After a short wait, it was our turn to pick out our treats. We opted for a 6-pack of cupcakes so we could try as many as possible. There were so many flavors and all were made so beautifully - it was hard to choose! I can tell you, without hesitation, that the cheesecakes are some of the best that we've ever eaten. They're sweet but not overly sweet, have a lovely graham base, and in most cases, a light whipped topping. As mentioned in an older review, there wasn't a rubbery top so Jackie must've taken notice and fixed the issue. Don't hesitate to stop and treat yourself! You'll be glad you did!

There was too many advertising pictures of treats that weren't made there and not enough to really show what they make. I was having those panic moments at the counter because there was too much on the little tiny menu so I ended up with the shake. I just wasn't feeling it at this dairy bar to warrant a better rating, plus it's cash only, boo! It's okay if you are around, but there are other dairy bars that have a more family and fun atmosphere.

All the kids from the school come over for treats after school and it seems the place always has a short line. Prices are fair and portions are decent. I ordered the pizza burger, zucchini fries and an ice cream cone, my Plus 1 had a corn dog, broccoli cheese bites and Texas cake sundae. The pizza burger was the surprise I didn't know I wanted when I searched out the place. We were looking for home cooked faire and googled what was nearby. The burger was cooked just right and I ordered it supreme with peppers, onions and mushrooms. The zucchini fries were just that - breaded zucchini, deep fried. My ice cream was 'Grandma's oatmeal cookie' on a basic wafer cone. My 'Plus 1' ordered a basic State Fair corn dog. The Broccoli Cheddar Melts were something we've never had before. It was like a Broccoli popper - deep fried cheesy goodness. Her sundae was a brownie with vanilla soft-serve, drizzled in hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. The ambiance was so reminiscent of ice cream places our family would walk us too years ago on a hot summer night. Vintage music playing overhead and picnic benches throughout. Our only downside is we didn't see a public restroom. Not that there may not have been one but it wasn't apparent from the seating area. They are pet friendly and we saw a few paws around including our own enjoying the shade. Please note - eating area is outdoors and possibly only enjoyable on good weather days.
