I visited two weeks ago, the elevator in the parking garage was broken!! The wouldn't go down, only up. Let's me clear - I am not that lazy, I will walk when needed. However my friend has a busted knee, which wouldn't allow her to climb stairs. She's already walking like a pirate. I went to 3 other parking garages before I found one that felt safe with an easy walk. We purchased tickets in advance ($17 - Super Sweet Karaoke) General Admisson. As we entered The Sweet Tooth Hotel you could hear the off-key Karaoke in the bar area. We received a room key at the desk for the additional 7-8 rooms. The first three rooms were vibrant and full of local art installations. I was obsessed with the Mad Hatter's tea Party themed room. The bar is fun! Lots of reflective mirrors. You can purchase desserts here as well as cocktails. I wish this place stayed open until 1am. We stayed until closing which was (11pm) I ordered the "sunset dream" cocktail. All cocktails are $8 on Fridays. The bartender gave great suggestions. I would definitely recommend going here if you're in the city. read more

This is such a cool and funky spot in downtown Dallas. It's a cocktail bar and art gallery all in one. They have multiple art installations as well as several gallery spaces all within the main business. The craft cocktails are themed appropriately to match the experience as it's interactive and immersive. I absolutely recommend adding cotton candy to the cocktails. Such a cute cute place! I took my daughter and her friend for a spring break activity. It's definitely pink, like a pink bubble gum bubble exploded when you first you walk in. However, it's not a pink overload that makes you feel like you are walking through a bottle of Pepto Bismol. Upon entering, you are greeted by the "hotel agent" and check-in. The agent welcomed us and gave us instruction on how to travel through the "hotel." We also purchased the scavenger hunt to make the journey more fun and engaging. The scavenger hunt was not expensive and is a fun add-on. Once you go through the "elevator doors" to the other rooms, each room has a different theme. Every room is intricately designed for a different atmosphere and is perfectly set up for pictures, whether selfie or group. Once you go through the hotel and complete the scavenger hunt, you receive your gift and go to the "hotel bar." They have both mocktails and cocktails for your enjoyment. We purchased the package that includes your beverages but you are able to purchase your beverages on-site. The drinks are sweet, hence the sweet tooth hotel, but they were delicious none the less. The hotel took about 45 minutes but it was because we took so many pictures and had a great time in each room. Again, we had the scavenger hunt so that was a little extra time in each room but not by much. If you just journey through the rooms and not take advantage of picture opportunities, you can get through the hotel in 20 minutes easy. For the price you pay, I would definitely say take your time and enjoy the scenery and take all the pictures. It's a place that once you've been, you don't have to go back. I would suggest this for a cute girls date. My husband was with us and said the scavenger hunt made it fun for him but without it, he would have only liked it because he was with us. I would say it is an 8/10 and I do recommend. I only say 8/10 because of price versus time spent in the hotel. I will say, the decor detail (and the lease) would be my guess as to why it's priced the way it is. read more

Me and my 2 friends came here right at opening a few Saturdays ago. We were the only people there besides Alexis and Andres who were working. Alexis was really kind and helpful, and she was the only positive part of our visit. After we got our tickets from her, but before entering the exhibit, we stopped at the bar. The bartender, Andres, attempted to take our order, but somehow managed to not only use the N word once, but then used it another 2 times. Then made sexist remarks when we told him that word is derogatory we did not want to hear it. We never managed to get our drinks. After this happened, I emailed management to let them know. I have still not heard back from the manager after several weeks, so I cannot be sure this matter was taken seriously. If you're thinking about getting a watermelon drink while Black and Andres is bartending, just be aware you might have to hear a racial slur a few times!!! My friend and I arrived at the "Hotel" at opening which was around 12 PM which meant there was no one else already inside. We had the place to ourselves and were able to spend a lot of time in each of the 9 rooms. The rooms used different materials and colors to create really interesting pieces of interactive art. It was an incredibly unique experience, there wasn't any music or anything that would have been disruptive to our journey throughout the different rooms. For 30$, I think it was time well spent too! Since it's the month of June, we were also given the opportunity to get a free pride flag and rainbow pin which I thought was an adorable touch. read more

