The drive-thru is an atrocity. It's horribly inefficient and the barbaric owner makes the workers stand outside in the elements. Are they really not aware of the inventions of the microfone and the speaker? It's scorching hot outside and some hourly worker is standing around, sweating, taking orders when society has tech to assist with remote order taking. This location is to be avoided at all costs. Swig decided to be petty and do $1 drinks everyday once the fiiz opened across the street but honestly it's worth going anywhere else to avoid the slow moving line of 50 cars that's there at all hours. The drive thru is poorly set up. There are 2 ways to enter the drive thru. One side has a sign saying to enter here, but the other side says nothing (even when the workers and regulars know that it's the incorrect side to enter from). This causes people to enter from both sides and people cut in front of you. They need to have better signage and maybe put a sign saying "do not enter from this side" or something. Drinks are fast and love the staff but geez is it a pain, when you're playing roulette with who will cut in front of who, in the drive thru. read more

This is the worst swig location for efficiency. They offer curbside, but you offer wait longer then if you had just gone through the drive through. My previous visit in December 2023 for a curbside order we waited over 20 minutes while multiple cars went through the drive through. We ended up just canceling our order because even after the 20 minutes it was not ready. No apologizes. Nothing offered to make it right. I will be avoiding this location going forward. read more

Awful service. Rude employees. We got in line and waited for about 10 minutes but realized there were two lines of cars and the other one was shorter. We drove around and waited in that line for another 10 minutes. Kaitlyn, the Swig worker took the orders for the car in front of us then came to our car and told us we needed to go to the back of the previous line. We were very frustrated and asked if she could just take our order, explaining that we were in the other line. There were 2 lines and she wanted one line. Which is understandable but we were the last car in the second line and it would only take a minute to take our order. She refused and walked away. She went to the other line and took the order of that car. We didn't know what to do so we pulled in behind the last car. Kaitlin started yelling, the car started honking and then Kaitlin ran into the store and told the workers to not serve us. To be clear, we were not trying to be difficult. We were genuinely confused why Kaitlyn refused to help us. We are unfamiliar with Swig. Is this how they always treat customers? We had waited in line just like everybody else. It was weird! I watched a young man order at the window so I got out of the truck (we had been cleaning out our parents' house and had taken two loads to the dump) and approached the window. The girl that came to the window refused to take my order or serve me. I pointed out that I watched another customer being served. So she LIED to my face and closed the window. I returned to the truck and we eventually pulled up to the window. The girl informed us that she was not allowed to serve us because we cut in line. That's what Kaitlyn had told them when she knew very well we did not. We waited in line like everybody else but when we pulled up she told us to start over. Even though she had served everyone in front of us in our line. It was INSANE. The shift manager was the one that slammed the window in my face and was holding her position. Because we weren't cute young men? Because we were sweaty and dirty women in our 50's? I really don't know but never did she ask if Kaitlyn's story was accurate. But even if it was (it was not), what difference does it make? Kaitlyn and the shift manager were being incredibly petty and refusing to provide ANY customer service. The girl at the window listened to our recounting of events and stood up to her shift manager. She took our order and served us. Besides her good service, it was a miserable experience. We weren't trying to get ahead by breaking rules. We seriously don't understand why we waited 20 minutes only to be told to start over. And then the pettiness turned us off from the store completely. Serve some customers but not all. All she had to do was set the cones up BEFORE we got there in the order line which would have informed us. Instead, she let us wait, served those before us, then told us to move to the back of the other line. It would be like standing in a line to check out at a grocery store, a very long and laborious line, then, upon reaching the checker, she slams down her "Lane Closed" sign and walks away. Then whispering to the other checkers to not help us, throw up blocks at every Turn. We had been polite and very reasonable and we're treated with complete disregard and horrible disrespect. Meanwhile, this entire saga slowed the process of making drinks. Kaitlynn went into the store and there for a good five minutes during that time, the line did not move at all. In fact, it took another 5 minutes to start moving. In all, we spent well over 30 minutes in line and were subjected to the most unfair and disrespectful treatment. We had to suffer all of this abuse because some girls insisted on being petty after being extremely rude and not offering an explanation for this treatment. There was absolutely no rhyme or reason. Don't go to this Swig. It was the most bizarre, rude, discriminatory, and petty experience I've ever had at a business. I will never, ever return and will let everybody know about this experience. There was absolutely no excuse nor justification for treating another human being this way. Particularly as we continued to be civil. It was a humiliating and confusing. Not an experience I will willingly put myself through again. My sister is from out of state and I told her all the good things I'd heard about Swig. We were both completely taken aback by what began with Kaitlyn's immature and unprofessional behavior and the way she spun her story when she should have been taking orders and the others should have been serving and complicity caused us great distress. read more

