Fayaz is so nice and explained everything throughly. It's a really cool concept. You alternate between sauna and cold plunge, but you pick the pace. The health benefits are endless. I honestly have felt great ever since my session today. You definitely push yourself with the cold plunge, it takes some getting used to. The water is 50°! The rooms are private and cozy with a nice shower. You can also bring a friend for a couples session which we enjoyed bonding over! Towels are provided plus a hairdryer for after your session. I think the price is also great and well worth it. Check it out!

From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and gave a quick tour of the facility. They answered all of my questions and helped me set up for a smooth session. Before arriving I stopped at Village Juice, mentioned where I was heading, and they prepared drinks for before, during, and after my workout. Being well‑hydrated definitely enhanced the overall comfort of the visit. The studio itself was very clean . There are four private rooms two infrared‑sauna suites and two contrast‑therapy suites with showers and a small area where you can blow‑dry your hair after the contrast portion. I left feeling refreshed and decided to purchase a four session of the contrast therapy. What's great is they offer several options for wide range of budgets. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable, making it easy to feel confident about the process. Booking is straightforward through their app, which syncs with the studio's schedule in real time. I highly recommend PureSweat for anyone looking for a clean, well run sauna and contrast therapy experience.

I wanted to surprise my mom and aunt with a spa day for Christmas. I wasn't sure how comfortable…read morethey would be, so I wanted to take them to a black-owned location, not too far from town. I found Ma'ati Spa online and was pleased, initially, because they show diversity in their images on the website. They were also offering serious discounts, so I was able to book online: a couples massage package for my mom and aunt and a massage+ for myself. I called to schedule the appointment and had no problem in after Christmas on short notice. Pros: Staff was very friend, helpful, accommodating, and skilled. Not everyone is a chatterbox (my aunt enjoyed having her services explained; my mom enjoyed the quiet). The deep tissue massage with Dominic is BOMB! Get that. I found the decor lovely and want to visit in the summer so I can enjoy the outside area. Street parking was free and plentiful. Cons: They don't offer robes and slippers for every guest, which was off-putting for my mom. The facial steam is so-so. I think it's free, but I wouldn't pay for it. The foot reflexology was uninspired. It just felt like a foot massage and I was expecting something more from the description online. The music in the waiting area can get a little loud, if you are having a service in the front room, and throw off the mellow vibe. Tips: If you go during the winter, do NOT get a mud body wrap! I thought mud = warm. NO! The clay is cold, the room I was in was cold and I was freezing while she applied the mud (even when they turned the heat up). It was incredibly uncomfortable and I would not recommend it during cold-winter months. (2) Find out where you should report for your appointment. There are two entrances and it's disconcerting to enter at the top level, have wine and a face stream and then go back out into the cold to get to the lower level for the services. (3) There is no ramp on the walkway down to the lower level, so watch your step! (4) Tipping! I didn't know how much customary. I was told 10%. I tipped more (since the services were offered at a discount anyway and my mom and aunt enjoyed themselves). Verdict: I will definitely visit again and may make this an annual thing for my mom and aunt It was an excellent, well-received gift. Book services when they're offering a sale, enjoy yourself, and tip well!

I should've read the Yelp reviews first…read more.. I too, purchased a Groupon for a Couples Massage a solid 4-5 months ago, and the earliest available appointment was December (which I learned after calling and leaving messages 4-5 times). Anywho, we scheduled for today. Our appointment was at 6pm, and about 5:30 I received a text saying they were running 20 mins late. At least they provided a heads up, but was super annoying when I had already left work early due to their time constraints. We arrived after 6, to be informed "your appointment was at 6." Clearly The girl who checked us in had no idea about the text. We were told to sit in the lobby, an older lady put a tray if hot towels in between us, she said to let them cool. She came back a few minutes later asking if we had neck tension or wanted a hot towel on our necks, we said yes and she informed us "you should've done that when I brought the towels over". We waited for a bit for our massage, and they took us to their "lower level"-out the front door and through the alley. We were given a room with the bathroom connected, which was nice. I explained that my right shoulder was super tight. I was only given a poor quality sheet-no blanket or bed warmer and it was so cold. The masseuse squirted the oil directly on to me instead of in his hands first. He did nothing to work out the tension in my shoulder-I think at times he had no clue what to do. Our one hour massage (that was late) lasted about 40 minutes. We were then offered aromatherapy that takes "about 3 extra minutes". We agreed to do that...the water took 7-8 minutes to warm up, then we had probably 2 minutes to enjoy it. We still tipped appropriately, but I'll stick to my Massage Envy membership and won't return for another visit. I hope they treat their non-Groupon folks much better.

