Great new location that opened up at the Well. It's much nicer than the younge location. The showers and equipment is clean. It can get very crowded during peak hours, but there were cleaners constantly cleaning. Each class runs full so be sure to book your class as soon as the booking windows open. The workout itself is top notch. I was in for a spin class at 9:20am on a Saturday and the music, vibes and sweat were on point. 10/10 will be back! And since you're at the Well it's perfect location to shop or grab brunch after.

Sweat and Tonic is a great facility. I've had a membership for 2 years now, and really appreciate the variety of classes and attentiveness of the instructors. The facilities are always clean, and the space to sit and get work done in between classes is helpful.

I love the venue. So beautiful. Makes me feel very fancy. I did a lift HIIT class and it was excellent. I really liked the lights, music and energy of the teacher. Very clear instructions The showers and getting ready space are also lovely! I'll be going back for sure

This review is for their Tonic Spa experience. This spa is located within sweat and tonic, and certain services can be booked by using a sweat and tonic credit. Credit ranges from 30-35$ dollar depending on how many credits you're buying at a time. You can buy single credit or different sizes of credits package. The more you buy the cheaper the average cost becomes. Please note that they recently changed their policies, credits now expire 3 months after purchase date (it was previously 6 months). Because of their recent change in policy, I wasn't as inclined in buying their bigger package. Upon signing in at the Tonic Spa concierge, you are given a pair of slipper and a robe. I booked for their lymphatic compression session which costed one credit. This is a 25 min session in a private room, where you're giving disposable pants. Once you have their disposal pants on, you slide into the sleeves (device). This treatment is supposedly good for sore muscles, promote blood circulation, and help with detox and cellulite. After the 25 minute session, I also booked their hot and cold circuit suite which costed another credit. For this session you get a private 4 people suite to up yourself: ice bath and sauna. Even though the suite is for up to 4 people, the single credit only covers the person making the booking. Each additional member is an additional charge. I enjoyed the privacy of getting my own private suite, however the session was only 50 minutes. I felt a little rushed. If I was going with friends I would prefer going to the othership, because it's about the same price but you get a 1.5 hour experience.

This location is on the second floor at the well. I visited for a yoga x Pilates class on a Saturday morning, and it was packed. The facilities are large, and clean. It definitely gives off a luxurious impression. There are separate rooms for spin, yoga, weight training, HIIT, and spa, plus a cafe. Mats and towels are provided free of charge. The instructor was very enthusiastic and called us out if we were slacking.

