Darci contacted me immediately by email, then we spoke on the phone. She is incredibly professional and truly a joy to work with. She confirmed the details and followed up regularly, leading up to the event. She arranged for an absolutely lovely bartender (Velson D'Souza) for the event. Several guests included a mention of him in their praise for our event, saying he was a positive, smiling and gracious presence. Everything about the process was smooth and seamless. I could not have been happier with the service, which was also very affordable. What an amazing business. I plan to use them again in future!!

Brandon was so incredibly kind, understanding and willing to work with and accommodate our needs. He, on his own time, went to our venue 2 times ahead of the wedding to scout it and estimate needs. He was honest and didn't try to swindle us. He pointed out that he wanted to enhance the beauty of our historic venue and that would require very little additional lighting but done in the right way. He was definitely affordable and absolutely worth the cost. Originally, we were going to go without the lighting detail thinking that it was a splurge we simply couldn't afford. Brandon is SO talented and really- believe me, the lighting helped create a mood and set a beautiful, elegant tone. His work was so tasteful and simply perfect. I am so grateful for his creative input and eye on our big day. I highly recommend Brandon and his company, Peterson Event Lighting for any and all events!!

He helped my out with my timeline, music playlist, and much much more. He has great referrals too. Also, he is very up with technology and did not give me grief for getting him music and the playlist a week before the wedding. His package is budget friendly and I felt that he was trying to make a living rather than make a profit, if that makes since. Bottom line: I love Richard. If I have another event to plan for myself, I would definitely use him again and well as refer him to friends and family.

If you are a bride and groom looking for a professional company then don't hire KBS. If you are a…read morebride or groom looking for a bartender(s) to drink with guests and party right along with you then hire KBS. I hired KBS for my August 10th wedding at the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. Kevin, the CEO, and 2 other bartenders worked my event. tMaybe one out of three was decent. Kevin ran his own show which annoyed the crap out of me on my big day. And one of the bartenders did not know how to make the "Bride's Drink" (Moscow Mule) the day of the wedding despite Kevin knowing weeks in advance what was going to be on the menu. Very frustrating. I guess we got what we paid for. The only reason we hired KBS was because they undercut another company we were considering - big mistake because KBS sacrifices quality. All communications and interactions with Kevin were good leading up to my wedding but looking back, was a complete waste of our time. My wedding my husband and I feel we were promised a service we did not receive. We believe Kevin lied to us about his credentials. The worst part of dealing with Kevin the day of my wedding was when I went to address an issue with him at the start of dinner service. I went to find out why he or his bartenders were not serving wine and he tried to brush me off by saying he was going on break - WORST TIME TO TELL A BRIDE YOU ARE GOING ON BREAK. I told him I would like 2 bartenders to go serve wine and one bartender to keep the bar open because dinner service was running so slowly. He seemed to ignore my request and gave other instructions to his bartenders as I walked away. I did not like what I heard at the end of my wedding, the next day, and what I have seen in pictures and videos. Several guests had drinks before the wedding which I explicitly requested no drinks be served before the ceremony. According to several guests, Kevin was strolling around the venue, taking pictures and videos, when he should have been working. You can check out a picture Kevin took with me and my husband on facebook. Kevin thinks everyone, including my husband, were very pleased with his service. Kevin, know that we made it a point to enjoy our wedding and address any issues after the wedding, which I am doing now. My sister (maid of honor) caught Kevin taking video of my guests dancing on the dance floor, and several guests told me they saw him lingering and hitting on female guests. I was disgusted by the stories I heard the next day. I also heard Kevin was rude to some female guests, including my mother when she asked for wine after the bar has "closed." My mom was not only offended by the way she was treated but she even more upset that you threw away the 1.75L engraved bottle of grey goose she bought specifically to display at the wedding. We had 2 specially engraved liquor bottles to display at the bar; you failed to display them and failed even more by throwing the bottles away at the end of the night. It really appeared as if Kevin felt he could do whatever he wanted because he owns the company. He appeared more focused on having fun and partying with my guests than executing quality service. Even if some guests befriended Kevin and made him feel it was ok to join the party, I would have liked Kevin to keep it professional and decline any invitations to drink or join the party. Kevin did not conform to the idea I had for my wedding. There were rules of the venue I communicated in advance to Kevin and he either forgot or completely ignored them - such as all beer be served in plastic cups or no alcohol served before the ceremony to non-wedding party guests. One positive, Kevin and his bartenders arrived early and started working immediately. Other than that, I would not hire KBS ever again. Several of my friends over the last year have gotten engaged and are planning their wedding and I have made a point to tell them not to hire KBS.

DJ Severe was highly recomended to us by our wedding coordinator (and the fact that he's the official DJ for the LA Dodgers, LA Galaxy and other hot spots is cool and gives him lots of credibility). At our first meeting, DJ Severe was so nice, friendly, professional, reasonably-priced, we went home knowing we found our DJ. He is the first and only DJ that we interviewed. Nearing the wedding, I felt bad bc we lagged in getting him our music sample list. We did not have the typical play this song at this time but knew we wanted a certain type of music throughout the event. We really trusted DJ Severe to choose songs for wedding march, entrance songs, first dances, etc. and it was perfect! DJ Severe really went above and beyond for us. He mixed us the best bridal party entrance to start the reception! He found all the songs we sent to him w/such short notice and kept the crowd dancing. We love him!
