I don't think I've ever had an iced caffeine mocha as creamy and taste bowl as this one. Sometimes you can taste the bitterness of the espresso, which I'm not a fan of, but this one was incredible. Po-Ke - A Restaurant That Has Grabbed Our Attention…read more There are a couple of similarly named restaurants called Po-Ke in Calgary. I'm reviewing the Po-Ke at: 908A Centre Street North. Po-Ke's website reads "Bringing the traditional Hawaiian dish with the incorporation of Japanese and West Coast flavors to Calgary." They sure do, and it has been my favorite Calgary restaurant since I found it over eight months ago. My daughter gave my wife and myself the heads up as to the merits of eating at Po-Ke. This was about eight months ago, and due to Covid, we have been ordering in via DoorDash to our home. We have ordered at Po-Ke at least twice a month over the last eight months. Each time, the dishes ordered have been consistent with extremely fresh ingredients. That includes their delicious spicy rice and shrimp bowls, which I've become quite addicted to. I may not recognize every ingredient, but their dishes are above what one would expect for amy delivered food. I can't wait until Covid is given the boot, so we can dine in person. If you like spicy, ethic food, and are adventurous, you really must give Po-Ke a try!
