From the chicken pot pie handpie to the pineapple passionfruit Danish, they have original flavors that work. Its probably a good thing I don't live closer or I might go broke.

I was so joyfully greeted on this cloudy & rainy morning. I immediately wanted one of everything, so I asked for a moment to take in all the wonderful offerings and make my selection. I immediately knew I wanted fresh bread to take home & selected the cinnamon raisin bread loaf. They kindly sliced it for me before bagging it up. I also chose the Banana Nut Muffin with Chocolate Chips. I planned to take my goodies home, but barely made it to the car before I dig into the muffin and ended uo finishing the entire thing in the car - it was SOOO good and so filling! When I got home I dug into the bread. My favorite bread back home was the raisin hazelnut and Bresnan's cinnamon raisins is better! Full of soft raisins the bread, while I hate this word can't think of a better description, was moist. I ate another slice and then my son (picky eater) asked for a bite. He was so impressed he asked for a slice. It's been 24hrs and there are 3 slices left! I may have to go back again this week to get another loaf. There will be many more reviews of Bresenan to come as I plan to go back and try other breads as well as the baked goods and cookies. I also plan to bring a book on one of these visits. Maybe set up in the beautiful window seats or a cozy and quiet table to enjoy my fresh baked treat with a coffee and relax.

Bresnan Bread and Pastry - I don't blame them..if you are the best at what you do charge for it...I probably would pay more than $5.75 now that I've tasted it

This cake was for my long distance bestie (i.e. I'm in NJ and she lives in TX), and the level of professionalism, communication, flexibility, and humor was the best I've ever experienced from a bakery, and they were a 100% a pleasure to coordinate with. Nashiii loved her birthday cake, as did her kids (i.e. went with their favorite flavor: strawberry), and I got so much joy sending her and her family a yummy treat, decorated with plenty of love and trolling courtesy of Sugar Ray's Bakery team. Many thanks to the rock stars at Sugar Ray's Bakery; you made a special moment incredibly memorable and I appreciate every bit of it! Yall are the absolute best!!!

Each and every mouthful had a moist and delicious taste and was completely sweet. The service here is exceptionally sweet, mirroring the undeniably amazing cupcakes. The ladies carefully packs all of the orders, and they are consistently kind and always welcoming, therefore making the experience considerably better. Any cupcake lover should visit this place. It is a good place whether someone is planning ahead along with grabbing a last-minute treat! I look forward to all my future visit.

And actually, it's not in the middle of "nowhere" so much as lots of rural houses but no other restaurants. Also, there's no proper bathroom, just a porta potty. *But* that was the only downside. And the restaurant was so bright and nice. I'm sure they've done all they can with a limited location/budget. Besides the main restaurant, there's a food truck next door, and I think it's all really the same owners. The latter has desserts (I got the arroz con leche), hamburgers, et al. I think they have daily specials? There was a sign in the back, but partially blocked. Like, Wed is chili relleno, Thu enchiladas, Fri fish tacos, Sat/Sun menudo? You can ask. The waitress was very friendly and competent, and I felt her English was pretty good. But I still ended up just googling some of the menu for my own understanding. When I learned they had cabeza tacos, I had to try that. If I had the room, I'd have tried the "bombapal" which looks like a lot of nopal and a lot of food overall. Curious! From FB, I saw they had a tortilla soup today ($9.80). The waitress said it was good, so I ordered it. She was right! It was really tasty. Also, she put two salsa bottles on the table, and she said one was hot, and the other was really hot ... but that they were both really hot. Lol. She was right! They were both distinct and had a very good kick. For a "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican place, this had really nice lighting and ambience (except for no indoor toilet). Everything was clean and bright. I'm curious to try all their other authentic dishes!

The picnic tables are under trees, willow tree, that was bothersome. Go to the restroom before you head over there bc the only facility is a port o'potty. There are a lot of ants so some pest control would be a good idea.