Normally, the price is around $25, but they had a deal going on for $5 per person, so we decided to check it out. They have a bar located inside of the "hotel" and there were quite a few people there. If I had come without kids, we may have stopped by, and I feel like an adult beverage could have made it more of an entertaining experience. When we walked in, we were greeted, and they gave us a high-level understanding of the rooms. You have to use your "room key" to get into each room. They also have a scavenger hunt that you can participate in if you use an app on your phone. It is a good idea but it seems that was the only thing to tie the rooms together. The sweet tooth hotel was such a neat museum! There were 8 different rooms with different themes and all were perfect photo ops. I love that they limit how many people can go in at once so you don't run into other people in other rooms. It was wonderfully crafted, I had to save all of the artists' names! Got to check out this super cool art/immersive experience the other day. We went around lunchtime on a Friday which was great because you basically have the place to yourself. It is set up like a hotel with a keycard you can use to get into the different rooms/experiences. Really loved seeing all the different ways the art came to life! There is no parking lot here but plenty of parking garages nearby, it's also right across the street from the giant eyeball! This is a great place to come and take some really cute pictures in different themed rooms. The staff was great and friendly. I really enjoyed the macaroons which you can get for an additional cost. The downside that I experienced with this was that a lot of things were broken or damaged in a lot of the rooms which took away from the experience. It was great to be able to end the experience in a bar with a DJ and just enjoy the music. I wouldn't say it's worth the money, but it's a cute spot. read more

Overall this place was cool and fun. I booked some tickets here for my girlfriend's birthday. I knew right away that the colors and theming of it all would be right up her alley. They did not disappoint. She absolutely loved it! She enjoyed all the different rooms that you get access to take pictures in. I think that we must have taken pictures for at least an hour lol. It's best to make a reservation and book your tickets ahead of time. The staff at the desk were very helpful and explained everything we needed to know going into it. There is a bar that we didn't get to experience but it had a bunch of theming and a pink neon sign that any girl would love. Not sure how to describe this spot. We came here for a comedy show and this was the venue. Super cool and trendy venue with random exhibits throughout. We were disappointed in the fact that they market the bar as a craft cocktail bar but the bar ware did not match that description. It could have been due to the fact that the show was a bigger group than they are used to (and thus serve fancy drinks in plastic to go cups). Not sure. Regardless, the spot is super cool looking and totally instagrammable. Parking in the garage nearby can be super tight but they do validate which is nice. It was around 4:30 on a Saturday when we popped in after seeing it online. Let me first say this place is funky and cool and a perfect place for instagram pictures. However, the prices were insane. We ordered two of their fun drinks, (you can see how small but cute they are below) but when we got the bill it was $50. They charged us a 20% service fee on top of the expensive price per drink and then taxes, with a spot at the bottom for additional tip... Now I'm all for experience, but this was not worth the price tag. If we had done the walk through, we were looking at spending an additional $30/ticket, so for $110 for what was offered just seemed ridiculous. And the bartenders seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but there, so it was just an unfortunate overall experience for us. read more

She asked if we'd be okay with sitting at the bar which we said we were but then made no effort to clear out the people standing in front of the chairs we would have needed. And since the drinks take so long to make those spots weren't opening up anytime soon. They were doing a topo Chico event and we all won a free drink at it which was a saving graze after having to wait around 25 min at the bar to just order a drink and another 10 min for them to make 4 of the cocktails on the menu. Seems as though the cocktails are too complicated for them to make at a reasonable pace. 2/4 cocktails tasted pretty average but the other 2 were very good. Overall I probably wouldn't go back again the ambiance was cool but the service was very slow and they clearly don't value reservations. read more

With the rise of these instagram/aesthetic sports, this one can match up with the rest. We also did the Scavenger Hunt and had a blast! It made the experience that much more fun. I thought that was a unique touch that I hadn't seen at a place like this. We wanted to get a drink at the bar, but unfortunately they were not serving cocktails, only mocktails, due to not having their liquor license yet.
