This is probably the cutest doughnut shop I have ever seen. My son and I stopped by on a Saturday early afternoon for some doughnuts. They didn't have a vast selection but the doughnuts were good. I called ahead since one reviewer (complaint) just said the times on the website and the business were different. I have not found the pages where it said it opens at 6. Everything I see says 7. I'm going to leave an actual review . I didn't try their ice cream or drinks. The overall look of the place is super cute. I'm sitting on a clamshell type chair right now and don't want to leave, it's super comfortable. I'm also listening to good ol' Guns and Roses so my Gen X heart is happy. I bought a few of their specialty doughnuts they are 3.85 each and I bought some regular yeast, and cake doughnuts, those are 2.99 each. They have specials for a dozen like everywhere. They were so very nice! I went when it was slow. The two people working were very helpful. All in all I bought 6 doughnuts. 1. Nutella 2. Boston cream 3. Caramel cheesecake 4. Pistachio old fashioned 5. Blueberry old fashioned 6. Chocolate frosted I ate the Boston Cream while writing this. It's a pretty good doughnut and super fresh. The biggest thing I noticed about the doughnut was that it was sweet but really not sugary if that makes sense. (Now they are playing Journey! Don't stop believing! Yes cliche white chick singing the chorus like a mad woman) it was just perfect for a cup of coffee. I really liked my choice. I'll be curious what my hubby thinks when he tries the old fashioned ones and when we split the other specialty doughnuts!!! Time to go home and I'm exiting listening to Aerosmith Dream On. Stopped in to try the donuts. I tried the crème brûlée cronut which I thought was very good. The other two in my party tried the breakfast sandwiches. One sausage and egg and one bacon and egg. Those were not as good as the cronut. According to the people eating the bagel needed to be toasted more. It was way too chewy according to them. It also wasn't hot enough. The place is clean and lots of donut options and plenty of parking. Service was good. read more

Donuts are not individually priced. A dozen is advertised as $20, but all of the donuts we select were up charged. So paid $32 for a dozen. The chocolate frosting glaze has a gelatinous texture (not good). The donuts were overall flavorless. read more

I was very pleased by not only the food but the atmosphere, and staff. The staff are so kind, generous, and work efficiently. We got there early enough in the day where they were fully stocked. We got a chance to try almost all of the donuts they had displayed and were not disappointed by any of them! We also tried the avocado toast and a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. These two items met our expectations nothing to write home about in particular, but still very tasty. Will definitely be heading back soon to try their drink menu! Overall would definitely recommend Sweet Circle, you won't be disappointed. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Sweet Circle this morning! First, if you look at my reviews you would notice I don't give bad reviews! I went in with the intent of buying about four donuts so I could sample multiple donuts they offer for sale! I told the server I'd like the pistachio old fashion but before I could order another one she got busy bagging the old fashion so I said I'd like to order at least three more and could she use a small box! She replied that I'd have to order more for a box so I just replied that I will take that one donut and I would t be returning! I did this because she wasn't interested that this was my first time in the shop, nor was she interested that as a customer I'm super loyal and habitual when or where I spend my money plus I tip very well and I'd pay for the small box if she offered BECAUSE those donuts were beautiful and looked tasty but when you put those in a bag half of all that goodness usually ends up on the bag!! The donut I purchased was super good but the service SUCKED and it's a sign of the times, like it's a privilege for me to give you my hard earned money!! Super disappointed but I recommend this establishment because the donut I had was delicious and I'm not gonna shit on a place because of one person who works there who probably doesn't like her job or just didn't like my energy - either way I won't return but you should try them... 5 out 5 for the Food 3 out 5 for the shitty person behind the counter read more

Not a review, but a complaint. Newspaper said they opened in February, but when I went there, it was still under construction. Finally came back again today, website says they opened at 6am, I got there at 7am, closed. Not lights on. No one there. Not sure I am going to try again. read more

I recently stopped by Sweet Circle in Schererville, located in the strip mall next to Scott's auto. The restaurant was so cute...I mean, mom's, this is the place to take your little ones all dressed up in their princess gowns! Definitely a photo op venue. But, no worries, the decor is appropriate for everyone. I ordered two of their premium donuts, a blueberry cheesecake and a Dubai chocolate (a.k.a. chocolate with pistachio). The blueberry was my favorite with plenty of filling and a nice, not too sweet, but sweet enough icing. My hubby noted how fresh the dough was, although he would have preferred a heavier slathering of the chocolate icing on his. Everyone has their preferences, right? They had more traditional donuts, and I believe some smaller-sized donuts. (Don't quote me on this...a family was in front of me and blocked the display case.) Customer service was great. My negative comment is on the clear plastic clam shell packaging vs. something more earth friendly. Yes, prices for my premium choices were a bit high, but for me, a donut is a luxury and not a habit. I will visit again! read more
