For them to be honest when they break or lose parts and not just put whatever bolt they want. Ask questions if you are not sure how to do something. No oil leaks when I took it there, but left with 2. I had to buy and replace another valve cover gasket. Just to realize the oil is leaking from the timing chain cover/gasket. Losing a quart of oil a day. If yall want to make this right, just call me and we can talk about about yall fixing the problem yall created at yalls expense. 2512531669 read more

I got a flat tire driving, and they were able to get me in quick and easy to repair the tire! Only $25 too!

Called ahead and asked if they worked on exhaust and they said yes. They said to come at 10am showed up and said they had other cars still working on so had to come the next day. Came again and waited a hour and half just for the front lady to explain the car codes I already knew about. She said they couldn't really do nothing because their mechanic that did know about exhaust quit either that same day or yesterday. there goes 2 days worth of my own time I'm not getting back all for them to use a scanner and read it to me smh. don't bother with this place. read more

Great customer service! Very nice and I was able to have my new tires mounted quickly! They had no problem with my truck having spacers, like other places did! Reasonable price too! I highly recommend!!!! read more

Sweat Tire - Hardware I picked up on the road! - Tires Near Me - Robertsdale, Alabama

DO NOT Recommend. I almost never write reviews, and I was very hesitant to write this one. I also emailed Jonathan, the main manager in Robertsdale, multiple times and followed up repeatedly, but he never responded. I've been a loyal Sweat Tire customer in Bay Minette for over 10 years and have spent thousands of dollars there with consistently good service. That history makes this summer's experience with the Fairhope and Bay Minette locations especially disappointing. In early July, I brought my son's 4Runner to Fairhope for an A/C issue and was told it needed a new compressor. After paying one amount, I was immediately told there had been a "system error" and I actually owed more--bringing the total to over $1,000. The A/C still blew hot air, and a new thumping noise started before I even left the parking lot. Only then was I told the "new" compressor was bad and that a better one would now be ordered. What followed was six weeks of back-and-forth between two locations, speaking with three different managers, and repeatedly having to leave work, drop off the car, pick it up, return it again, and re-explain the entire situation every time. The diagnosis changed multiple times--from compressor, to evaporator core, to hose assemblies--with every promised completion date missed. By mid-August, after all those parts and all those delays, I was finally told the real issue was an A/C wire that hadn't been connected properly. That simple connection is what ultimately fixed the problem. Altogether, I spent almost $3,000 over six weeks for misdiagnoses, unnecessary parts, back-and-forth travel, and missed deadlines. My son had to leave for college without his vehicle, and my family was down cars for part of the summer because of the ongoing delays. After a decade of loyalty, this was exhausting, frustrating, and deeply disappointing. I hope Sweat Tire takes steps to ensure no one else goes through an experience like this. read more

I'm so glad Sweat Tire has an outlet in Elberta. They were voted Best of Baldwin. Super nice people ready to help solve your problems.

No organization, no communication. You will sit there for 5 hours until they ask what are you waiting on. At least they didn't charge me. Do not use. read more

I needed front brakes for my '23 Colorado. Previously, I was very pleased with the job Sweat did turning the front rotors which they did quickly and at a very reasonable cost. A short while later and after shopping around, I found Sweat was very competitive at pricing the front brake replacement. Although we miscommunicated on the timing of the work, they took the truck in and did the job while I had lunch across the street. However once finished, I was informed they were unable to reset the vehicle status system to show the brakes had been replaced, that I'd have to take it to the dealership for this. As it turns out, the dealer wanted $140+ for the reset. Had I known Sweat either didn't have the expertise or equipment to do what I'd consider a necessary part of completing the job, I would have taken it to the dealer in the first place. As it stands, the added cost put my total above what the dealership would have charged for the job and I would have gotten a 2 year warranty. Understanding today's vehicles are much more complicated than older models, it's my opinion a shop shouldn't accept the work if they can't do everything required to complete it. read more

These guys are really good folks. I live in northwest Fla. And was traveling to Birmingham and had a tire going down. I pulled in asked if they could make repair. They pulled tire off, found leak and patched tire. Literally had me back on the rode in 15 minutes. It was like 430pm on a Thursday evening and flooding rain. Last thing I wanted to have to do was change a tire. They took care of me. read more

I am from out of town and popped a tire. It was around 345 on a Friday and we were told to go to Sweat tire. We arrived at the shop around 415 and they close at 5. Never once did they make us feel rushed or seem irritated that we were there that close to closing. They had us out in about 20 minutes. There were people who came in after us and they treated everyone the same, no one was irritated...which surprised me, in a good way, obviously! I wish we had a sweat tire in my town so I could go to them for any of my auto needs. read more

