Cindy gives you a lot of information on how to get your foot in the door. She goes out of her way to find places that are hiring and sends you info and encourages you to go. Mr. Lou and Mr. G are super informative and passionate about bartending. Although I will say, if you're a sensitive person. This is not the place for you, they're blunt and cut throat. It does prepare you for the industry though! Thank you guys very much!
Just graduated! The teachers (Lou and Mr. G) are super fun and they make sure you understand the information so you're prepared for the real bar experience. Cindy is super helpful with the logistics (resume, job hunting, interviewing, etc.) and will make sure you have what you need to get the job you want. I really enjoyed this course and I've already shared this place with a few friends!
This was by far the most fun, fast paced, educational, environment I've ever been in! Lou & Cindy really helped me out become the best mixologist I could be! The classes are so educational, and answered every question I've ever had about the service industry. Mr. G also really gets into the nitty gritty to help the students do all the things you're supposed to do in order to get ready for a job interview. It doesn't feel overwhelming to learn all the information in a such a short period of time. I liked how every lesson was super detailed yet concise and straight to the point. After my test, Cindy immediately helped me out to get a job, and start making money right away. If you're thinking about doing it, I highly recommend it!!!

Mr. G also is very knowledgeable and is very patient with new students that are apprehensive about the process. Updated review: I'd like to start off with thank you to Lou and Mr.G they taught me so much and I could never thank them enough for the skills, tips, preparation, and art of bartending. I had no issues with their teaching style, because I don't take things personally. Yes, their approach can be harsh to some people, but in my opinion, it accurately reflects what some bars will be like in the real world. To the student Kevin, I want to sincerely apologize if anything I said or did caused hurt. I don't know you personally by name but maybe just by face but I would appreciate the opportunity to offer this apology to you personally some way since that was unacceptable behavior if it was me. For Cindy: I'm not sure why our "professional" relationship soured after I test-trialed a job you referred me to. I understand I did not reply immediately, but I followed up within three days to let you know it wasn't the right fit. While I understand you prefer instant updates, in my opinion, a three-day grace period provides a much clearer picture of whether a workplace is a good match than only a few hours on the first day. Unfortunately, our last phone call was not handled professionally no need for you to curse at me and attempt to make me look incompetent. I found this unprofessional, unnecessary, and disappointing given the circumstances. The screenshots show how my tone shifted in messages before and after the phone call. Before the call, I did my best to be professional and friendly. After the call, I mirrored the energy she had directed at me, but I maintained professionalism in my responses, unlike the tone of her replies. It is very sad that I had to change my review due to the continued experience even after I paid for these classes Cindy. I'd understand if I was in debt and I'm not, I still value what I learned from Lou and Mr. G in class, but I believe the job placement process could be improved with more organized, timely, and relevant opportunities. This school is a great opportunity for those looking to become a bartender, either as an extra gig or full-time. When I arrived for my first day, I observed some people taking their final exam and thought how professional and skilled they looked and thought I would never get to that level. On my last day, I took my final exam with new students watching and thought how funny it was that I felt that way, since everything actually felt so simple as I took the exam. They provide in-depth knowledge in mixology and skills necessary to become a reliable bartender. They use a lot of repetition throughout classes to ensure you learn/memorize important details. To complete this course, you must take 2 classes every day of the week, not necessarily in the same week - the flexibility is great for those who go to school or already have a job, which was my case. They give you 6 weeks to complete your studies. read more

I went to this Bartending training institute and I graduated last month!!! I've learned so much about Mixology, technique, and everything you need to become successful bartender !!! This company will also provide jobs before you even graduate !!! Now I'm working with Crystal bartenders at special events !!! I love Cyndi, Mr. G and Lou !!! I would recommend this place to anybody interested in a fun side hustle, a full time job or to have experience in mixology and know all the things you can make and mix together. I've been wanting to bartend since 2020 and 5 years later I am now a bartender!! The place is it! This is where you learn everything properly. Listen to the main teacher and a director of the school, and listen every word that comes out of his mouth, he's absolutely incredible, Mr Louis Fasanelli. Leave your ego the moment you get through that door, Lou is tough as a nail, but the knowledge is incredible. Mr G the other teacher is incredible as well, he'll teach you about the garnish and how to do it A to Z. Very knowledgeable and skillful. And of course Ms Cindy Benson, staff director and our sweetheart. She'll hook you up with a major bartending jobs, but when she says "contact now" it means literally NOW. Wonderful school, wonderful experience, I recommend it to everyone. It was tough, but I miss seeing you guys 5 days a week. 100 gold stars read more

The only review you'll need to read, so here we go; The Bartending Training Institute in North Hollywood is one of, if not THE best place to get the training and certifications needed to become a bartender in Los Angeles. As I'm approaching my final exam, I've learned so much vital information that I needed behind the bar. Lou and Gerry are amazing teachers. Though they may be intense and harsh at times, they will prep you for the intensity that comes with the industry. If you're a visual or hands on learner, the setup they have will help you learn quickly and efficiently! You can finish training in 6 weeks at the latest, or at the earliest 2. Cindy is an amazing contact to have as she really does care about helping you find employment or experience before diving into the industry. Whatever you pay for tuition and fee's, I promise they'll help you take the steps needed to find work and make it back. "If you're worried about the cost of getting started, you should see the price of staying exactly where you are" I was in debates about getting started due to finances but after attending the institute, I have zero regrets! I'll forever be grateful to these 3 for helping me in more ways than they'll know.
