My plate 2 slices of pizza and a slice of the cheesy bread(already at 2 others)

Finally convinced my bf to try a new place for pizza....amazing!! Went with our regular(sausage n mushroom, sometime onion) called it in and they warned us about a hr wait...oh ok. Good Friday eve, did figure if open, they'd be busy. Got there about 50 minutes later, bar tender said about 5-7 more minutes. So we had a drink to wait, was able to talk w a lady also waiting for pizza, and a cpl whe grew up down the block. Nice atmosphere, not overly loud, drinks were cold, pizza was delicious. And prices were reasonable!! $39 for large pizza and cheesy garlic bread stick(thingy) . And like $7 for both HighNoon and mixed vodka and 7up!! Bf who HATES bars said, "that was a nice place, not just a bar."

    Pizza, sausage, pepperoni and mushroom.

I got the breaded cause that's the only way I've ever had it going back to my IL childhood. The meat is massive and looks ridiculous on the bun (in a great way). Most importantly it was cooked to perfection. Crisp breading, tender pork inside. And a side of good fries as well. Couple that with a Revolution IPA on tap and I am in heaven. Great dinner. I always have great service and the friendly manager greets us every time. It's a bar and grille but there are a few options for those that want something lighter or healthier. My wife opted for the Mediterranean chicken which was a pesto sauce. She liked it, although there was no pasta which is a bit odd but tasted really good.

The first time I got the Steak House Burger with a side of curds. I asked for no onion and it came loaded with them, that was unfortunate. I picked as many as I could off and luckily it didn't ruin the taste too much. I got a side of fried cheese curds. They were a little overdone (the cheese leaked out, so it was a bunch of empty shells. My second visit was better. I got the Don Julio burger and fries. Everything was cooked beautifully and the toppings were just what I ordered this time. The fries were a perfect golden brown. So good! Great service, good food!

This isn't your typical "burger and fries" joint. Smoked Gouda, caramelized onions and a wine sauce - on a burger - in Port Byron. It isn't over yet. Ghost pepper cheese served with jalapeños in reaper sauce - better have another beer ready to go. Overall, the food was excellent as was the service. Beer choices could please almost everyone - if not, there are plenty of whiskey choices. :-) I can't wait to go back to visit the other parts of the menu.

Well, he went with 10 Fried Shrimp instead and enjoyed his meal. For an appetizer, we got cheese curds and those were pretty good! My mom and I went with the fried blue gill but they ended up being out of it! Super bummed! We ended up going with the fried cod and I wouldn't get it again. It was pretty hard and crunchy and not as good as the fish we have back home in Indiana. My wife got the burger and really enjoyed it. The bartender is the one who took care of us and she did a great job until a few more people came and sat at the bar. Then it went downhill. We were trying to pay with a credit card but she never came back for it so we left cash instead. When it comes to ambiance, this is definitely a bar. 100%. I probably wouldn't bring a family here (even though it's all ages-there are loud gaming systems) but I can see how it's good enough for the bar scene. So it is what it is. I wouldn't be back for the food though.

Has some basic bar food full of grease and who knows what else. This seems good enough for the locals, but of course they have limited options. A pretty basic looking bar. It was pretty quiet inside. This was a place we stopped waiting for another place to open. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail. The food menu is limited. Mostly greasy stuff with the most popular option being the burgers. Those not minding the grease would probably find that the best thing to eat here. Good if only looking for a cheap drink. It also has basic bar food. The locals here can be a wild bunch but this place seemed pretty quiet though.

And the bartenders are downright kind. I remember an ooolllldd man at the bar, falling down drunk, and he was going to drive home. Oh hell no. Patrick, a bartender, asked me to follow as he drove the old man home in the man's truck, parked it, and helped the man walk into the lobby of his apt complex - the highrise. I did, and Pat and I drove back. Then, there's The Whiz. I was there on a Sunday afternoon, reading the paper and having a drink, and an autistic man walked in. I remember the men at the bar yelling 'it's The Whiz! Come here! We'll buy you a drink!' I thought oh hell no. I will not let them get him drunk. I watched, one man ordered a round 'for the boys' and winked at the bartender. She nodded. The 'boys' got rum and cokes, The Whiz got a plain coke. It was awesome. Then The Whiz ordered a round for his friends and slid her a quarter. She got their round, and when The Whiz wasn't looking, a man slid her a $20. Listening to their convo, I found out he was The Whiz because he was what's called an 'idiot savant' like Rainman. But he knew sports. If you asked him who the quartback was for XYZ team at the 1964 Superbowl he'd just rattle it off. The 1st baseman on XYZ baseball team in the 1942 World Series. He knew. Sadly, The Whiz died last year. 2000 people were there for his funeral. We loved him. And that's Leamens.
