Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. Everyone has cried watching it. I would not hesitate in recommending The Candi Project for any of your video/photo needs. Chris and Aenid are AMAZING (and are super nice and sweet!!!), and we loved that they were there to capture our special day!

Our friends and family were so impressed when I posted our wedding highlight on Facebook we are still getting many compliments today. I can not even begin to discuss the disappointment with this company and no one should feel…read moredisappointed on their wedding day. The photos I received from my wedding were terrible. Amanda was my photographer. The assistant photographer did a better job than my main photographer. The photos looked like an absolute mess. The getting ready photos that we're taken in my house, we're not set up by the photographer at all. She was just snapping photos from every angle with dresses, bags in the back, my bridesmaids in the back doing their own make up, all the bridal robes all over the place. When I brought this to their attention they used Covid as an excuse that they are unable to move things out of the photo and lack of space in houses (Funny - because my house has a ton of space). The whole point of having a photographer is to set up the scene if they didn't think the photo looked nice then she should've moved me to a different angle with nothing in the background. They also used the excuse that these were all candid shots. A candid shot is still set up nicely. I will The photographer put no creativity and energy into taking the photos, it was as if she just snapped a random 2000 photos and hoped for the best. When the photographer walked in, one thing I was specific about was where to take my detailed shots. I showed her the location of where I wanted them and trusted her that they would be done this way. She instead took it upon herself to use a different scene with my kitchen and microwave in the background of the photos. She was too busy in my house taking pictures of random things, like a half eaten tray of fruit, a tray of bagels that was already cut into, magnets on my fridge, and picture frames in my house instead of focusing on me and setting up the scene to make the photos look nice. Some of the most important moments such as the first look with my father, walking down the aisle with my father were messed up and blurry. These are photos that I would never be able to retake. I was actually concerned and wanted to bring it to the attention of Silver Fox and had a nasty response from Danielle, basically blaming everything on candid shots and Covid. I was then redirected to the manager and explained everything to him. I also mentioned why we didn't take more photos outside and his response was the photographer said it was cold out. My wedding was in March, obviously it was cold but I was the one in the dress and I was not complaining. He acknowledged that my photographer did remember me specifically telling her where to take the detailed shots and instead did it in a different place with the kitchen as a backdrop anyway. I was told that since I am feeling this way he could edit 20 photos for me. After spending almost $6000, being extremely disappointed and embarrassed to show people my wedding photos, I do not think that editing 20 photos would correct how I felt. It was the way the photographer did the job. Apparently after several emails, the photos are up to Silver Fox studios standards. That says a lot and anyone that is reading this review should know that apparently they have very low standards. I got better pictures from my friends iPhones the following day.

Fast forward to when we got our wedding pictures back and everything went downhill. Prior to our final meeting we were given a "shot list" that included pictures that are taken and we were given the opportunity to add anything else. Well, we kept it as is with the exception of a picture or two. The main photographer assigned to me (the bride) is highly recommended but honestly, I would think 1000 times before recommending her. She dropped the ball on so many pictures. Failed to capture A LOT of the typical pictures; not to mention they were on Silverfox's shot list. I asked for a picture with my MOH/sister and was told we would take them later..I mean, excuse you but we're taking this picture now. Then we were taking family pictures and she felt the need to single out a very close relative - making her feel bad. Again, they are my pictures and if I'm not kicking anyone out of my pictures, why are you?! Our videographer was no better. Our second photographer was honestly the better of the group so kudos to her. When I took my concerns to the Silverfox team, specifically the General Manager. Although he tried to work with us, we were still very underwhelmed. He agreed that a lot of coverage was missed and although he recreated some important pictures, I'll always know they were recreated. He "comped" our thank you cards; however, we received the first set and they were truly unacceptable. They were stained and the corners appeared burnt. Once I sent him pictures of them, he agreed that they were horrible and agreed to create another batch. Well I went to pick them up this time and to no surprise, they were still unacceptable and I'm truly embarrassed and refuse to send them out. I reached out via email and phone and didn't hear back. I asked for the contact information for the owner and once again, the GM put me on the back burner. Of course they were paid and are happy; however, we were not happy with the service they provided. The team at Silverfox should be held accountable especially when they provide a shot list and lack in producing the pictures and for the unacceptable thank you cards they produce. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. I could go on and on about our experience with them.

