He loves the instructors, particularly Oren, who is extremely patient and is great at explaining complex concepts. Matthew, the current director, is excellent at running the center and is highly responsive to the needs and concerns of kids and parents alike. Previous center directors (shout out to Nathan, Andrew, and Robbie) have also been fantastic. We honestly could not have survived Math all of these years if it wasn't for Mathnasium. Everyone there is kind, approachable, and well- qualified. I highly recommend this center. They are outstanding.

I brought my son here when he was in preschool, and Kumon gave him a strong foundation in reading,…read morewriting, and math. It also eased much of the stress I felt about whether he was learning letters, words, and numbers correctly. It was wonderful to watch him become more confident and capable while addressing potential bad habits early on. What truly sets this center apart, however, is the owner, Cecille. She is exceptional and genuinely cares about each child and their learning. She goes above and beyond to provide personalized attention, whether that means sitting with my son when he needs extra help or taking the time to understand each family's individual needs and schedule. Cecille is passionate about Kumon and its philosophy, and she is always looking for ways to improve her center. Her interactions with the children are especially heartwarming. You can see how deeply she cares about them and how much she wants them to succeed. She takes the time to understand each child's strengths and areas for growth, provides the support they need, and guides her tutors to do the same. I'm very grateful for the strong foundation and confidence my son gained here.

We Love My Learning Center!…read more Our family had such a great experience with Ms. Brenda and Mr. George at My Learning Center! Ms. Brenda is amazing. She's super organized, knows the curriculum inside and out, and really understands what's going on at Highland Oaks. She even reviews our child's progress reports to make sure the tutoring is focused on exactly what's needed. As two busy parents with demanding jobs, it's hard to stay on top of homework and school support. Having Ms. Brenda involved has been a game-changer. She's not only a seasoned educator, but also a mom herself, which really shows in the way she connects with the kids and understands what they need both academically and emotionally. Our child loved going there--not just for the learning, but also for the environment. Ms. Brenda creates a space that's warm, structured, and respectful. She's amazing at helping kids work through disagreements and teaches them how to communicate and resolve things in a positive way. It's clear she cares deeply about their emotional growth as much as their academic progress. We're so grateful for everything she's done and can't recommend My Learning Center enough!

Through years of help, my English and writing skills were sharpened, and I ended up scoring a 2300 out of 2400 on the old SAT and 222 out of 240 on the PSAT. I was accepted into top notch colleges in California, such as UCLA, UCSD and Berkeley. Our 5-year-old started at Kumon about two months ago, and we've already seen significant…read moreimprovements in both reading and math. One of the biggest changes has been her ability to focus. While I was initially concerned about her learning to read, I've come to realize that developing the ability to sit still, concentrate, and stay engaged is just as important. It was challenging for her at first, but Mr. Chris did an excellent job adjusting her lesson plan to match her needs and keep her motivated. His approach helped her stay interested in learning while continuing to make steady progress. Since she attends a dual-immersion school, I was worried she might fall behind in English and math. Instead, she has gained confidence and skills, and I'm confident she'll be well prepared for kindergarten next year. Mr. Chris is attentive, helpful, responsive, and always flexible with our schedule. I wasn't familiar with the Kumon program at first, but I've definitely become a believer in its effectiveness. The center has also recently been remodeled, so everything feels fresh, clean, and updated, which is a nice bonus. We've been so pleased with our experience that we're already planning to enroll our 2-year-old when she turns 3!

There's 3 K classes this year, her teacher Ms. Wei is wonderful, caring, detail oriented, she focuses on well being activities like helping the kids manage emotions in addition to learning Mandarin. With the 90:10 model they have Ms. Wei who teaches in Mandarin for the day and then for one hour they go to a separate English teacher. As they get older the English class time increases, as everyone tells me and I believe it, don't worry about their English falling behind, they catch up easily around 3rd grade. We are non-native speakers as I would say the majority of the class is too, it's quite diverse I must say, every type of Asian and different ethnicities, it's wonderful. Field does a great job celebrating all nationalities and every holiday with emphasis on the Chinese culture. There's seriously so many fun activities every week, the parents are so involved volunteering and wanting to make the school better. So even if you don't know any Mandarin, the kids pick it up so well and the teachers are so great in teaching it, my kid was singing and meditating in Mandarin by month two hah. The principal Ms. Tucker is great too, she' very into finding ways to improve the school and better the future for the program.
