Grace is awesome!! She gave my 7 & 5 yr old private lessons summer of 2016. Prior to Grace, our…read moredaughters had years of lesson at Waterworks Irvine. We must have spent $1000+ but it did not work. 5yr old spent her lessons screaming and crying. It got very stressful and traumatic for ME! We also kept switching teachers at Waterworks...some were just not as good with kids. I've come to conclusion that places like Waterworks has a business model to keep you paying for lessons not necessarily getting your kids watersafe. Then we heard about Grace on the Irvine Mom Facebook board. I told her @ my 5 yr old. Immediately she CUSTOMIZED her teaching method and brought in toys. She is always smiling and calm with my daughters. And this is key with my 5 yr old who hated the pool. Grace also ask parents what the focus should be- swim safe or technique. Net net in just 2 months of private lessons- both girls love and ask to go to the pool. My 7 yr old can swim around by herself and my 5 yr old is no longer afraid. Plus Grace is super responsive with text & email, flexible with schedule changes. Other places are not. Only downside is I wish Grace had more Irvine hours. She splits her time her and San Gabriel Valley. I will definitely resume lessons with her the coming Spring.

My daughter has struggled with her academics,, but has improved significantly due to the help of her after school instructor, Ms. Boya at Paramount Academy. Ms. Boya has been very patient with my daughter and helped her to improve her study habits and her grades. As a single parent, I really appreciated this aspect of their service. You just need to check with them first which school they pick up from.. Highly recommend. A+++++++

This place has been around for 20 years and it is run by some very experienced educators. My daughter is restless and hyperactive. Helping her with her homework has been a daily struggle for me even though I myself was a teacher and I have taught students music before. At Paramount, you can let the teacher(s) know if you want them to use their teaching program, and/or help your kid with their homework, and/or both. I prefer my daughter to go with their teaching program first then help with her homework because Mr. Do's mental math teaching method is very effective. It compensates what school system's Common Core lack of. Mr. Luna who teaches her English is super sweet and patient. Since my daughter attended Paramount Academy, her math skill has excelled in school. School math homework became easy for her. I don't need to spend so much time struggling with her anymore, I only check her work most of the time. Her reading skill has been improved as well. She is self-sufficient to read books on her own. She has a lot more confidence that she can do well in school. Less frustration, money well spend. I highly recommend this place. Furthermore, for people who are not sure about how long you want to put your kid at any place to study, remember this Chinese proverb, "Hundred days of foundation". When you learn anything, don't expect to learn it in just one day, one week, or one month. Give it a try for at least 100 days, which is a minimum 3 months to build the foundation in order to see changes. Improvement takes patience and persistence.

We've been with Huntington Education for almost a year now, and I can honestly say the experience…read morehas been incredibly encouraging for our son. Math has always been a sore spot for him--especially with his slower processing speed--but the support, patience, and structure provided by the Huntington team has made a difference in both his skills and, more importantly, his willingness to keep trying. What stands out most is the level of personal investment the instructors make in each student. Mr. Justin, in particular, has gone out of his way to understand how my son learns and where he needs extra reinforcement. It never feels like a one-size-fits-all program; it's truly tailored support that meets him where he's at and helps him move forward at his pace. As a parent, my biggest concern has always been that he not only improves academically, but also feels capable of keeping up with his peers--and Huntington has been key in helping us move toward that goal. I trust their approach, and we're fully committed to continuing with their program. I can't recommend Huntington Education enough. They've been a steady and positive partner for our family.

Need to rewrite I think my review because it got deleted?…read more I used to come here for tutoring for AP bio like 6-7 (unironically) years ago so take my review with a grain of salt. I loved this one male tutor, I think his name was David, so much because he never showed that he judged me and broke down concepts super simply and always encouraged me. This is how all tutors should be. But there was this one woman who went to Harvard or something who brought my mom and I into the office and basically told me it was too late for me and went on and on for a good 30 minutes-an hour about how I'd "never get into a good school" even though I had a 4.0 and I was on a good path, had clinical hours as a 13 year old, and was doing really well. She kept flexing that she went to Harvard and she could tell who would succeed or not, basically saying I'm going to fail at life because she could tell I wasn't going to make it. Ok good for you???? And surprise, she was wrong. I got into the top schools in California and am about to graduate with honors. I wasn't sure if writing a review after this long was fair, since I'm not sure if she still works there, but I still carry that negative memory with me to this day and even included this experience in my college essays. Hope she's not working there anymore and putting students down like that... Hopefully this was just a one-off experience but I'm not confident that it was, since she was way too comfortable rambling on like that. I would give one star because of her but that one tutor saved the rating a little bit.

I trust that any student who comes here will only grow for the better. Thank you so much David and instructors for providing so much value to the community.
