Beautiful coffee shop Highly recommended…read more Good coffee Great service They serve pastries and a huge selection of chocolate. In the middle of the City of London is a great place to unwind

They even have the fanciest gift boxes you've ever seen outside of Fortnum & Mason. Despite once having been solely a chocolate shop, the interior gives off some posh vibes that invite you to stay awhile. Weather permitting, they also have outdoor seating for some ultimate people-watching. The coffee itself could use some improvement, but overall, it isn't terrible. They serve it with a side of chocolates, so you could chew on the sweet merchandise to cut through the bitterness of the overly-roasted java. Service isn't always the fastest if you're sitting down to eat or drink, but it's more of a "come in and stay awhile" kind of place, anyway. If you are coming in to stay a while, however, expect to pay a lot more than the price of your coffee. My £3.60 oat flat white somehow turned into £6.36 when I got my bill. Considering everything you're getting in one stop, as well as the touristy area it's in, however, you could do worse. They even have a washroom, which - if you're familiar with this part of town - can be a Godsend.

For a tiny place, we were here a while because there's a lot to choose from. Counter service was courteous and prices aren't anything to complain about either. When I was younger and lived in the UK I absolutely loved Bon Bon's, especially the lemon ones…read more Now I didn't just like any Bon Bon's I enjoyed the traditional ones, none of the imitation brands. The last decade when going back I've never found good ones in a pick n mix or in the bags at the grocery stores, I was only able to find cheaper versions and then I stumbled across Hardy's in London! Wow they have the most delicious Bon Bon's in every flavor you can possibly think of! I needed them to last a while so I bought a pre mixed bag for around 3 pound that had toffee, apple, blue berry, vimto, lemon, strawberry...you name the flavor and they had it! The other cool thing about this shop for UK residents is that they have all the "American" candy along with Flips pretzels, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff and other goodies. To me I obviously have this stuff everyday but my local friend was just as excited about the American candy and treats as I was with the bon bon's, we definitely walked out with a sugar high!

Picked up a multitude of Chocolate Blocks from their buy 3 for £5 special & there wasn't a bad one in the bunch.... if we visited again, I'd want to try their truffles Have to agree w/ Katri S that all the chocolates seemed to taste the same & what was interesting to me was that each started out w/ a weird 1st bite but then settled into yummy creamy chocolate after a few more bites. Guess it took a while for my palate to get used to their recipe? We tried the following & nothing really stood out & screamed * Milk Chocolate Fudge - supposed to have pieces of fudge but all I tasted was a creamy choco bar. It was good * Dark Chocolate Berry Boost - this obviously wasn't for me since I think it's a sin to mix fruit w/ my chocolate but no raving feedback received regarding it being outstanding * Belgian Milk Chocolate - basic milk choco bar * Chili Dark Chocolate - this had very little chili flavor & def no heated afterbite kick * Special Toffee - the toffee was chewy & made my teeth stick together. The best of the bunch * Venezuela Milk Chocolate - this tasted like every other Milk Chocolate bar I tried It was all good & I'd even say it was A-OK, but to rank it as Yay! I'm A Fan, I'd have to be craving it & wanting to seek it out on my next visit & for some reason, I'm just not

However, if I happen to wander by the shop I am sure to get my chocolates from there rather some other supermarket brand. It's still yummy!
