Before I noshed on a sample, I mentioned my dairy allergy and the host kindly alerted me to all non-dairy-based flavors. And, to my delight, coconut made the cut! We decided to go with a small tub of half toasted coconut and half cookie explosion. My wife and I are still enjoying the popcorn a week later and plan to revisit Clusters our next time up north! Not only was I immediately swept away by the selection and space, but considering the quality of cheese and breadth of choices as well as other products, the prices still sit in the "reasonable" range for a store like this. Despite being here for years, I had never known of its existence and was greeted by John, the owner who told me they have been there since 2012. I wish I had known for all this time, as the storied Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop I had gone to in years past had closed in 2017, and honestly, this spot is nicer, cleaner, a bit smaller, and has a better selection! John took the time to make me feel very invited and explain his business to me and is very knowledgeable about his craft.