I used to go to this location almost exclusively, because it was great and right conveniently on my route to work.. but the last two-three months has been a complete mess. There's a guy who works here that consistently slows production until I seriously wish I could get out of line and go to a different location. The line won't move for at least 10 minutes at a time because this employee is distracting everyone who is trying to work. Then he'll clock out and continue to distract them for 20+ minutes until he finally says his goodbyes and leaves.. to get in his white dodge charger and hop in line to distract the employee taking orders.. and then again the employees at the window. Can you tell that I go here a lot? This is the same cycle almost daily. **Please just cut your losses and go to a different location.** It's so unprofessional and I've waited in line for 30+ minutes most the time I go here just because of this one employee distracting all four of the other employees on staff. Now I go to the new Lindon location, and they're speedy, kind, and always make my drink right. read more

Okay swig, I see you. Swig was my last go-to soda spot. But they got me! The staff is so fun and nice. They're SO much faster than most of the other soda shops I go to. And they have some amazing drinks. The strawberry breeze is my current favorite refresher. I've even tried to get it at other shops but no one does it like swig can. I LOVE this place! Every time I have ever been there it's been amazing! The only "bad" experience I've had here is when they forgot to give me my pretzel bites and I noticed and ran back and they apologized a lot about it. I really miss the mint Whoopie pies, those were good, but my dog ate mine, but that wasn't swigs fault so I'm not mad. My favorite order is the watermelon sugar and pretzel bites! So delicious and an amazing snack for when you are; Hungry, sad, happy, with friends, with family, bored, or just need a delicious drink. When I can get a job I'm definitely going to try to get a job here. The employees are so nice and funny to be around, and the app lets me know when I can get free or cheap things. Straws, foam cups, etc. also, the last few months there have been several times that they are not opened when they say they are or will be. I know the pandemic has impacted businesses, but really, this location has had the worst service despite it all. I cannot rely on them and I'm a daily visitor. Went to swig today. I got a regular no extras Dr Pepper 32 oz, and a 24 oz raspberry dream. It came to over $6.00 I was pretty shocked. I said to the girl wow that seemed like a lot for what we got and she smiled and said ya! We raised our prices! She said my boss said we could give 50% off this week only to anyone who mentions that they notice how much more it is. I said ok I would like my 50% off and she said oh well you already paid so if you come back this week and mention it with what you buy again you can get 50% off. Kind of annoying. But then.. we drive away and my sons soda starts spilling all over our freshly washed car Inside and out. I looked at the bottom of the cup and there was some weird hard plastic thing hanging out of it. (not the straw) took it back they made a new one and sent my kid back to the car.... with no straw of course so he had to go back and get a straw. Anyway then I had to go back to the car wash and spend a bunch of more money.. again.. to wash my car again. The best part is. The car wash offers free soda to anyone getting a car wash so I could have skipped swig in Cedar Hills all together and saved myself over $20 for 2 little dang sodas. read more

Tried this establishment twice because they were new and I received free coupons from a vendor in town. Way too sweet and way too much sugar for my taste! I was informed that the car line was to busy to take any orders from the window. Which normally I would understand however there were only three cars in the drive through. Also the fact that two people I came with ordered through the walk up right before me. I was still looking at the menu. Which in my opinion is horrible customer service. Please don't waste your money here. The staff were completely flustered I saw them pouring drinks out and running back and forth to the same cups. The Swig in Cedar hills has terrible business practices. I went to the new Swig to order some cookies (I've never been there before) and they wouldn't let me order 5 cookies because there wasn't 5 people in my car. I said, "But I will pay full price for them! You don't have to give me the special for $1 a cookie. I will pay FULL PRICE!" The sales lady, outside in the rain taking my order said, "Sorry, you can't have 5 because there is only one of you in the car!" I said, "So, you don't want to make sales and you don't want my money?" She said "No, because we are only selling cookies to people who are in your car." REALLY???? What kind of business turns down money and sales??????? Certainly not a business that wants to stay in business! I will NEVER go there again.! Terrible! read more
