Never received my order, custom service stopped responding and when they were responding it was completely useless.

I had wanted to support a small business instead of ordering from a large eCommerce site. I ordered 2 swim caps from the Swim Quik web site. The order never arrived and when I wrote to request for a status, I had no reply despite writing a few times. Then I gave up and asked for a refund, I also had no reply back. I called the customer service number but the number has gone dead. I can't do a dispute chargeback since I had paid by debit card. I'm now out my money with no product and no recourse. Has Swim Quik gone out of business??!?? read more

Update: The owner finally contacted me, and I was offered a refund after 5 minutes of arguing. This is not a customer-service oriented business - purchase at your own risk. This is the worst retail experience I've ever had. I placed an order online 5/15 for two swim team suits. I emailed customer service 5/29 to see if they were in, was told they were and I visited the store. I showed up 6/1 to find the suits were not in, despite being told they were. Requested to be contacted when the suits arrived. After waiting another week, I called and learned one suit was in, and one wasn't - NO ONE CALLED ME. Swimquik insisted the other suit was given to the swim team even though the order was placed outside the swim team order, and I had requested store pick-up. The team never received the suit, and Swimquik placed another order because they lost it - no apologies were offered. I asked for a refund for the delay and the disorganized customer service and was told no. I requested to speak with the manager, and learned I was dealing with the manager. The associates I deal with were extremely unprofessional and rude, and have no experience managing customer service issues. Someone should've contacted me after my 2nd unsatisfactory visit into the store, and offered a discount or other restitution for my experience. read more

Customer service??? I've been trying to reach this store since Thursday regarding a a $60 order for one swimsuit my daughter had to buy here for her high school team. I called and the person on the phone couldn't help me, but assured me the person who could help me would me call back in an hour or so. I waited and then got extremely busy at work and realized I didn't get a call back to them before they closed. I decided to email after hours thinking for sure someone would respond to their customer service email account. Still nothing. It's now Sunday and a holiday and I've not had time to actually drive to the store to get an answer so I still wait. This store is expensive so you would expect service to be top notch to keep people coming back. read more

I haven't been to this store in a while since relocating and was in a crunch to pick up a new black bikini top. We had a last minute trip come up. Ran in and got a black top on 4/25. 1- trip didn't occur 2- black top didn't match black bottoms I already had a home 3- no return policy listed anywhere on the receipt or mentioned by the lady at the register during checkout. Tried to make a return 3 business days later (today 4/30) and was told no. I understand not being able to return a suit that was worn, but this is a top that was tried on by me once. Tags still attached. [Took a look around and even Swimwear Solutions has a return policy for store credit w/in a certain time frame] I now have a $50 swimsuit top I will be donating to goodwill with the tags on and I will no longer shop at SwimQuik as the customer service was less than desirable today. read more

Terrible customer service. We have gone to SwimQuik for about seven years. Not a fan of the new ownership. I purchased both a swim team suit and a new pair of goggles from Swim Quik. The particular pair of googles (vanquisher) was highly recommended by the owner and staff person. About two weeks later, the googles broke at the plastic nose piece for seemingly no reason. We took them back to the store and showed them what had happened, indicating we thought this was a manufacturer's defect. The staff person said they had no way of knowing whether the goggles had been stepped on or broken in some other way. She (and the owner) refused to do anything to help--no refund, discounted new pair, etc. By investing a few dollars in a long-term customer, they could have sent us away feeling good. Instead, they alienated a long-term customer for life. I recommend going to Scheel's. They carry team suits and goggles and have much better customer service! read more

We have been ordering through Swim Quik for over 10 years. They have recently come under new ownership and suddenly our teams swim suits have arrived a week behind schedule, not to mention that half of the suits weren't even in the package we received late. Swim Quik has rapidly declined in customer service and responsiveness in general. This may just be a temporary hiccup in service, however due to the way they have dealt with our order and all the issues that have come from it, we will not be using Swim Quik in the future. read more

Very poor service here. We ordered swim shirts for a club that has an arrangement with Swim Quik trusting that with that arrangement there would be even minimal service. Despite this, and after more than 99 days of waiting and multiple calls asking of status updates, nothing provided and no clear answer on timing. Had to cancel the order only to receive exactly what we ordered from a competitor in a matter of days. And ... this wasn't the first poor experience here. There are plenty of adequate competitors that we have no reason to return to Swim quik. read more

They have a good selection of swim wear, lots of mix n match suits. They had suits for women of all shapes & sizes. The sales lady was very friendly and helpful. I definitely would go back. Only negative is all sales are final, no returns or exchanges. read more

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They know the products in their store. They will offer suggestions, but they are not pushy.

I typically prefer local business over big chains but in this case never again. Very bad business. Bought a pair of Speedo trunks for a pool party for my kid. Came to the party, put on the swim shorts, and found out they were defective (the band was completely stretched out). Brought them back, and they (I think her name is Jamie) refused to take them back, she called the owner, and then said that all sales are final. She then proceeded to tell me how she check all of their merchandise before putting it out on the floor, and before selling it, implying that we stretched the trunk ourselves. Refused to take any responsibility, was very rude, and condescending. Note, that we called the store the very moment we discovered that the trunks were defective (which was only a few hours after we bought them), and the person on the phone said (lied) they'd take them back. I made sure I told all the parents at the party what happened. read more

UGH!!!! I just got off the phone with a gentleman at Swim Quik regarding the trunks I had ordered for my son's swim team on 5/15 that we still have not received. My son has a swim meet tonight and I was told by the gentleman I spoke with that he should receive them today and that the reason they are late is because I ordered them at 7:45 PM on the day of the cutoff and he placed the order at 5:00. No apology not even a simple "I'm sorry". Although he did say I could drive over and pick them up and then use them tonight and he would let me bring them back to be embroidered because technically I had ordered before the deadline. Seriously! it is 11:35, what are the chances he is going to get them in today, and if he does, what is the chance he is going to call me like he said he would. Ugh! Looks like we won't be wearing our swim trunks tonight. The worst customer service I have received TODAY!!! read more