These guys saved us. We had a flat on I-10, and found a local guy to come out and put on our spare (we didn't have a jack.) But after he left, and we got back on the road, it pulled to the left real hard, so we limped into Sweat, where they saw us immediately, diagnosed severely misaligned toes up front, revealed that the other front tire was about to go (worn down to the belt plies), hustled up two perfect replacements, did the best aligning they could do, recommended we find an alignment shop down the road in the town we were staying, which we did. They aligned it to perfection...but it was Sweat who saved the vacation. Friendly, too. Count on them! read more

Let me take an opportunity to let the community know that SWEAT TIRES came to my family's rescue!!! We are two moms traveling back to Dallas with our 4 special needs children in the vehicle when OUR BOAT DETACHED from our vehicle. This company came right out with a heavy duty jack and put it right back on for us! AND... he spliced our broken trailer lights back together! ALL with the kindest smile on his face! We feel like they were our knight and shining Armor! We HIGHLY recommended Rick and Travis and this this entire company read more

We visited Gulf Shores for a vacation and on the day we were leaving to drive back to Kentucky I noticed a huge screw in the side of my tire while getting gas. It was still early morning so there wasn't a store open. We were close to Riviera Tire and waited for 35 minutes until they opened but they told me they couldn't help me because they were booked. I thought that was VERY poor form. I drove to sweat tire and they were great! Offered to change my tire and didn't even charge me. Highly recommend! Great customer service! read more

Unbelievably rude unbelievably slow. Stood there for 3 hours watching the little kid mounting my tires work for 5 minutes then go vape for 10. I could've gotten hired, learned, and changed them myself in that time. Find another tire shop read more

Sweat Tire and his team do a fantastic job. There has been times when they have responded at a moments notice, offsite to get things done for me. There are very busy, and they are busy because a lot of people use them. If you need auto repairs, Dewane and his crew will be very helpful. They do have 3 different locations in Baldwin County also. read more

I made a 'FIRM, first service call appointment' (on THEIR schedule / calendar) for them to send their service truck to where my RV is parked & hooked up. The kid is to perform a routine "tires removal, TPMS install & tires remount" job. When I made the Appt, I gave them all of the instructions, information and details they would need so they could arrive properly equipped and able to do the job. After waiting more than an hour beyond their ETA, I called & they did NOT have us scheduled nor did they have a truck available (out on other calls)! I took a day off from work to be available. They never called and just would not have shown up at all, had I not contacted them. Also, they lied to me about their capabilities & informed me they might need to lift my RV, place it on jack stands, take the tires back to the shop install the TPMS units & return sometime later to re-mount the wheels!!! Our RV is the very best trailer Airstream builds, and they wanted to just 'suspend' it above ground on jack stands in a very windy area for some unknown duration!!! Needless to say, I "cancelled" them and will find a better company to get our job done. read more

At first I was satisfied but when I picked up my truck it ran WORSE than it was when I brought it in. Once I picked the truck up I was told the coils needed to be replaced. After looking at the coils there are a few bolts striped (which were NOT before), also there was a lose hose that was "fixed" by putting tape... Truck is still not running properly and now having to find a different shop to correct the "repairs" preformed here! read more

Read their ratings and decided to take my wheels here to be mounted and balanced. Needless to say that was a massive mistake. The mechanic who did not give two shits about my wheels decided he would just grab whatever spray solvent he had lying around to spray on my aluminum NOT CHEAP wheels and guess what?! He got those weights to stick but, whatever this person sprayed ATE ALL THE CLEAR COAT OFF MY WHEELS. I am having to get my wheels re painted now because of this. So PLEASE BEWARE, IF YOU LOVE YOU WHEELS AND CARE FOR THEM DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT GIVE A SHIT. read more

We were traveling to the beach towing a 5th wheel trailer and had 3 tires go bad. 2 blew out and one was not far from going. My insurance company would only tow 25 miles which was no help. I called Sweat Tire in Bay Minette, Al told them of my situation. They came out all the way to Interstate 65 with 4 new tires and changed them on the spot all for a more than reasonable price. This saved our trip. The 2 technicians were extremely efficient working right on the side of the interstate. I could not be more happy with the service and quick response. Highly recommend them for your tire needs. read more

can't express how amazing and helpful this place was! we stopped here on our way home from vacation after some car troubles and they were GREAT!!! read more

We were on vacation and developed a slow leak in our tire. These folks came highly recommended to us so we stopped. They told us they would get our car looked at "in a few minutes" and that few minutes turned in to 3 hours. We sat there for three hours waiting on them to do something that in the end took about 15 or 20 minutes to fix. All they had to do was patch up our tire because we got a nail in it. We were not pleased at all. Yes, they were busy that day but there's no sense in making somebody who's there on vacation wait three hours to get a nail out of their tire and patch it up! read more

I went to get an alignment, they told me I needed a front end replacement before they could align it. (CV axles, tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, ect.) Went to get a second and third opinion from other mechanics and they said nothing was wrong with my front end besides needing new CV axles, everything else looked good. Don't know why they are starting to act like big dealerships trying to pump money out of gullible customers!! read more
