The flavor was spot on, tasted great and came with a complimentary waffle slice! There were two women working while I went in and they were very pleasant, helped us out and let us try as many flavors of gelato that we wanted. The shop itself is small and quaint, with lots of sweet options. What caught my eye were the salt water taffy in many odd flavors such as maple bacon. They recently opened up last week and they were already so busy when we came into the store at 9pm on a Sunday night. The location replaced the Popeyes on Woodlawn road. They have a variety of flavors with different types of syrups as well as jam filled donuts. The "puffs" remind me of a mixture between TimHortons Timbits for the look and funnel cake for the texture. The puffs are super light and airy and when you have them freshly made, it's super crisp and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, so good! I've had it before but it wasn't as fresh but was still good. When I finally tried them fresh this weekend, it was addictive! We ordered a box of 50 and the price was decent for the amount of puffs we got (~little over $26). They also serve other menu items to go along with the puffs such as coffee, tea and milkshakes. They also carry other desserts such as ice cream and "tornadoes" which is similar to McFlurry or DQ Blizzard desserts. Since it will start to get warmer soon, I will definitely come back to try their cold items!