Sweat and Tonic located at The Well is the second location of this boutique fitness studio. Conveniently located on the 2nd floor of The Well, this fitness space includes many classes spanning across their yoga, HIIT, and spin studios. There is a smoothie/coffee bar at the front along with S&T merchandise for sale. At the back, you can find Tonic House, a members only space where people can unwind, work, and even order a drink. There are also meeting rooms available within the Tonic House if you'd like a space for your team to meet. Starting early next year this location will also have other wellness services including RMT, etc. They also have personal training services at this location as well with a dedicated space for one on one training. I've been going to S&T's original Yonge/Shuter location since they first opened in 2019 and am no stranger to this fitness studio (almost my second home!). I have watched them pivot during the pandemic with lockdowns, restrictions, and then finally their reopening. I have watched people come and go and instructors change. As much as I loved the Yonge/Shuter location due to the location, you could tell that with the amount of members joining and people working out, they had outgrown their space there. I was excited for their location at The Well! I was able to attend S&T's Friends and Family Day they had hosted at their Well location where they offered complimentary classes all day before their opening weekend. During that day I took a spin class in the morning and then another yoga and HIIT class in the evening to experience all three studios. I have always mostly taken the HIIT classes on a routine basis at S&T and currently this is no different. I'm glad my favourite instructors are teaching more classes at The Well location now! Space wise, this location is beautiful! From the change room to the Tonic House as well as the upgraded HIIT room, everything is newer, nicer, and better. The new self-serve essential cold towel fridge is great and there are more lockers available throughout the facility. The change room does get crowded between class times so I've learned to use a locker outside instead of in the change room. There is also more space outside of the studios to just chill and sit before your class as well, which is great. In regards to all three workout studios: Spin room: The space is able to accommodate more bikes. There is an "immersive" ride where there is projections behind the spin instructor. Spin shoes are included and is now self-service where you can choose your shoes in front of the spin room. HIIT room: Lift HIIT classes are offered more now in the evenings which is a bonus. The heavier weights are labeled accordingly and a weight bench is utilized in the "weights" section of the class. Space is still a bit of an issue (just like at their Shuter location) because you do have to be mindful not to hit anyone during the warmup portion (or even when you are doing your workout). I have learned which spots allow for more space and try to book those in advance. I find that the instructor podium in the middle is a bit unnecessary where that space could be utilized to give more space to everyone to work out. Either way, I love how you get your own boxing bag for the box HIIT classes. This is the room where you'll find me weekly taking Lift, Booty, and Box HIIT classes (shout out to Kaivan and Lisa for being tough and clear/concise instructors!!). Yoga room: Space is similar to their Yonge/Shuter location. It is a bit tight where yoga mats are pretty close together. The immersive screen behind the instructor is a nice addition to create a calm space/vibe to the place. I don't usually do the yoga classes here but it was nice to experience this during the Friends & Family Day. Overall, beautiful new space and great workouts!

I wanted to get stronger and focus on functional fitness to make my life as a new mom (lifting a rapidly growing baby) easier and pain free. She met me where I was and tailored our sessions around my goals, even going as far as practicing good form getting up and down from the floor with a baby in hand. We spend time each session checking in on where I'm at physically, emotionally, mentally and adapt the session as needed (like if I'm running on very little sleep). After only about a month of working with Vysh I had gotten stronger and most of my daily pain was gone. Now I continue to see my strength and endurance improve and am looking forward to continuing training with Vysh and working on my next set of goals together. Her trauma informed approach and the language that she uses makes it such a safe space, especially compared to other experiences at large gyms. For folks who may have had bad experiences in toxic gym environments and are looking for a trainer and a safe space for a diversity of bodies & backgrounds, I can't recommend Vysh enough!

I can see all the hype around Barry's Bootcamp. You'll see around you, super young, fit millenials,…read morewho are there to crush their workout. Already you feel this vibe of confidence and it can be intimidating, but I guarantee you feel superior part of this. I feel super pumped to workout when I step in the infamous"red room". This awesome night club-like, dark room vibe to amp up your workout and focus with blaring loud music to drown out your senses really helps. I'm not a runner, I absolutely hate cardio, but I think at the end of it I had a runner's high. The strength moves are really awesome conditioning. Like what some of the reviews may mention, it might not be as helpful to beginners because those that aren't aware of how to do certain workouts might not know how to perform the instructed exercise correctly as the instructor doesn't spend as much time to show and perform how it's done. But if you have some basic knowledge, you'll be fine. What was really nice is that before it begins, if it's your first time the instructor will meet with you to explain how the treadmill works and the instructions during class, and it's really nice because I got a shoutout for my first class and working hard, it was really welcoming. There's the flex room where you can stretch and even some weights if you're not done your workout, but you should feel like death after the intensity. The change rooms are so sleek. They've got fancy shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, body wash -- if you want to straighten your hair there's a hair straightener, nice quality hair dryer, and feminine use stuff. I love their bath towels and wish I could nab one home haha. Oh ya, no need to bring a lock because it's a combo you can set. Didn't do the Fuel Bar shake option, but very cool concept to pre-order and then have your shakes ready after you're done your workout. Clever idea. All in all, would do it again, the only thing that really sucks is how expensive it is, but it's a great investment in yourself and for your body.
