What I needed was nowhere to be found. Jan at R&J Cabinetry came to my rescue. They offer many options and pricepoints and this quaint owner operator cabinetry store was able to find exactly what I needed. Jan was meticulous with details that were important to me. When she wasn't sure she would contact her cabinet representative to confirm exactly what was available for me. The whole process took less than a week. Jan was very responsive via text, phone and follow up. We haven't completed our project yet but have ordered our custom cabinet (which was also a reasonable price). Once we complete the project I will upload pictures. For now I have the visual rendering Jan provided which I can't seem to upload. The measurements were a special and non standard size. We sat together in her showroom, designing my kitchen and picking elements that were important to me. Jan helped me avoid mistakes with her many years of experience of what does and doesn't work in a kitchen. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a keen attention to detail. Jan is also committed to everything being right. She came back to my house to meet with my installer, to ensure he fully understood the kitchen design. She responds to emails and calls quickly, and is patient in answering questions. When one of our cabinet doors didn't look perfect, she replaced it. I looked long and hard for a reasonable and talented kitchen designer, and Jan was it! I highly recommend R&J Cabinetry.

HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. When I returned to my home later that day I was appalled. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

We hired Granite Doctor to do a kitchen sink replacement, and to clean & seal multiple granite…read moresurfaces. The sink replacement required them to remove the existing sink and then cut the granite to install the larger new sink. I have worked with many companies in granite projects in the past, and I can attest that this company is right there at the top: very knowledgeable, professional, and detailed oriented. They did a great job as you can see in the before/after pictures.

Disappointing rush job didn't turn out great. The owner said it would take 4 days to sand, stain…read moreand seal the main floor so we made plans to stay out of town during that time - since this isn't a project that you can stay at home for. The crew finished in 1 day +2 hours the next day. They didn't mask off our new kitchen cabinets (or anything else) as they were supposed to so everything was covered in sanding dust. They left in a hurry without locking up the house. The front door was propped open with the key in the deadbolt and all of the lights left on. They left tools and trash inside and outside the house. The owner was apologetic afterwards but accepted zero responsibility for his crew. You might think they would check to make sure everything was done correctly before letting us know they were finished, but apparently there is no quality control. There are several areas that look bad - ripples across the floor, stain on the carpeting, a splotch of stain in the hallway and a long hair sealed into the kitchen floor. We will have to hire someone else to fix these areas since we can't trust this company to be in our house.

The actual team who installed the carpet was awesome, Riley was great to work with when installing our new baseboards, Luis did an excellent job on our bathroom tile, and Roger went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Truly you can tell these folks care about your project and their quality of work. Incredibly impressed with everyone involved. Will definitely be using them again when we change the rest of our flooring in our home. And would absolutely recommend them to anyone along the way!

When some boards that had been installed had some pre-existing issues that made them look bad, he didn't balk at all in tearing down those boards and re-installing some from the overage we ordered.
