We hired Bruce to bartend our wedding and it was a huge mistake. A summary of some of what he did wrong: -He set up his bar where we told him not to, set it up differently than discussed, and then refused to move it after he was told to. -He didn't bring a table to set the alcohol on and took one of the other tables from the venue that was needed elsewhere. -He didn't serve about half of the types of alcohol we purchased, even after being told to. He just wanted to make his own time easier by hiding them where guests couldn't see them. -We pre-paid a tip to him with the condition that there would be no tip jar; he put a tip jar out anyway, which was super embarrassing that it looked like we didn't have a open bar. -He was told not to hand out glass bottles; he did anyway. -He says he's creative with cocktails, and we provided him with the ingredients to be, but all he does is very basic drinks.
