Went here this evening. Took in a great band. Wasn't packed out cuz it was a Wed night. Great band. They played Blue Ox in the summers if u r into the 'Folk Music thing'. Great band. But the place is laid out nice. When u walk in there is a bar. About 10 minutes before the band started to play the curtains opened up and there was plenty of room to chill. It was nice. Loved the lights. I just 'had' to try out my artistic side and show u the place and the lights. Wish U would have all been with me to enjoy the show. It was awesome. And this place is awesome. I will for sure be back. Check out 'Gather on Broadway' it's laid back. The bar is plenty big and not over-priced. And if they have a band- the area where the band plays is big. Sound is great. Hey nothing else going on in the winter in Wisconsin! Take in a cool band and have a few and enjoy a nice band and some music along with a few drinks(wait I already mentioned have a few drinks- so have a few more!). Why the heck not?! Saw a review about sound not being the greatest due to a concret floor and some other stuff. No issues tonight. Whoever did sound had it dialed in. I went to school for digital media tech and I am seriously picky about sound. Kinda a snob really. However, the sound was spot on. This is a true 5 star review. Can't promise the same sound quality since I have only been here one time. But my experience was awesome. Check it out and hopefully it will be awesome for u as well.

A truly wonderful place to gather! I have been to many events here-from the farmers market on Wednesdays, cooking classes with Chef Jyll, Christmas parties, scotch tastings, you name it. I have never not had a great time with truly delicious food here. They have a band for farmers markets, with a small, yet delicious menu and full bar. The food changes with the season to accommodate local produce, and the food is absolutely flavorful, surprising and innovative. I have seen beautiful weddings decorated for through the large windows. I highly recommend coming here no matter what the occasion.

Wisconsin Professional Wrestling at Gather!

Gather is a great new venue space downtown Broadway. It seems to be used a lot for special dinner events and weddings. I've been here a few times for none of those reasons. They open their doors during the Wednesday Farmers Market and you can get drinks and food and have a cool spot to sit down and relax. They have a small bar made just for the market where they sell three or four beers for $3 which is cheaper than what the market sells. You can get more beer and other adult beverages at main bar. There's a small menu that you can order off. Warning, you don't get a lot for what you pay for. You're better off going outside and getting something from the vendors. Besides that, they have a guy singing and playing the piano, which is a total blast! He takes requests and has a TV screen with the words, so you could sing a long in a microphone. Basically, it's karaoke. My most recent visit was to see the WPW (Wisconsin Professional Wrestling). It was a great space to have a wrestling ring and chairs around the ring, plus some space for high-standing tables. If you went to the bar to get a drink, you wouldn't miss any of the action. My only concern was the lights and speaker set up was kind of low and thought one of the wrestlers would have hit their head when jumping from the top rope. Nevertheless, it was fun. Prices were a bit steep for drinks and the admission was $20. I've been to these events before and they're usually around $10-15. From what I know, I think this is a great space and is worth the value for a private event, but kind of a rip off when open to the public.

Nicole was so helpful in assisting us with every detail to make our event unforgettable for all of our guests. All of the food was exceptional too and the service from the bartenders to the waitstaff was terrific. The Backstage is perfect for the smaller shows that can't fill up the 1000 seats in the Meyer. The show I went to was very calm and chill. The lights were dim and tables and chairs were scattered with candles. It felt very intimate, which did make the show enjoyable. There's a bar in a far corner of the venue. I love that the only beers they had on tap were Green Bay craft brews. That's awesome that they support the local breweries. Besides that they had plenty of bottles to create whatever cocktail that you desire. I know they have their own kitchen and can cater any kind of event. I haven't been to any of those events or tried the food, but I bet they can organize some pretty wicked events.

The new owners gave those of us who go there to dance and mingle a bigger dance floor. Two years ago it was mostly all tables of people sitting all night and those that want to dance had no room To move We were in a sardine can . Now ,last night we all had room and it was stress free , fun and a great event. I went even though it was freezing out because that event is a guaranteed good happy time . the people are so nice. the new owners are very polite and nice . More and more young people are showing up dressed in 50s style even little kids. the most memorable thing i saw was a dad up front dancing wit h his lil daughter teaching her the steps. And they were both dressed 50s style. Richie Valens has energy to burn and The Big Boppper is such a unique fun person and he had zebra shoes to match his zebra coat jacket. and of course Buddy Holly looked and sang so real I though the was the real deal . It took me back in time and I loved it. Also the other band members really gave it th eir all and non stop playing music,
