If I could give this place a Negative 5, I would. Although they are cheap, I give them that, but Pet boarding is not their forte. They seriously should seek another means to make a living. Upon my arrival, I was a little skeptical because the Baby (Jack Russel) would be outside however, since I had already made reservations and VCA was booked, I decided to go with it. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!! I returned home early from visiting family out of town and went by to pick up my Child and I was horrified as well as she. Her cage or whatever they called it was filthy. She had feces and urine on her as well as there were multiple piles of feces in her cage as if it had not been cleaned for the entire 4 days. I was PISSED!! I almost started cussing, but you can't tell people how to run their shack of a business, so I kept it cool. I asked if she had eaten for the day and they said to me yeah, she has a healthy little appetite. (BULL SHIP, and I will explain later) She was so frightened by the owners that she would not come out of her cage. I asked the owner to leave out and let me talk to her and get her to come out. Well She eventually came out of the cage 10 minutes later when she saw that the coast was clear and went into her dog carrier. As I was walking out of the Prison with her in tote, the owner was standing by the doorway and my child started growling and snarling at the owner (out of the norm behavior for her.) I finally got her in the car and she whimpered the entire time until we drove out of that dump. I ended up taking her straight to Pet Smart in Colonial Heights (She loves the girls there) for a bath because of the feces on her and the stench. Luckily they were able to squeeze her in. Well, Upon our arrival home, She ran to her food dish and grabbed it with her mouth and she kept dropping it in the front of me everywhere I went within the house. I went into the bathroom, there she came and dropped the bowl at my feet. I emptied my suitcase into the laundry room, she came again and dropped the bowl again. By the third time she just held it in her mouth and continued to follow me. I eventually got the hint and fed her. She was eating so fast that she kept choking on the food, I'm guessing that they never fed her. So viewers, save yourself the heartache and trouble. Drive full speed past this horror story of a business, book your pets somewhere else because they couldn't keep a water moccasin for me, not alone my dog ever again. read more
