I'm only giving them three stars because they did have some unique items inside. We did encounter two problems during our visit. The first was simply getting into the shop. There aren't any regular steps into the shop entrance. They have two unusually shaped stones stacked upon each other without any handrails to hold on as you step up into the shop. My wife has some physical restrictions and I had to hold her hand just to get her into the shop safely. I can't imagine how difficult to enter if there was ice. The second problem was that in the time we browsed through the shop, not one person appeared from the front of the building (maybe they live there?) We could see people through an open door but I felt uncomfortable walking through. So, nobody on duty to answer questions or help make a purchase. No bell to ring, or sign to welcome visitors back to the other part of the building. I honestly have no idea if they knew we were there. You will also notice that there is a strong smell of a home where smoking once was prevalent. I imagine that if you bought some wood or fabric items, you would have to leave them out to get rid of the odor. In fairness, I did see a number of unique items and the shop itself was easy to get around. The upstairs was closed off, so I don't know if there is anything up there worth viewing. Note: I also didn't see much lighting materials as is listed in the Yelp business name. There were a few fixtures and shades, but not so much that I would add it to the name. Overall, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of attention the owners/managers put into improving the customer experience. We bought a beautiful architectural antique piece and an iron "dog head" leash holder - both are unique and were well priced. We're actually sorry we wavered on a painting and will be going back next week crossing fingers that it is still there. We purchased several vegetables, like kale, cabbage, Brussel, sprouts, and more. We also purchased some soil and a few other household items we were running low on. Our experience was great from start to finish, and I was very impressed with their selection of gardening vegetables. There were multiple varieties of greens, a dozen plus a Herbs, and pretty much everything you could need to start an expansive vegetable garden. Looking forward to future visits at this neighborhood, hardware store.

Basically, this is the place all non-purchased items from Target go for a last ditch rescue. My favorite thing here are the comforters, which you can get for $22 or less! They have everything you would find at Target, only it's the last item, so things vary quite a bit. It's sort of like treasure hunting.

You'll find vendors booths with beautiful florals, many antiques, collectibles, quilts, area rugs, glassware, wreaths, outdoor decor, furniture and home decor. Most booths have many different items and collectibles. You just never know what you'll find while browsing here. The isleways are large enough to get through and the booths are clean and well organized. Most items are clearly priced and priced well. I have purchased so many good quality items from Room Swap (including the Avon Store) and most at a great price. If you're in the area be sure to stop and browse. The selection changes daily so it's fun to see new items often.

We learned this store is the outlet for overstock furniture carried in their Castleton location. Prices at this location are are all marked down to clearance. The furniture is heavy, solid and quality. We learned that the Amish craftsmen are selected to build. We saw examples of solid walnut, oak, cherry and other hardwoods which were US sourced. Some pieces has artistic inlays. The workmanship is outstanding. This furniture is meant to last a lifetime. The selection ranged from bedroom sets to dining sets to coffee and side tables. There was a single sofa and three upholstered chairs. The sofa was comfortable. Prices were what you'd expect for high-end pieces. Coffee table was at $1000 for example. The clerk was very friendly and took time to explain the offering. She told us that you can order custom made pieces at the location in Castleton. She was not pushy. The store s popular so you will want to get there early. I assume that the stock turns over quickly since you are buying the pieces on the floor.

In the back of the store they still have a scale to sell nails by the pound. At the front counter they can make a duplicate key for you and it will probably work the first time, unlike the key machine at the chain hardware store. Furnaces and parts for them are available here. Sinks, faucets, drain parts are all here as well. Only 2 employees, so if you live in the neighborhood, you can get to know them and make this your one stop shop for hardware. You can look around in here, but you should really ask to find what you need because some of the stuff they carry is in the back. I really enjoyed my short time here because it reminded me of the hardware store I grew up visiting with my Dad when I was little.

A delivery truck was at my apartment making a delivery to another apartment 2 days in a row…read more Instead of parking in the center lot that is empty they squeezed their truck between 2 residents' cars, making a precarious turn between 3 cars to back up into the space. The first day they placed a box on the edge of the truck and it nearly got knocked over twice towards my car, I asked them to be careful to which he simply replied, "uh huh." They park next to me again today, the driver squeezing between my car and the truck carrying an electric drill. I was livid at their incompetence, any professional company will park in the center lot away from cars or just park on the roadway with hazards on... NOT squeeze a 10 ft truck between 2 cars! I called the store obviously upset to which the owner keeps referring to me as "hun", "hun it's a big truck", "hun they gotta park". I asked him to stop calling me "hun" and informed him of the empty area in the center and if they damaged my car I would be filing a police report to which his reply was, "hun that's what insurance is for" and "hun you need to pray" before hanging up. What an absolute crap owner. Maybe if you learned how to be professional your workers would also follow suit. If you want an example of a professional business learn from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, they drive large trucks but park away from cars, even if that means carrying things further away. Or Two Men and a Truck, who happens to be delivering today in a larger truck but isn't blocking or dangerously close to a single car. If their professionalism is a sign of their business I'm sure they are over pricing cheap/damaged furniture.
