My husband and son were skiing for the week to celebrate my husband's birthday. I ordered the basket by phone, and Barbara stayed in touch with me throughout the process until delivery. They were so surprised and thankful for the snacks when they finally in the Valley tired and hungry. Also, since the snacks were in individual bags, they were able to stuff them in their pockets for a quick pick-me-up while skiing. The interior is tight, but obviously a local favorite. We were not that hungry and needed some energy to jump start our day. I ordered a single biscuit with gravy while my wife dove into the blueberry scone and a single egg. The biscuit was decent while the sausage gravy lacked a protein punch. It was average. Meanwhile the scone tasted like it was heated on the flat top over a pad of butter and crunched with a nice sugary topping. It was flavor packed and quickly inhaled. For breakfast, Winona's looks like the place in Steamboat Springs. The crowds are waiting patiently and eager to eat. It feels like a go-to for the early riser crowd. The food is solid with some choices ring the bell. Portions sizes are generous and the staff is quite accommodating. Good meal.
