These folks know sweepers like nobody else. I have taken my old faithful Dyson there many times for repair and the last couple times they fixed it on the spot for free. But my Dyson finally breathed its last (after 24 years) so I needed a new sweeper. The gentleman there recommended a Titan and I'm not disappointed. About 4 years ago I came to Sweeper City to buy a new light weight vacuum cleaner and received the most knowledgeable and honest advice I ever received in any home appliance purchase. Even more impressive is the service I received for a minor clog I had with that purchase. Service was fast and the gentleman was so nice and informative on how to handle the issue myself in the future if I so desired. I recently had a small service need only to find out that the owner has passed away. My sincere condolences to the family. I know his service and shop in the community will be greatly missed. Hopeful that someone continues it however, understandable if not. read more

My vacuum was "sparking" and I assumed the cost to fix was more than I wanted to spend. As a last ditch effort, I took it to Keystone Vacuums and they fixed it within a week for less than the cost of a cheap one! He even offered to take it to my car! Excellent customer service! read more

I give it one star because I have to! Called for service on whole home vacuum system in which they installed a few years back, and getting them to service, or heck even respond is a nightmare. It took over 2 months to finally get someone out here, and when they were here it was a joke. They were supposed to get me some pricing on a new controller, and still have never heard back. I called them 2 months after the fact just to see what was going on, and just like normal, "oh we will have someone call you back on this", that was over 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I took my aging canister vacuum cleaner in for repair, and could not have been more pleased with the courteous service I received; both Bill and Bob were very knowledgeable and reassuring. The work took less than a week and when I picked it up it was so pristine and shiny I hardly recognized it. After a couple of weeks of use I'm happy to report that it is actually cleaning better than when it was new. Good job, guys! read more

This store carries the best sweepers in the world and they know how to help you pick them. We bought a Bernina 6000 and a Sebo about 15 years ago. They repaired/restored the Bernina (we broke it) and carry parts for these very old models. We will buy our next sweepers (if we ever need one) from them for sure. read more

I ordered a outer vaccuum bag from this company online. I recv'd order but it was not the correct bag. I called the company, asked them what the return policy was as I just wanted to exchange it for the correct bag. The woman on the phone was so rude and started yelling at me telling me it was the right bag they all fit. I had already taken this bag with my vac to the local vac dealer he could not get it on either. THe woman told me to hold on and was on hold for over 10 minutes. I finally hung up. I have never been treated so poorly by a company. I own a house cleaning company and am always looking for someone that I can do bzn with. I would stay far far away from this company read more

This business stole $34.88 from me. I ordered a wand & hose for my electrolux vacuum. When the items arrived, I discovered that the motor in the vacuum was damaged beyond repair. I returned the items to the store. I received an e-mail advising that the wand was scratched and damaged beyond repair and they were deducting $34.88 from my refund. I faxed letters to them and wrote e-mails requesting pictures. I never got any cooperation from them. They never responded to my letters or e-mails and kept my $34.88! read more

The old man who runs the place is a jerk.....had to take the sweeper back after a $200 repair for the exact same thing....after looking at the part that was marked up from the first visit, he insisted they changed the part and then asked me what I used it for, like I was abusing it or something.....said he would refix at no charge, and had to keep calling for 2 weeks to see if he got the parts in yet, kept saying no, finally, I snapped on him, and all of a sudden it is fixed with used parts......told him we would never return to this store....he is an mean man....also hung up on me when I called him, as the other reviewer stated....should not run a business, has no decency....he acted like he was doing us a favor to refix after already paying him for a shoddy repair. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called sweeper city to get a part for my Rotho vacuum. I spoke with "Bill" who said he would have to call his distributor to get part availability and pricAfter waiting several days without getting a call back, I called sweeper city and again spoke with Bill. He said he didn't hear from his distributor and said I didn't need to call back, he would call me. I waited two weeks and didn't hear from him so I called back, again speaking with Bill. He said he didn't hear from distributor and when I asked what the problem was, he became indignant and said he was too busy to help me and I should call the person I bought the vacuum from. He then hung up on me. This man is ignorant and has no clue what good customer service is. I subsequently called another business in Allentown and my problem was resolved in 5 minutes. This company was awful to deal with! I just ordered a Dirt Devil Broom Vac! It arrived broken - seemed like a mfg defect. I just wanted a new unit sent out and the broken unit picked up. The guy on the phone was rude & implied I had broken the unit. I only had the unit for 5 min! He then backtracked & took his comment back however was still rude. He then told my husband we would not get a refund & hung up on us. Upon calling back, another man answered the phone (man said he was the "repair guy") - the repair guy said he could not help us. Repair guy stated owner was the only one who could help us and the owner was "out". When we asked who the owner was we were told "Bill". When we asked Bill who? We were once again hung up on. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and with Dirt Devil (Royal Appliance) - I have also emailed this company directly as I have followed their return policy to a "T". My next step is handing this over to my attorney - which will be done. No free $72.27 for Sweeper-City - do they think I am Obama? read more
