Some prices seemed exorbitant to me, like the cost of the little gingerbread men my mom bought. Even their candles were pricey, but they did have a special going on. They offer many quality personal care items that would make great gifts or treat yo self opportunities. They sell quality coffee and have a few cute seating options. I was already maxed out on caffeine for the day but definitely plan to return for that. I bought an absolutely scrumptious body oil and a goat milk facial cleanser. I am happy with both products. This shop offers an eclectic bunch of artistic gifts, crystal stones, jewelry (lots of bracelets), and other knick knacks that you probably don't need but can easily be coaxed into buying. The shop is small and likely gets stuffy when it's busy, but we visited during the winter afternoon lull. Not many others were out, so it was easy to browse. My mom left with a bag full of stuff for other family members and her friends, so I'd say it was a successful visit. So I decide to run to Sweet Magnolia to replace a candle that had recently burnt out completely when, lo and behold!, there is the most gorgeous pair of gold-leafed wall sconces hanging right before my eyes! This is why I love Sweet Magnolia - you can find such elegant pieces here when you least expect it. I also appreciate that their prices don't put a huge dent in your wallet. $58 for the pair? I'll take them! The store also carries the greatest soy candles ever by Aquiesse which last a rather long time and come in several delightful fragrances. They also carry an array of other home goods - Forte teas, place settings, bath and body products, stationery, baby gifts, and jewelry. I also scored some new Avon Deoderant that I use exclusively. Avon prices are too high so I've resorted to buying this product elsewhere. There is an eclectic mix of Antiques too. I enjoyed seeing this store and the owner is very friendly. If I were closer I would frequent this store. Grabbed a vest off the rack, and went inside... greeted cheerfully by staff. Asked if I wanted to try on vest, so I did. Was surprisingly offered to be shown like 3 different ways to wear it. I was in a hurry so I didn't really get to look around. Traffic was steady with people constantly coming in. Staff were very polite, helpful and engaging.
