We hired Ramon to bartend our wedding at Maxwell House Pasadena and we are extremely satisfied with his services. He was very professional and was always on top of everything making sure we pick our signature drinks. He also sent us a shopping list of what to buy and where to buy the ingredients. I just recently had Raising the Bar bartend my wedding at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs. Oscar was a joy to work with. My fiance and I worked closely with Oscar from the beginning drink sampling stages to the menu development. Oscar promptly responded to texts and inquiries. Being half-peruvian, I asked for him to explore the possibility of making a drink with a corn-based drink named ChiCha morada. Oscar was able to scout out peruvian places to find some of this drink to begin testing out drink ingredients. Leading up to the day of the wedding, Oscar was very prompt and thorough in providing information on how much alcohol I should purchase for the number of guests I was having. On the day of the event, Oscar showed up with a second bartender to assist and he even had the foresight to bring a bar-back given the sheer number of guests we had at the wedding. There was a minor snafu that occurred when the event began to run low on cups/ice--my guests were drinking pretty hard. However, Oscar and his team worked with the coordinator to get the issue fixed and the bar tending continued to run smoothly! Definitely consider raising the bar and Oscar for your next big event. My wedding guests were impressed by the service, taste of the drinks, and minimal time waiting in line. read more
