Stopped here for some coffee on a road trip. The address on Yelp wasn't correct but a nearby store owner directed us to the correct location - which was around the block. Really pretty cafe. If I lived in Dillon I would spend a lot of time relaxing here. The patrons are very friendly. I had a latte breve and it was just the way I like. This cafe was really busy for lunch rush but the wait wasn't bad to get coffee. The restroom was very clean we well. read more

Address is wrong on Yelp, Sweetwater is right next door to the Patagonia outlet. Fast WiFi. Great atmosphere to get some work done. Only been here once but was very impressed with its atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely drinks and sweets offered. Nice, modern, open loft style space in a historical older building. Can sit by the windows and watch the street. Your order is brought to your table when ready which was nice. i've been in town visiting family this weekend, and i decided to stop by for a coffee my first day here. best coffee i've ever had! beats any starbucks by far! i got an americano, but if you are looking for something not as strong i'm sure they are great too. i ended up going back to this place for breakfast a couple days later, and got the breakfast sandwich and a scone with my coffee, and i loved it! the environment is super artsy and trendy, and the people working here are extremely nice and helpful! i definitely recommend stopping by this place when you get a chance, best coffee in dillon montana!! read more

I'm a fan for sure. This is a nice small town coffee shop with good coffee and tasty food. The hibiscus (I think) iced tea was my favorite. We go to Dillon several times a year and I usually end up at the Sweetwater with girlfriends. This time I was able to get hubby to go with me since it's in a nice new "manly-er" location. Love their much bigger and better space (at least I think so). Terrific service from a warm friendly staff as well. Also love their cookies such as the chocolate mocha cookie, and the chocolate chip cookies with oatmeal and crispys are a hit with my teenager. But it was the Blue Doris Salad that I've been craving for the past couple of months while away from Dillon. You have to try it and if you're on a high protein diet (like me due to weight loss surgery), ask for extra chicken. I usually am not be able to finish it which is just fine because that means I get it for a snack later on in the day. This time, hubby shared it with me and he was hooked. No leftovers so we went back the next day. We again shared the salad (with extra chicken) and he also ordered the chili which was "soup of the day". That too was absolutely terrific. Now if I could learn to order something else instead of my default Blue Doris.... nah... I'll just bring hubby along to order something different to widen my horizon. read more

Decor leans towards antique modern with some very cool mid century pieces throughout the seating area. I live here and go in each day prior to my Geology Professor gig at the University of Montana Western. I've lived in Arcata, CA, Missoula, MT, and Seattle, WA. This is, by far, the best coffee I have ever had, period. Sara and the crew are great, legit hip and they have been at it for over 25 years in Dillon. College student? Great place to hang. Summer geology student? If you get out of town without stopping in, you squandered your time in Dillon looking at rocks. Looking for a place to go to college? Only Montana Western has X1, that might allow you to easily juggle your studies and a job at Sweetwater. Seriously, this is the best kept secret in Montana. Be in on the secret! read more
