guiding and encouraging him to learn and explore new things in school. I found everyone working in this school, right from the administrators to the teachers, to be caring, dedicated and compassionate individuals who love working with children. They work tirelessly to support and guide them in order to help them gain meaningful knowledge at their own pace. In short, this school is a hidden gem tucked away in North Aurora road and all parents who want their children to experience authentic Montessori method of learning in a school, should definitely visit and explore this school. I only wish their organization had a prominent website that was solely dedicated to the school and shared their curriculum, vision and mission. Had there been a proper website of this school instead of the "montessori unlimited", we would have enrolled our son long ago when he was 3; we learned about this school from a friend and I'm so glad we visited them soon after. Thus, a prominent website and/or a strong presence in social media will, I strongly believe, help many more families to be aware of this wonderful school that provides authentic Montessori learning experience to children.

We need to constantly ask for updates regarding meals , nap time , etc. One occasion a pick up my soon earlier than usual and one of the assistants was correcting inappropriately around other kids (after talking to him and a different teacher we find out that what he was getting scream at was nothing wrong), the director address the issue immediately but regardless the bad experience can't go away. I don't fee they understand kids sometimes need to be kids. Our previous school was a Montessori as well but was Amazing. As a parent I believe we pay enough for situations like this not to happen.

Not only was he incredibly well prepared to start school in IPSD 204 from an academic standpoint, but also socially and emotionally. The school is very well run - with top notch communication and a staff of talented, caring teachers. The staff put on regular education nights for parents, and with no judgment, really helped me identify how to be the best mom I can be. While in the Kindergarten program, our son was asked to be a leader in the classroom and take on more responsibilities. It was so wonderful to watch him thrive and be cared for by an entire staff of smart, devoted, and empathetic women. Thank you so much, MCG, for giving our son the best start! I can't help but wonder how wonderful the world would be if every child got this kind of start. MCG is truly a special place!

As soon as we toured MCG I knew this was the place for us and it is honestly one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our kids grew their love of learning in a supportive and loving environment. Each and every teacher and staff member was amazing. Our children were given opportunities to grow and develop academically and social-emotionally. When they started attending public school, each of my children was ahead academically. One of our boys can be a bit rigid and challenging, and his teacher Ms. Jennie worked with him so well that he soared academically and behaviorally. Their hours are good for working parents and they even have fun summer programs.

This is not a traditional school, they allow children to make mistakes and encourage them to find the answers. They support the children in learning how to communicate with each other in addition to teaching beyond educational standards in arithmetic, writing language science and so on. My children left Montessori and felt that the public schools were not able to keep pace with what they learned through these programs. They have both expressed that their public school experience is socially disappointing because the students are often unkind and treat each other with disrespect. While my children were encouraged to help peers there public student peers are often concerned with shaming and putting peers who are different than themselves down. Fox Valley Montessori taught my children that learning is fun, that curiosity is a value. My children learned to be respectful, they learned how to manage their work and it is serving them quite well in high school as they manage their time for finals and AP classes. This is not a traditional school, it is so much more, this school teaches your child what community is. Their Montessori education has prepared them far better than I could have imagined and I cannot recommend this school enough.

If you're seeking an accredited Montessori program that truly understands and nurtures the whole child--mind, heart, and spirit--FVMS is the best choice in the area. We couldn't be more thrilled with the foundation the school is offering our girls!

They're warm, nurturing, and clearly have a special gift with children--our son absolutely loves going each day. The communication is exceptional. Through the Procare app, we receive regular, thoughtful updates about meals, naps, and the fun, educational activities our son is doing. It gives us such peace of mind to feel so connected and informed throughout the day. What stands out most is how genuinely child-centered and honest the entire team is. On a day when our son wasn't feeling well, Hayley, the owner, called us immediately--not out of obligation, but out of genuine care. She treats our son, and our family, as if we were her own. That level of personal attention and kindness is rare. The facility itself is beautiful--brand new, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with kids' comfort and development in mind. If you're looking for a daycare that truly has it all--loving caregivers, engaging activities, healthy meals, age-appropriate nap spaces, and a deep commitment to your child's well-being--this is the place.
