Had Thorntown Heating and Cooling back out today because the PVC pipes that remove the condensation fell apart, the gentleman got in the attic to which they never installed that pipe when installing the new furnace. He said that would be $125. 2 hours later I noticed my furnace would not come on, called Thorntown Heating and Cooling again, he said it will be $125 trip charge this is you're problem now, not Thorntown Heating & Cooling. So before I had them out AGAIN, I opened the furnace door and put it back on, he didn't have it on properly when he was out here this morning. How would you charge my parents for something you didn't put back on correctly to begin with? Complete your job, and do it correct the 1st time when you do it. I will NEVER use Thorntown Heating and Cooling again. Jones Home Services has my business, and the rest of my families business. Eric

On my moving day, Mark and Ryan arrived timely and were absolutely the best. I couldn't have asked for two better guys! We first walked through my house so they had an idea of my possessions. Then they got to work! They were friendly and very efficient, but also made sure all of my things were well-protected. When we arrived at the destination, they asked me how I wanted the furniture arranged and made sure to carefully stack the remaining boxes where I wanted them placed. They quickly reassembled my bed, as well. I was sent the final invoice via email at the completion of my move, and was able to conveniently pay online. It was an even better price than I'd expected! This was truly the easiest move I've ever made thanks to Move Indy. Highly recommend them!

The next day the water was again not draining and instead pouring out through my outside clean out. I called and was told the guy would come with the camera. He came and said he couldn't get the camera in. Then he tells me that I need to replace the entire pipe all the way to the main sewer line. He quotes me $14K and quickly tries to get me to finance a loan. I cannot afford $14K let alone the payments that would come with a loan for that amount! I called Hopper Excavating for a second opinion. They came out jetted the line then the next day ran a camera to pin point where the roots were. They used a special cutting tool and cut out the roots and made sure the line was clear. They told me to use copper sulfate in the pipes a couple times a year to kill any roots that might get back in. Total charge $500 I cannot help myself but think Mowery was trying to get me to spend the most money possible for something that didn't have to be done. The guys at Hopper operate with integrity. They are honest, trustworthy and most importantly don't screw over their clients. I will never call a different plumbing company!!!

During the move, the owner of Superior Moving Company kept talking to us about selling us some antique toys that he said belonged to his grandfather. The owner claimed that the toys had been appraised verifying their estimated worth. We trusted his word as to the authenticity of the toys and verified value. We paid him $705.00 for all the toys he offered to sell us. We later took the toys to a reputable antique dealer in Tipton, Indiana who informed us that all of the toys, except one, were reproductions and the total value of the toys we received was $200.00. Obviously, we never would have paid $705.00 for reproductions valued at $200.00. We have twice contacted the owner of Superior Moving Company and informed him the bulk of the toys were reproductions and not antique originals as he had led us to believe, and were not valued at the price that he had led us to believe. We have asked him twice to refund our money. He has twice refused saying "A deal is a deal." We believe we have been the victims of "sharp practices" used by the owner of Superior Moving Company and urge caution when dealing with this individual.
