I like how well organized the store is. Around the perimeter of the store they have big signs over each section so you can easily see where you need to go. There are signs such as rum, tequila, scotch, whiskey, vodka. And then in the middle of the store is the wine. The prices are right under all of the alcohol and easy to read. I went on a weekday in the middle of the day and there were only a handful of people in the store so it wasn't very crowded. They have cute little carts for you to put the alcohol in while you are shopping. You will be required to show your ID at the cash register before you make your purchase so don't forget to bring it. read more

Typical place you can go for any occasion or reason - celebrate a promotion, drown your break-up sorrows, or just grab a regular old weekday lunch. Nothing too fancy and not everyone knows your name here, but all are welcome. However, they'll only let you indulge if you're 21+....and take your purchases elsewhere to enjoy. read more

This is one of the new "corporate" type stores. They are "conveniently" located near no neighborhood and have no personality. They don't make any special effort to carry items the local people want. That may be one reason it took so long for this place to get a review. The carry more merchandise than the local, but don't carry the same mix. Normally, I'll go to my local place. The lady at the register checked out a younger couple that was about a person ahead of me in line and they were only buying one bottle of alcohol. It should've taken only a couple minutes, right? Wrong. So wrong. I stood there for 10-15 minutes while the cashier ooohed and ahhhed over their ID's and how young they were. And then she proceeded to ask them if they went to school, what their majors were, how long they dated, how they met, and I now know Becky and Chad's entire life story. They had ONE bottle of booze and it just sat there waiting to be bagged during this entire conversation. I felt like the bottle was taunting me and even more so when the cashier kept faking us out and pretending she might not hold the bottle hostage anymore. But no. It continued. The guy in front of me in line turned around and gave me one of those looks like he didn't know what we did in life to deserve this. (You know the face: it's the one Melania Trump wears whenever she has to be in DC.) Listen, I get customer service - I do, I get it. I love it even. But it is not okay when you have 5 people waiting in line behind your current customers and you spend 15 minutes playing Liquor Store Oprah with them on a Friday night, while the rest of us politely shuffle around because where else can we go to get hard liquor in that town?! Seriously. The liquor store is not the place for this. No one wants to spend more time in a Utah County liquor store on a Friday night than they have to. Booze booze booze. It's not much to say. I like booze and this is a great place to get it. I like this location due to it's larger size than the one closer to my home. The staff here are very friendly as well and usually strike up talk about different cocktails or wines I should try. It's very clean and maintained and always well stocked. Me and seven other people were turned away at fifteen minutes till seven today by a person who said "we've got too many people in the store" get this guys fifteen minutes before the stores state mandated closing time. Someone needs to fix this. read more

For utah, this is a great place to get liquor. The staff are professional and they ID me every time, even though a few of the employees know me. They follow the law. This store has the biggest selection of liquor in utah county. That equates to an average selection in almost every other state. I wish they had more scotch and brandy/cognac selections, but I understand if there isn't much of a market for fine or expensive booze here. Don't buy gas station beer here. Utah laws require it to be less than 3.5% alcohol, which is basically half content of everywhere else in earth. Go to the liquor store for that stuff. read more

I don't disagree at all with Rod's review of this, but I expect little to next to nothing from Utah liquor outlets. As one of the new, clean and shiny stores, this is about as best it gets, as it generally means plenty of inventory. Given that the location, like the one on North Temple in Salt Lake, is accessible only if you intend on getting there (meaning you can only get to it via ONE single direction, eastbound, on the south side of the street, in both cases), this also means foot traffic will tend to be fairly low. It didn't matter so much before the COVID-19 days, but matters a lot now, as the very last thing I will ever be doing is standing outside, in line, to get into a fucking liquor store. Here, and at the other location, you can waltz right in generally, get whatever it is you're after (again, within extremely limited reason, because Utah), and get out again, then be on your jolly way. Stock is good, overall, the times I've been there, so realistically, outside of the "specialty" stores, like the wine only places, this is as good as it ever gets for Utah liquor stores. read more

I gave this place an "A-OK" because I'm not from here & I am not used to having to buy beer 1 bottle at a time if it's over 3.2% alcohol. But out of all the places in Utah to get booze, this place gets 5 stars. So in actuality the low rating is really not the store's fault but more the state's fault. Haha. I believe this place is open Mon-Sat 11:00am - 10:00pm They have an ok variety of beer for a pretty steep price. Now remember that they charge per bottle, so your 6 pack will range from $12 and up. They do however have a large variety of hard liquors & wines for very decent prices. They do not sell Kegs or MiniKegs anymore. read more

I don't know why I expected this place to be really barren and lame (ahem, Utah) but they actually had a pretty phenomenal wine selection and all the necessary hard liquor you would ever need. If I ever moved to Utah, I would probably try and stop in twice a month and stock up on my home bar essentials. Their craft beer selection was decent, though there is obviously a lot missing from the shelves compared to what I'm used to in the Bay Area. Pricing didn't seem awful, but it wasn't the biggest bang I've ever gotten for my booze bucks either. read more

This place has a great selection and a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. So why the bad rating? Because the prices are insane! First of all a state government should not be in the booze business. And if they are the prices should be reasonable. However they aren't, they are at least TWICE what they are anywhere else. It's highway robbery by the state, and now they are planning to charge even more! Utah is and preeminently always will be known for it's stupid alcohol laws. Drive to Vegas, catch a show and buy your booze there. it's worth the trip. read more

Great customer service. We purchased a large glass bottle of wine, the cashier could tell simply by the sound of the cap and the bottles smell that the bottle has not been air tight for quite sometime. Quickly swapped it out and we were on our way. read more

I like this store the most because it is open until 10:00 pm and the staff are helpful and not covered in piercing tattoos or strange hair color like at the orem one, not that these are bad things in and of themselves, but sometimes it seems like in the state UT we live in people who want to express them selves in less "Conventional" way are seemingly banished to work in places "less desirable" than the common lds person would want, and doesn't have to look at this way. It's nice to be served by a "normal" looking individual, to make it feel less "wrong" to be coming into a liquor store in UT. I hope my comment is coming out the way I want it to. read more
