Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I went to the window to order two small snowballs with creamy flavors, and the total was $10.50.I asked the lady for condensed milk and strawberries. She told me I couldn't get strawberries on the side and that they had to be on the snowball. Because of that, I canceled the strawberries. When I received my snowballs, there was no condensed milk on them. When I asked about it, the lady in the back said she didn't charge me for condensed milk. I explained that I did ask for condensed milk, and she responded by saying it would be $1.07. I had no problem paying the $1.07 - I just wanted what I asked for. Instead of simply adding it, she started hollering and speaking with an attitude. I understand businesses can get busy, but there is still a way to talk to customers respectfully. The issue wasn't the $1.07 - it was the poor customer service and attitude! Terrible! read more

me and my mom go here all the time! if your lucky enough you will be greeted by the family's daughter. she has a very sweet and soft voice and a pretty smile!! the snow cones are made very quick, and they are always soooo delicious! you can get fresh fruit on your drink too. (did I mention there's cheesecake slices?) and the overall stand gives off a vibe that makes you feel at ease! (unless it's 103 degrees outside.) read more

The only reason this place didn't get a 5 star rating was the fact that they are missing a lot of the flavors on their menu (supply shortage maybe?) and they only had the small or Large sizes on deck. The lady was very enthusiastic to take my order and my cup was filled to the brim. I thought I would like it more, but it is just ok. It's basically ice with a flavored syrup plus ice cream, condensed milk, and fruits. The ice cream was not the best. But I liked the fruits. We got a banana and piña colada. We didnt like it as much but it maybe just the flavors we got. The staff was really nice tho! 5 stars for customer service! Stumbled across this place by going to the local supermarket nestled away from the busy roads lays Sweet Dulce. If you are literally not looking for this place chances are you probably wont find it. Its located on a off beaten path on Gorenflo Rd next to Texaco. Decided to drop in and see what they had to offer. After pulling up I quickly noticed this is a to go order place and offered a couple of chairs on the side for you to relax and enjoy your shaved ice. There was a couple of people in front of us but quickly we were served. They offer a huge amount of different kind of syrups for your shaved ice and also have a creamed flavor syrup as well. There is plenty of toppings to choose from too. They give the option of fresh fruit as in strawberries, kiwi, mango, and canned pineapple. You can always add candy, and chocolate syrups as well but the best is the condensed milk because it adds a tremendous amounts of flavor to the shaved ice I know it might sound funny but dont knock it until you try it! They also have specialty custom shaved ice drinks they came up with and thats what we decided to try. We went ahead and ordered the sweet birthday cake and wow I'm glad we did. It was packed with flavor from everything to the birthday cake syrup and the creamy vanilla ice cream in the center and the freshly chopped sweet strawberries sitting in that sweet syrupy condensed milk garnished with sprinkles. The flavors was spot on and definitely kicked me back from being hot and humid to a neutral feeling. We also decided to try half lychee and lavender vanilla shaved ice. WOW the combination between them too paired so well! The lychee wasn't overpowering but had subtle flavors of it while the lavender vanilla was just right. It had a very nice warm feeling of a flower aroma to it with a strong burst of vanilla flavor coming from it. Overall nice spot! Great customer service and offer great shaved ice at a conveniently fair price. I definitely will be back to try more of the flavors and see what else this small place has to offer! read more

Off the beaten path is very descriptive, but it's not too far. Sweet Dulce is just north of the Scarlet Pearl Casino on Gorenflo Road. There is plenty of parking in their private lot. Order at the window from a wide variety of flavors. I got a sugar free Piña Colada, the wife a creamsicle that had ice cream and real cream in it. The folks were nice, and the shave ices were large. This is the best shaved ice on the coast. They are professional and very kind hearted people. I can actually taste the flavor as I eat my shaved ice. Flavors are really good. Make sure your order is read back to you correctly when paying, but staff is helpful if something in your order is incorrect. They are VERY BUSY in the summer time & on weekends when a snowball must be on everyone's mind. So be prepared to wait, but it's well worth the wait. This stand is ALWAYS open (7days) compared to other stands whose hours fluctuate often. If you're used to paying $.50 for cream, sour spray, etc. be prepared to pay $1 for any extra add-ons. They do have fresh fruit that you can add to your snowballs (so good) however; they have canned pineapple as an add-on that I didn't too much care for. read more

I grew up in D'Iberville and we had snow cone places that serve the same sugary sweet crunchy ice snowcones. This is not that. It's much much more. Every time I come home to visit I stop here. And although there are wonderful choices to add to your snowcones, such as sweeten condensed milk, ice cream, fresh fruit, and much much more, I always get the simple coconut snowcone. Snowballs are good but there is a serious gnat issue! Gnats are biting and even flying in my nose. The only thing they could say is we've tried to get rid of them. Simple soap and water would help! Don't ask to try flavors because you can only try one per visit. read more

I took my boys to try this snowball stand yesterday and we loved it! They had so many flavors and add-on options. The workers were very fast too. It only took like 3-4 minutes to get our 3 snowballs. My only suggestion would be to add some picnic tables so we could sit outside and eat our snowballs. They do have a few chairs available. We'll definitely be back! read more
