Super yummy drinks and food -- I haven't tried an item from the menu I didn't fall in love with & the cafe has super welcoming and accommodating staff as well :) The baristas always go the extra mile! I was highly involved with Palestine solidarity movement during college and felt very disconnected upon coming back to Yuba but this place rlly helped merge the gaps for me. It's truly showcasing the beauty of Palestinian hospitality while also bringing the local community together. From submitting my grad school apps to getting accepted to finding out I will be getting fully funded -- everything happened right here!! This place is SUCH a vibe. Everything we tried was honestly so good, and you can tell they really care about quality and balance in their flavors. Drinks: The iced Chocolate Strawberry Latte had the perfect amount of sweetness -- not overpowering at all. Super smooth and refreshing. The Banana Pudding Matcha was sooo good. The balance between the banana and matcha was just right. Not overly sweet, not too earthy -- literally perfect. Food: The Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe was HUGE! Definitely big enough to share. So fresh and flavorful. The Honeycomb Bread was delicious -- soft baked bread with cream cheese filling and topped with honey drizzle. 10/10. We also got the beef pocket (I forgot the exact name ) -- it comes warmed and was really tasty. I think serving it with a sauce option would take it to the next level, but still really good. Came in on a Monday around 1:30pm. There were a few customers sitting in the cafe. The two girls at the counter were very nice. (Looked like one was training the other) she asked if we liked sweet, strong, coffee, tea. She gave us a few suggestions. We went with the Turkish coffee and the Jubani. They were quickly made and served piping hot. Both coffees were delicious. We took our order to go but after perusing the "treat" counter we definitely want to come again and try something. : ). With cute decoration and mirrors on the wall. My first suggestion is that when we walked in we weren't greeted. There were only 3 other people inside so it wasn't busy for us to not be greeted. Aside from that the cashiers were very friendly and the girl working this day helped us choose the most popular items. Here's what we ordered: Beef hot pocket Cream cheese bagel Strawberry cheesecake crepe Iced snickerdoodle latte Iced maple brown sugar latte The beef pocket was good but I felt it was lacking some flavor. Oh my god the cream cheese bagel I believe is what the girl called it was warmed to perfection and had a creamy crunchy sweet taste! I will be coming back for this only!! I went with the cashier's suggestion with the strawberry cheesecake crepe and it was good as well. I liked the scoop of strawberry ice cream on top. As for the drinks the snickerdoodle latte was so delicious and perfectly sweet for me! However the maple brown sugar was a bit on the bitter side which I didn't like. While visiting Yuba City, I decided to try this coffee shop based on its Yelp reviews. While the pistachio latte and pistachio milk cake I ordered were enjoyable, I was very disappointed by the service. After placing my order, I waited for over 20 minutes. During this time, I observed several employees chatting behind the counter while only one person was prepared drinks. When I eventually approached the counter to check on my status, an employee asked if I still needed to order. It became clear that my items had been sitting out for some time, but no one had bothered to call my name or notify me that they were ready. I chose your café based on its positive reputation, but this experience fell short of those expectations. I hope you will look into your staffing and communication processes to ensure a better experience for future customers. read more

My wife and I stopped by to have our first go at this place. We have seen it a few times and today was the first time we had the time. Walking in we were met with a bright and open space. The tables and chairs are arranged nicely and I appreciate the huge bench space as well. The colors are simple but they pop and it makes you want to stay a while. I love the mirrors spaced evenly between each other with an awesome piece of art that is a hand holding flowers as if to say, "hey beautiful! These are for you." The cashier is friendly and the other workers are moving quickly to fulfill orders. My wife and I ordered different drinks and I ordered the Strawberry matcha. I appreciate that they have milk substitutes and that they are accommodating. My wife and I left with smiles and great expectations of our orders. My strawberry matcha is strong but with the cream it helps it to smooth out. The sweetness is perfect and the strawberries also help to ease the strength of the matcha. It's a great drink. My wife also got their pastry called Honeycomb. I have never had anything like this. I can't do the cheese but I had a piece of pastry and it smells divine and tastes like Heaven. It looks so simple but it BURSTS with flavor! All in all we had a great experience and look forward to coming back. NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: As of today, I learned that they have only be open for a week. Please do not go here or anywhere else with an attitude of entitlement. Two customers came in after us and were quite rude to the workers. Not only were they rude, they parked rude (just because you parked inside the lines doesn't mean you parked well). I am sure that this restaurant can answer for itself but as a consumer I am compelled to speak my piece. You come here to experience what this place has to offer and it is amazing! If you want the drink how YOU want, basically switching out all the ingredients and demanding to know how many shots of what and how many spoons of sugar is what - quit that. This place is not as it seems. It looks like a nice coffee shop on the outside, but while walking by I witnessed the manager yelling at employees and making them visibly uncomfortable. What makes it even weirder is that it's an all-girl staff, and there have apparently been multiple complaints about his behavior already. From what I overheard, this has been an ongoing pattern with Mohammad creating an uncomfortable work environment for the employees. The atmosphere completely changes when customers are around, almost like he's trying to hide how he acts behind the scenes. It's a family-owned business, but it feels very unprofessional that nothing is being done about the situation. Even after complaints from the employees themselves, the owner reportedly refuses to take action because he's her son. I will keep people posted and be watching around the store and hope to get video evidence. read more

I grabbed an Oreo slice after the order was called out, only to be asked to return it because it wasn't mine, despite the restaurant having plenty of other slices available - after 20 mins of ordering, I only assumed it was mine. I wasn't given an order number nor was my name taken. It was a frustrating experience, and between the high prices and lack of customer service, I won't be returning. read more

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a pristine looking & smelling shop and a friendly waitstaff. I tried the Dubai chocolate latte, a spinach fatayer, a ground beef fatayer, and a baklava. I really enjoyed the fatayers, the spinach was my absolute favorite, reminded me of spanikopita. The coffee tastes phenomenal, makes me excited to try other flavors, but this Dubai chocolate latte is a must order again! I was genuinely excited to try this new establishment in Yuba City because we do not have many places like this in our area. I also appreciated seeing their advocacy for Palestine and expected the environment to feel welcoming and community-oriented. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. From the moment my party walked in, we were met with cold and dismissive behavior. There was no greeting, no friendliness, and the staff appeared irritated by our presence. We ordered three items: a strawberry Dubai chocolate cup, baklava, and a cheese fatayer. While the Dubai cup was priced significantly higher than similar ones we have purchased elsewhere, we were happy to support a local small business and trusted the quality would reflect the price. After paying, the employee simply took our money and walked away without a single "thank you" or acknowledgment. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. When we sat down to eat, the Dubai chocolate cup immediately tasted off. All three of us agreed something was wrong with it, and it genuinely tasted expired. We politely approached the counter to let the staff know because we assumed there may have been an issue with the ingredients. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employees became defensive, rolled their eyes, and loudly discussed our complaint among themselves. One employee even admitted they had already been receiving complaints about the chocolate cups tasting bad and claimed they were using a "cheaper alternative." At that point, we respectfully requested a refund, especially considering the product tasted unsafe to eat. Instead, we were met with more attitude and told they could not refund us because we had already tried the food. We left the item behind and decided to leave. The other food items were decent at best, though they also tasted less than fresh. Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing and overshadowed the entire experience. I wanted to support this business, but based on the poor treatment, dismissive attitude, and questionable food quality, I would not recommend it. 0/10. read more