With the spacious facility, it really gives the space the vibe you want in a spa. Checking in was a breeze, and after a nice quick tour, we were situated in our rooms. My wife and I both did it. It is not shared, so we were in separate rooms. You could probably request to be in the same but it would be pretty tight. But solo it is incredibly spacious in the booths. The infared sauna gets warmer than some versions, so you can have them up near 170 more like a traditional swedish sauna if you like. The halo therapy was the first for me and very unique. Salt therapy I know is very useful, but to have the medical grade salt in a closed room is a very different experience. I could see it really helping with COPD and asthma as it's claimed to do. You really can't beat the full facilities they have. With the little spacious lounge area to recuperate or to take a shower after. Free refreshments available to recover. (And some specialty drinks available for purchase in bottles near the front) Combine that with it's convenient location right off 77. Perfect for anyone like us who travels down to Charlotte frequently.

When we talked to the owner about signing up we said we were nervous because we weren't sure if we could afford it or if we'd have enough time to get away. She assured us that if it didn't work out, we would be able to cancel. Well after not too long, we realized that we really didn't have enough time to go to the spa to make the cost worth it with tight finances. We contacted the owner to let her know we wanted to cancel, however, our payment for the following month processed just earlier that day. After talking to her she said she would cancel our membership and refund the following month's fee. A month went by and I never received the refund. We called several times with no answer from anyone at the establishment. Eventually my wife talked to the owner who said she changed her mind and isn't refunding us and will give us a voucher instead. We explained that she already promised us a refund and therefore it was inappropriate to change her mind, especially without giving us a courtesy call. I then called back numerous times to discuss the matter further, however, no one ever answers the phone and on rare circumstance they do answer I'm told that I will be called back and no one ever does. They also tell you that before you go to the spa you should call so they can set up the equipment so it's ready when you get there. However, that means someone actually has to answer the phone, which we already established never happens.

From the moment you step inside, you're transported -- we honestly forgot we were in Charlotte for a minute and felt like we were at a European spa. The steam room with eucalyptus and the thermal soak were my favorite elements -- pure bliss. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided: towels, robes, lockers, water, and hot tea are all complimentary, which makes the experience feel effortless and elevated. Kombucha is also available to purchase, which was a nice touch. When we visited, there were only a few other guests, so it felt quiet, calm, and wonderfully uncrowded. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming and took a few minutes to explain everything when we arrived, which we really appreciated. Such a fantastic addition to Charlotte. Highly recommend if you're looking to truly unwind and reset -- we'll definitely be back!

At first visit, it's more than a wellness experience, it's positioned to provide Charlotte a valuable wellness community and I am absolutely thrilled I snagged a legacy membership back in March. Details, details! Spa sessions are 2 hours here and you rotate through the facilities at your leisure. Men's and Women's locker rooms are available which include a private changing room and a private shower. Guests have access to individual lockers which open with wristbands provided on arrival. The lockers are large enough to store a work tote and shoes. The facilities themselves are impeccably curated from the exposed brick walls upon which the lights from the pools dance (going to be so beautiful at night), textured flooring to prevent slipping, to the gorgeous, elevated lounge furniture. A water station is set up with cups to stay hydrated. Various flavors of kombucha are on tap, which you can enjoy while relaxing in the thermal spa or lounge. Items they plan to introduce - herbal teas, matcha, and an outdoor lounge - which I think will be the perfect spot to read a book in the fall. Charlotte deserves this. That is all -
