My coworkers and I had a team outing here earlier this month and it was one of the funnest events we've had together. The space is intimate and brightly lit. You can bring your own wine and food, but it's also supplied. 100% a great idea for girls night or family night, or anything that brings people together to do something creative. The owner was really accommodating but also hands-off at the same time, if that makes sense, so we had a lot of freedom to do whatever the hell we wanted. It was a lot of fun making a mess with dirt and different succulents. The succulents are healthy and there's a wide variety of pretty cool-looking ones. I fit about 12 succulents into my box and it looks beautiful. She also provides colored moss, stones, even ideas. I feel like it's a pretty good bang for your buck, considering that your arrangement is pretty much however many plants you can stuff into your box. Tip: If you want your succulents to pop out, fill your box to the top with dry dirt before arranging your plants on top. I left about an inch of space and my succulents are sunken kind of low into the box. read more

Lindsay is such a gifted florist ~ her designs with greenery and such beautiful white flowers made our daughter's wedding truly breathtaking. We were stunned by how gorgeous everything was from the archway to the tables to the bridal bouquets. We also loved working with Lindsay. My mom and I attended the succulent wreath workshop last night and we are so glad we did! Lindsay and Nicole were wonderful hosts and made sure we had what we needed to make a beautiful project. Great venue for a girls/friends night. Small enough that you are able to interact with others and the instructor but not crowded. The vibe is modern and charming and you immediately feel eager to learn something new as you walk in. Lindsay is a great host, teacher and incredibly personable. The location is also ideal. I'll admit going to PB never excites me as I'm past that phase of life but the shop is a few blocks from the night life, which makes you feel like you're not even in PB. But if that's your scene and your friends want to grab drinks or dinner afterwards you are incredibly close to a plethora of options. Lindsay did our flowers for our 200-person wedding, and they were stunning. When I arrived she had all my bouquets in water, ready for the photographer. I can't say enough how much I loved my bouquets. The colors were perfect, they were exactly the simple greenery with blush colors I wanted that wouldn't overpower our venue (it was outdoors with lots of greenery around). She also made boutonnieres for our 9 groomsmen which came out exactly as I had envisioned. We had a day-wedding at Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona, Lindsay set up the ceremony site laying rose petals and garland, in addition to our 22 tables of vase flowers and garland. It was a big wedding and Lindsay was on top of it, I didn't have to think or worry about any details, she had it covered. I attended a team outing at Sweet DIYGs where we did succulent planters - it was super fun with BYO wine and cheese, and Lindsay is very knowledgeable about her craft. But this review is really about how Lindsay did the decor and boutonnieres for my wedding in November! While attending the workshop, I talked to Lindsay about my wedding and decided succulents would be perfect for a San Diego fall wedding. The rest is history. We brainstormed together to make the vision come to life a few months later. We wanted a garland that stretched the length of the table, but I hate wasting, so wanted also reuse in the arch and sweetheart table the next day.
