There's no direct access from the road, you have to maneuver around the building and enter from the side opposite the main road. It appears that another entrance is planned, but a temporary concrete barrier prevents it from being used until it's fully developed. So that's a challenge-one that will be resolved as the area grows and fills in. The other challenge was the customer service. There were two young ladies working there and neither of them greeting us when we entered. (It's a small enough space, and we were the only customers. It just felt awkward to walk in and start browsing while she just watched us.) When we checked out, I attempted friendly small talk and it fell flat. She wasn't rude, just not the friendly personality I'd hope to find in a local, small business. Otherwise, it's a great place and I'm sure my sweet tooth will guide me back again!

Yes, I repeat, we have coolers here, finally, about time, and I will hasten to add the selection of this store is such that I no longer feel compelled to drive to Wendover every time I want to experience a real liquor store. This one has regained its former glory and in spades and is an absolute pleasure to wander through. With the change to how beer is dispensed in the state, this is now mostly a wine store, with liquor lining the back walls, but there is a hearty selection of more boutique beers and that is the good move. Save your head space and just go to Fort Union State Liquor Store, Murray, or even Sandy. The place is small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing - just has limited selection, but most of the stock is behind the service counter, so you have to interact with the staff member to pick stuff out...and it's tough when you can't really see the label and the staff member doesn't want to give you the time of day, so you end up getting a sour wheat ale that is just too punchy for your tastes (well, at least mine!) without the social structures to request something different. Anyway, if you're desperate, sure I could see coming here, but it's tucked into old Midvale, so it's not the easiest to get to unless you live nearby. Seriously, Fort Union with its multiple lanes: you can get there in a similar amount of time and it's got a much broader and accessible selection.