We decided to use Twelfth Night for our Maternity shoot and it has been an amazing experience working with Dom. From the very first phone call, he was open, honest, friendly and listened to what we wanted. Dom gave us feedback to what works best to give us what we were looking for in the pictures. He went over all the details and pricing with us and happily answered all our questions when we booked our maternity session. As for the actual session, it was awesome. We did both in studio and outside in a local park. He was patient with us as it was cold and did not rush us one bit. The time was perfect and we were able to get many different poses. He was very accommodating and you can tell from the photos he is passionate about what he does. All the images were spectacular. He was very quick to respond to any questions and the turnaround time to obtain the final edits were timely. Would definitely recommend checking them out for your photography needs! Updated 12/17 A…read morecompany that stands by their product but is willing to step back and place their customers doubts before their own speaks volumes. This is the type of service you get with Patken. I recently gave a 4 star review even though in the beginning i was all 5, because i was truly disappointed with the retouching of some of my pictures. But after making my concerns known, Doug and his team went back to the filtering boards and re did my pictures for me. For all future brides and those craving for your memories to be immortalized, Patken is the team for you. ______________ Beware this will be a lengthy review Every bride has a million and one concerns when it comes to planning their big day and no one ever wants to make a wrong choice. I was blessed to come around a beautiful soul, my event manager of the reception hall I chose. He sang praises of a photographer that captures the essence of your day and depicts it like a fairy tale. This is how we came across the Patken Photography team. We spoke to Doug Gordon, the owner of this establishment and met several photographers at the bridal showcases held by our vendor. It was a friendly yet professional ordeal. Which i loved, knowing that our wedding will be a headache and a half as any west indian hindu wedding can be. Patken offers a engagement shoot months prior to your event so you can be comfortable with their team and also the photographers can build a relation with you as their would be no awkward moments of "who the hell are you and no i don't want to swing off a tree". You will also receive a courtesy call from each photographer that is assigned to your event. Brides beware, Patken does not recommend having multiple photographers per event, but it can be added if needed. The best thing about the Patken team is their ability to feel like family. We were assigned Kevin, the indian wedding specialist, and Mike the best videographer out there for our first event. Kevin and Mike showed up hours before the event and as everyone knows this is when there is all hell break loose when it comes to an west indian event. They were able to mingle and become one of our own that made the day go seamless as possible. Vinny was our photographer for our second event at our reception hall and i couldnt have asked for someone better. Vinny was down to earth and a real trooper when it came to being with my mile long wedding dress and my impromptu outfit change. Or the never ending line of guest photos he had to take. (bored yet?) well those were all the good stuff, now on to my let downs. Patken offers a retouching service with all of their packages to create what they consider the perfect image. When your images are finished editing, Patken emails you an online gallery for each separate day. We were so overjoyed working with this team that in my mind i felt that they can do no wrong. But after seeing my images, the cracks in my "perfect photographers" began to show. My wedding ceremony pictures were a complete let down. What irked me the most was that we were assigned a photographer who specialized in our event type, so there should be no doubts in my mind that their would be images that would make my heart skip a beat. Ha!. I ended up with a lot of images that were overly retouched, which made it look tacky and fake. And I also have random pictures that I wouldn't even care for. I was truly disappointed. My reception day pictures was the only saving grace. These pictures were the reason that i would still consider recommending the Patken Photography Team. Vinny captured some real money maker shots. At this time, I have not seen my wedding albums as of yet. However, I will give an update on that process for those that find this review useful. On that note, I'll sign off by saying even a perfect experience can lead to disappointment. Thank you Patken Photography for giving us the opportunity to work along side of you.
