After trying those main items, you can experiment from there with things like cookie crunch, pumpkin spice, loaded potato, or any other number of flavors. The downtown store was still kind enough to allow samples before buying- and I ended up getting several bags for holiday gatherings. Great freshly made product and easy service downtown. Street parking can be a challenge depending on time of day- but the downtown area is pleasant to walk no matter where you end up parking.

I'm a huge fan of anything coconut, so I was thrilled to see this flavor on display. The host was extremely gracious and offered us a sampling of any flavor. Before I noshed on a sample, I mentioned my dairy allergy and the host kindly alerted me to all non-dairy-based flavors. And, to my delight, coconut made the cut! We decided to go with a small tub of half toasted coconut and half cookie explosion. My wife and I are still enjoying the popcorn a week later and plan to revisit Clusters our next time up north! Check out their website at https://www.clusterspopcorn.com and view their sweet and savory flavors - with notes about GF and DF on each option.

These were honestly some of the biggest scoops I've seen at any Kilwins -- super satisfying, especially if you're looking for a treat that feels worth the price. My friend was going to order 4 scoops but ended up going with 3 after seeing how much ice cream they packed in. Just a note: as you go up in scoop count, they reduce the size of each one a bit to make it all fit, which is understandable, but good to know ahead of time. Flavor-wise, it's the usual Kilwins lineup, solid, classic options like Toasted Coconut, Salted Caramel, etc. Nothing too unexpected if you're familiar with the brand, but still delicious. The store was very busy when we visited, and while the staff was kind, respectful, and patient, the space itself could've used more attention. There was quite a bit of melted ice cream on the ground, likely from cones dripping in the heat, and with people stepping in it, the floors were noticeably sticky. Not the cleanest vibe, which took a bit away from the experience. One downside compared to other Kilwins I've been to: they didn't accept the Kilwins loyalty card here. That was a bummer since other franchise locations do honor it, and it's disappointing when you assume it'll be valid across the board. That said, the team here was happy to offer samples (which some Kilwins have stopped doing), and they moved the line efficiently even during a rush. Overall, it was a satisfying stop -- especially if you're in the mood for a big, indulgent scoop -- and I'd come back again when the craving hits.

A small, beautifully cozy space with all the cheeses you could ever wish for awaits you when you emerge from the alley leading you to this unctuous temple of deliciousness. I happened to have my daughter's initial orthodontic assessment this morning and afterwards we went to grab a coffee a few blocks away. Luckily I had parked in front of the small sign beckoning visitors to explore the small pathway and into the grip of the intoxicating cheese gods waiting inside. Not only was I immediately swept away by the selection and space, but considering the quality of cheese and breadth of choices as well as other products, the prices still sit in the "reasonable" range for a store like this. Despite being here for years, I had never known of its existence and was greeted by John, the owner who told me they have been there since 2012. I wish I had known for all this time, as the storied Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop I had gone to in years past had closed in 2017, and honestly, this spot is nicer, cleaner, a bit smaller, and has a better selection! John took the time to make me feel very invited and explain his business to me and is very knowledgeable about his craft. Introducing a friend of my daughter to cheeses recently has been an exciting adventure and I picked up a small amount of comté to take back for him to try, as it's such a staple. I will be coming back here for many years and for as long as it is here. This is the exact kind of place I have been looking for, for years! I just wish I had known sooner! Make sure if you live anywhere in the Philadelphia area or collar counties to stop by Evergreen Cheese. You can make it the center of a trip for the day to Chestnut Hill, or just a single stop alone, but don't miss this absolute hidden gem.

Also, a big thanks to the owner for running the cheddar through that machine when I ask: means I don't have to wear out an arm making stovetop mac and cheese for family events.
