I had been wanting to try swig since I saw it on the "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" and when I found out San Antonio had two locations, it was meant to be. I will say where this one is located it's a bit hidden and hard to find at first. There's a lot of construction going on right now, so I don't blame them. The two young women who helped me were very nice, one of them in particular told me about their popular items. I decided on the "Texas Tab" which consists of Dr. Pepper, vanilla and coconut! Decided to try these drinks as recommend by my family and they were pretty good! They had a good mix of drinks and they were all flavorful and yummy! Let me tell you about Swig! Upon arriving on their opening weekend there was a long line however with traffic control and their efficiency the line moved very fast! The staff was very friendly, inviting and with the plenty of options Swig has to offer from Dirty Soda, Mixed Energy drink and frozen drinks what helped me decide is when one of the staff member suggested to choose the drink you like and go off the flavors you enjoy! With that, I tried the Cherry Bomb, Pepsi infused with cherry, coconut and vanilla cream was a real good treat and my wife ordered the Island Time which was very refreshing had Fresca infused Passion Fruit, Orange, Mango Purée and Coconut Cream was refreshing great for the South Texas Heat once summer comes around! Grand opening and the line was LONG, but it moved really quickly. All of the employees I interacted with were incredibly friendly. I got a free cup of cookies and a free 24 ounce drink - sadly no pretzel bites today, but they said they will have them Monday. The cookies were cold - not sure if that's how they come or if it's due to the grand opening & having to mass bake then store them. Either way the flavor was good. I ordered a root beer with vanilla cream and it had a lot more flavor than other drink places that offer the same. I'll definitely be back when I can go inside to sit down and try the pretzel bites with cheese. read more

This place is a must try! They have many drink options. Sodas, sparkling waters, and some teas. They have their own creations or you can create your own. Mango breeze sparkling water was refreshing and has small mango pieces! The flounder has a delicious coconut flavor! The lines were long but they were very organized so we did not wait long. they were also giving away cookies! The cookies were great and each container had about 5-6 chocolate chip cookies. My son, husband, and I tried swig out and each got different drink combinations. Mine was custom and the guys each had a premade combo. My son had the DDD (diet Dr p and coconut) and said it was better than any sonic combo. My concoction was Diet Pepsi , sf coconut, sf vanilla. My husband had a save me jade (diet Dr Pepper, sf vanilla, sf coconut). We all love that there are so many options of soda - especially that they offer both Coke and Pepsi products because we like both. The variety of sugar free options is a major bonus because we count our calories. I can't wait to go back and try more concoctions and their snacks! First stop review. Ambiance reminds me of Dutch Brothers with the employees taking the orders in the drive thru line with music like Kesha playing on the speakers. Two drive thru lanes made the service go quickly. Menu is varied with a lot of options, or you can create your own concoction. Think a better version of Sonic's drink customization. We got The Founder, Just Peachy and Buttery Beer. All three were delicious, but...the buttery beer was FANTASTIC. Harry Potter fans rejoice. We will for sure be back. read more

Like this place. Usually get a couple of drinks and the pretzel bites with white cheddar cheese. Staff is always kind and usually pretty quick. This location is a drive through, so not much on the environment. Taking a star off for tipping. When we drove up, an employee walked out of the door and approached the car. She was very kind and when I went to pay, of course there was an option to tip. It's a soda shop drive thru... the interaction with staff was less than 3 minutes. That's fine, I can leave a tip, but when pulling up to the window, there was two more tip cups taped to the window with the names of each employee written on them. The drinks were amazing , I love their creations of cream sodas and their energy boost drinks . Service was very fast , and energetic staff . Only one issue I had , mind you these were free items. To be the frank their mini cookies were good but needs to be a little more cooked. Was very doughy and too soft. Other than that I'll still come here to try more of their sodas read more
