It was nearly the end of the Cubs game. My wife requested a quiet area with a view of Wrigley Field:) Swift Tavern did not disappoint! We were seated in a semi private area upstairs with a spectacular view. Relaxing over dinner and wine. The service was excellent! What a great first impression. And since we were I'm entertaining out of town guests, we hit a home run with Swift Tavern! I have more food pics to post soon.

We were in the area with a little time to kill, so we figured we'd pop in somewhere to get a quick drink. When we showed up, the place was pretty much empty (but it was really filling up by the time we left about an hour later). Nobody was hungry so it was a drinks-only affair, and I figured I'd try out one of their tasty-sounding cocktails. I can rarely say no to anything involving mezcal, so I finally opted for the Smokey Pear ("candied smoke, spirit-forward mezcal, pear, cinnamon, lime, orange bitters, fee foam, orange"). It was ready pretty quickly and it's really terrific. It's got the sweet/salty balance of a margarita but there's more going on here flavor-wise. It's also quite smoky, which I really enjoyed and appreciated. Our bartender was really awesome, and I loved the comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Swift Tavern is great.

Swift Tavern was a great experience and a fun place to visit near Wrigley Field. I can imagine it getting very busy during Cubs season, but when we visited before the Liz Tomforde event in March the service was excellent and everything felt well run. We started with cheese curds and pretzel bites which were both great appetizers and perfect to share. I ordered a burger and John had the chicken sandwich and we both really enjoyed our meals. Everything came out fresh and well prepared. The staff really stood out. Our server, the floor manager, and the food runners were all attentive and welcoming which made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. The views of Wrigley are also a great bonus and add to the overall atmosphere!!

Service was slow and we were seated at least 15 minutes after our reservation time, but we did go during the bears Packers game, so it was a packed house. That said, the food was very good, there were lots of screens to watch the game and our server was very kind. Do make sure you check the alcohol prices, a few members at our table were very surprised by the cost of their martini with their selected liquor but that was our problem not the restaurants.

Cardinals fans visiting! It was raining and we ducked in here. No reservation but we're able to sit upstairs. Service was excellent. The food was good too. No complaints, we would visit again!

This was the perfect happy hour spot on a Monday evening. Our server Mark was really nice. Great variety of food and drinks on the happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend the pimento dip.

Swift Tavern is a happening spot right across from Wrigley. I agree that this seems to present as more of a bar that offers snacks rather than a full-on restaurant. (Not that there's not restaurant food, just seems to be more of a bar.) Food was good, and the service was solid. Great ambiance, truly a nice spot before or after a game.

We were staying at the Zachary Hotel a few doors down so we decided to have dinner here our first night in town. It's a beautiful space with floor to ceiling windows and a ton of natural light. Service was quick with our drinks and soup. Unfortunately, our entrees also came out really quickly while we were only halfway through our soup. The French onion soup was really hot and tasty. The chicken salad was just okay because the chicken was kind of dry with not enough dressing. The pasta bolognese dish was good. The ambiance was much better when we left than when we arrived because the music was no longer blaring at a high volume.

Was so excited to check this out because swift in sons in west loop is my favorite! Very big space, cute spot! Service was average, a little slow with the food and drinks but we did go on a game day. A little underwhelming on everything. Started with a Bloody Mary. This was fine. It was interesting to see every bloody that was coming out had a different garnish. Ours just had blue cheese olives. We got the pretzel bites for an app. These were great! Soft and the queso it came with was amazing! For the main we got the tri tip hash and birria breakfast. The tri tip had 0 flavor. I wanted hot sauce but the waitress never came back. It had carrots in it which just did not go well with the dish. I am a huge birria fan and this was just not it. It is a tiny portion size with 3 quesadillas. The birria is also very spicy and served in chunks. I like when it's more shredded. Not sure if I'll go back, hard to beat the swift and sons in west loop!

We went after the Cubs game had finished and the whole staff look exhausted! I could not blame them! The food hit the spot and the drinks were good. You can't beat the location as they have prime real estate:)

This was fantastic brunch and wonderful service. The portions were absolutely amazing and I was so full I couldn't even finish the meal. I love that we were sat right next to the window and had the breeze on a sunny day. Would totally go back to this brunch spot in Wrigleyville!

'Twas okay. Not nearly good enough to be associated with the steak place. In a town of great cheeseburgers, this one is mid.

The staff was super attentive and kind, checking on us frequently. My friend and I stopped by for happy hour, and this should absolutely make it onto the list of the best in town. They have delicious wine, cocktails, and bites for nearly half of the regular price. I opted for the happy hour prosecco to drink, which was light-bodied and not too sweet. We split the meatballs and dates for bites and both were outstanding. I was super impressed with how tender the meatballs were, and they did not skimp on the flavorful marinara and cheese! The dates, which were topped with a white wine cheese sauce, were mouth-wateringly delicious and a must order. There was also complimentary focaccia with olive oil, which was greatly appreciated. With sea salt on top and a crispy exterior, I could easily have eaten a whole loaf. The only note I have is that the portions are small, so if you don't come during happy hour the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Will 100% be back soon to try more of the menu and highly recommend making the trek over here!

He's been certified for 3 yrs* Upon walking up to the establishment with my fiancé and service dog, there was an officer there wearing a badge. He acknowledged how cute Rory (my service dog) was and stated he was a service dog. He then asked if he could pet Rory, I said yes that would be fine with me. Another gentleman, not sure what role he played at the establishment, approached us while the officer was still there. He began questioning me and Rory's legitimacy on being a service dog since he just saw the officer pet him. I informed him that the officer had asked and I said it was ok. He then said "we have a lot of people that pretend their dogs are service dogs to get them in"; I replied I have his badge and the dog trainer's(dog training elite) number to contact her. He allowed us in. Less than a minute latter when my finance, Rory, and I were walking to a table, the bouncer/manager re-approaches us and says we have to leave predicated on the notion I let an officer say hi and pet Rory after the officer had asked. The law allows establishments to only ask 2 questions when it comes to service animals; 1) Is it a legitimate service animal? 2) What service is the service animal providing? I was only asked #1, if Rory was a service animal, I am allowed to give my service animal a break on occasion and I decide who can and can't say hi to him. Have never been discriminated like this in my life. And will never be returning to the facility.
