I would definitely recommend this store.

The second he read off to me about the photos and the reviews. I said OK let's switch the GPS to go to this location. To say "I'm glad I went" would be an understatement. When we first arrived, I quickly realize it's a small town that it's located in but a warming aesthetic, standing from the outside looking in you can just tell it's nothing but treasures awaiting to be found. From the warm greeting from Tom himself, down to him taking notice to the people that walk in and placing a track on the player they may like or even if they ask for certain artists record, he will go and run and put that on for them which I thought was extremely caring, but it also let me know how much he cares about the people who come in, what he do, and how his store is ran. He was kind enough to recommend places for my husband and I to visit in London for our honeymoon. I really enjoyed mingling with other people who share alike interests in this shop. Tom has created a great community place to meet new people and perhaps make new friendships. I adore all he has in his shop its the black hole of records or doom scroll of records lol. I drive 1hr and 7 mins from Maryland just to come to this store; Rock and Roll Graveyard is a great 36min spot from me but this one I fell in love with. Thank you Tom!

It is small, has a very limited selection of used items other than some really popular stuff. It has a lot of new stuff, but some of it is overpriced. The staff was ok, but the guy working was mostly having a conversation with some random person the entire time I was in there and didn't acknowledge us until we were about to leave.

They had a large store with clearly labeled although crowded, aisles of comic, anime, cartoon, manga, clothing, and other items. This store is clearly a comic book lovers dream with a library of new and vintage ones that were for sale. They even had a basement area filled with comic books to purchase in bulk and video games to play. All in all, if you are looking for a specific comic book, manga merch, anime merch, Funko Pops and the like to add to your collection, this store is a must visit.

I had a cappuccino and it was smooth and well made, but honestly the atmosphere is what makes this place stand out. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I want something a bit different than a typical coffee shop.

This store is supposed to be one of the smallest in the chain, but doesn't show it. Large selection of books, comics, DVD/Blu-ray's, and toys/collectables. If you don't know about 2nd & Charles, most of the items are used trade-ins from other customers, so you can never be sure what will be in stock. We had several questions about prices of items behind the counter which were quickly answered and the employees were helpful. Had a good selection of Manga but a smaller selection of Anime DVD/Blu-ray's. A large selection of comic longboxes were available, but per other 2nd & Charles their organization was not the best. Overall, store was clean and organized with an on-par selection of items compared to other stores. I would return here again.

Unfortunately, pricing was generally 10-20% higher than price charting. I get it - brick and mortar, bills, employees, costs, etc. It's a hard market. Though, most of my local stores are beating price charting and offering various deals or buy 2 get 1 free. I didn't see anything like that here but maybe I missed it... In general they carry a wide selection of retro to new console games. I found games on every system that I'd like to acquire. Beyond that they had an array of figures, strategy guides, records and toys. Really cool place to check out. They even had an N64 Sculptors Cut which is super rare.
