They remembered us every time we came in for a visit and always asked how the wedding planning was going. They went above and beyond with their services by setting up over half our decorations for the night. They were very organized the whole night and helped with clean up. Speaking of great, the Old Fashion's are top notch! Hours are interesting, I think they are really only open to the public a few days a week. Other days are reserved for weddings. And it looks like each day has a specific menu. I was there on a Friday so it was primary Fish. (Meatloaf and Pork Shank on Wednesdays and Chicken on Sundays). I have seen their Cheese Curds listed on many websites as being some of the best in Wisconsin. I have to say I'd disagree. They were good.. but not in my top 10. My wife had Walleye and I had Perch. Which was also good but not great. I'd have to say I liked the Walleye better than the Perch. (But everyone has their own opinion). Excellent service, even though our main server was brand new and in training, but her trainer did a great job of making sure everything was taken care of. The "extras"that come with the meals were very good and I especially loved the pickles. This is another Wisconsin Supper Club that you have to put on your bucket list! The new owners gave those of us who go there to dance and mingle a bigger dance floor. Two years ago it was mostly all tables of people sitting all night and those that want to dance had no room To move We were in a sardine can . Now ,last night we all had room and it was stress free , fun and a great event. I went even though it was freezing out because that event is a guaranteed good happy time . the people are so nice. the new owners are very polite and nice . More and more young people are showing up dressed in 50s style even little kids. the most memorable thing i saw was a dad up front dancing wit h his lil daughter teaching her the steps. And they were both dressed 50s style. Richie Valens has energy to burn and The Big Boppper is such a unique fun person and he had zebra shoes to match his zebra coat jacket. and of course Buddy Holly looked and sang so real I though the was the real deal . Beautiful building and gorgeous views in the back to a pond. Very friendly staff. There are multiple floors so you can have cocktail hour below then dinner and the reception upstairs. Willow Creek has open bowl hours on Saturday and we called and found that they had some free lanes. When we arrived, it was definitely busting in there but they did have a couple free lanes. We secured our lane, ordered a couple bourbon old fashioned cocktails, a basket of fries, and some jalapeno poppers (you know..your usual bowling alley fare). You order at the bar and the bring your food right to your lane. Everything was great. Good seating at the lanes, a nice area to keep your food and drink behind the lane area, and even some nice hooks to hang your coats while you bowl. Zero complaints and a fun afternoon had!
